It's small and in a strip mall, not much on the aesthetics, but the food and service were great. My boyfriend got the Shrimp Hibachi lunch special. He wished they would have gave him more shrimp and less noodles, but was overall good. I got the Fried Shrimp Shumai and a shrimp tempura roll (was a big day for shrimp lol). I enjoyed both but the shrimp tempura roll was a bit hard to eat cause they put two shrimp in each piece and it was rather large around. I wish they made the pieces smaller and served more than 6. The Mexican roll lacked the flavor of any other Mexican rolls I've tried at other sushi places. Also, I've never had a roll with an odd number of pieces to it. The Volcano Roll was underwhelming and small in comparison to the cost ($14 per the wall menu) and how it's prepared and presented in most other places. The topping was more breadcrumb than the standard topping, flavor was reasonable but i went specifically for that and would not go back for it. Additionally ordered the miso soup and 2 Eel sashimi, hoping to have leftovers for the next day. But no, between portions and presentation alone, I just wouldn't. The experience as a whole felt like ordering slow fast food, with dine-in & service prices. The total came out to $23 (plus tip).
