    Rainbow roll and koji roll

Great food and very kind waiter. They did put a 2 person and 4 person table together so this place is not meant for large groups.

Sushi Koji always serves the best sushi in Vienna. Today, I've had a lunch at Sushi Koji and celebrated my friend's master degree graduation. Ordered Sushi for two and my friend and I loved it. Servers checked my water three times and everything tasted great. The restaurant had a lovely, cozy ambience.

Went here with my mother and sister, server was very friendly and the restaurant was beautiful. The food was high quality and I loved their take on the sake don. Very big cut thick slices of salmon and id say it's a good value item. A very solid sushi place all around.

Cozy sushi spot in a strip mall in Vienna with fresh sushi and draft beer along with a variety of ramen and appetizers. We started with the koji black cod as I wanted to taste the koji sauce which had a slightly sweet and umami taste with a tender cod filet inside and a crispier grilled outside on a bed of vegetables. Rainbow specialty roll had a variety of sushi fish out and crab meat, cucumber and avocado on the inside. Tonkatsu ramen had a rich broth yet not too salty with two slices of grilled pork, marinaded shiitake mushrooms, seaweed and other ingredients. It's the marinading (mushrooms) grilling (pork) and making of the rich broth with fresh noodles that makes this ramen better than your average ramen restaurant. I didn't try the spicy tan tan ramen; got feedback that it was not too salty and spicy enough with simple ingredients and fresh noodles. Small portion though. Fresh draft beer came in a frosty mug. It's the little attention to details along with efficient service that made this sushi restaurant better than average.

    Scallop carpaccio

This was my second time at Sushi Koji and it really hit the spot. All of the fish is really fresh and was flavored really nicely. We ordered the scallop carpaccio, uni nigiri, otoro nigiri, dragon roll, baked scallop roll, and tonkotsu ramen. The scallop carpaccio is a must-try! The scallops were really fresh and there was an amazing yuzu sauce that paired really well with it. I also thought the nigiri stood out too-the portions were really generous and the fish was fresh! The uni was really creamy and and otoro melts in your mouth. Everything was delicious and the service was great, too! The servers came by often and asked if we needed anything. The decor inside is also cute! I would definitely come back.

Came here for Valentine's Day and it was such a great choice! They don't do reservations on the weekend but planned to get there around when they just opened to beat the crowd. They decorated their restaurant Valentine's Day themed, which I thought was very thoughtful and fit the vibe. We ordered ramen and about 4 rolls of sushi. To our surprise, it came out on a sushi boat! I never had a sushi boat before because my partner doesn't eat sashimi or raw sushi but I thought that it was a cool moment. Everything was more than expected. And afterwards, the restaurant gave us a balloon. A++++

I came here for a work lunch and really enjoyed it! The space is a little more intimate but still comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The sushi tasted fresh, and the portions were generous for the price. I also shared some seafood ramen with my friend and even though I never had seafood ramen before I really enjoyed it! I'd definitely want to come back to try the rest of the menu.

Went with a group of 6 and service was attentive and efficient. I really enjoyed the steamed egg that came with the katsu don in addition to the usual salad and miso soup! It had a smooth custard like texture and even had a full shrimp inside The katsu don was above average but not mind blowing. A good amount of sauce in the rice. It was a huge portion - I ended up having 2 leftover dinners out of it!

The food was delicious and the service was great. The place is nice and cozy but beautiful. I will definitely be coming back to explore the menu more. 10/10 would recommend!

A great hidden gem in the area! We went during the middle of a weekday so it wasn't overly crowded, but there was only one waitress working the floor. There is limited seating so I'd imagine there would be a longer wait on the weekends. I tried the baked scallop roll and it was very tasty! There was plenty of scallop on top, and the roll was covered in sauce, which was nice. The restaurant is very cute and the decor is gives off earthy vibes, I liked it.

Impressed by both the sushi and the service. They were very accommodative with our kid and provided a high chair without asking, even though the restaurant is a little small. Recommend getting one of the platters so you can try a variety of different items. Prices are reasonable for sushi, around $50 per person depending on how much you get.

Had a delicious lunch today at Sushi Koji! The restaurant is a hidden gem located in a random strip mall on Cedar Ln with ample parking. My mom and I both ordered the Sake (Salmon) Don lunch special which came with miso soup, salad, and egg. Our jaws dropped when the food came out! Biggest cuts of super fresh salmon sashimi we've ever seen. The sushi rice was also delicious. Will definitely come back to try the rest of the menu!

This is hands down the best sushi I have ever had!!…read more Lots of homemade items. They make their own soy sauce and ponzu sauce. Rumor has it that they make their own wasabi. What a pleasant surprise to have fresh sliced ginger rather than pink jarred ginger with all the preservatives. The Food was absolutely AMAZING! It was very fresh! The PRESENTATION was AMAZING! I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again. When we first arrived we were brought a bowl of seaweed salad and freshly steamed edamame to share at the table. We also enjoyed a small bowl of corn soup. My friend and I shared the Salmon Carpaccio appetizer. We both had a Tysons Combo. I had the yellowtail and my friend had the salmon. The yummy house-made soy saw was not as salty as a traditional processed soy sauce. We chose Cafe île, since it was near our hotel in Tysons before our trek home to the valley. We arrived at a very strange time. It was 3 pm on a Sunday over Labor Day weekend. The bathrooms were clean so I am assuming the kitchen is too. The restaurant itself had piles of crumbs around. It was quite dirty. Hopefully they were in the middle of sweeping and cleaning up the dining room. We can't wait to come back!!

What can I say? Bravo to the chef ! Honestly, this is my 5th or 6th time eating here and I hesitated…read moreto leave review, because it's difficult to admit that this small overpriced cafe/restaurant hidden in the middle of corporate Buildings, can be excellent. Well, you got my vote and my loyalty. Place itself is not impressive and service is nice, but not superb. So,I thought on 4 stars, but this food... Wasabi - made in the house, soy sauce- made in the house by chef recipes. Soy sauce is home made!!!! Thick ,complex, tangy and not salty, amazing!!! I ordered sashimi combo this time and it's served with not white lousy rice, but takikomi gohan( please try it). This is one of the most complex flavor combinations in rice I ever had. I felt dashi broth, mirin, tons of veggies and even beans. Sooo nicely served with fish cake flowers on top. Sashimi itself was outstanding, fish selection was excellent, with scallops, squid and freshest cuts of fishes. Previous times I tried rolls and it was amazing as well. So,prices are high, this is not sushi eatery where you can casually grab your lunch. But if you feel like you want artistic style and refined food,or just want to celebrate yourself, this one s the place to indulge and enjoy!
