This is a great spot for sushi on a lunch break. There isn't a lot of seats, but most people get their sushi to go, so you can always find a seat. They are very quick and you can use services like MealPal and Ritual to order ahead of time and just pick up and go. I used ritual to get a $1 Shrimp Tempura roll and then I also got the Spicy Salmon Plate. This includes 5 Salmon Nigiri and a spicy salmon roll. The fish tastes very fresh and there salmon melts in your mouth. I am a big fan of spicy, but I must say, there were lots of red pepper flakes in the spicy salmon roll so I was struggling a little in the end. Rare that a "spicy" roll is actually spicy. The salmon nigiri was amazing but they pre-added the wasabi under the fish, so if you do not like wasabi, this can be a bit of a surprise. I enjoy it but will likely get it without next time so I can control the amount. Staff is very friendly here and service is so quick that you'll have your food within 5 minutes. I work downtown and love sushi, so it's natural that I'd end up at Sushi Kudasai at some point. What do I like about it? They have pretty good sushi lunch options that aren't too expensive and they're very quick. It's easy to get a filling lunch with a giant salad for about $10-12 (or less, if you like rolls), and it's easy to get the food to-go or eat there. I've never seen them packed, so the line's not normally long and (in my experience) there are always plenty of seats available. Granted, I typically take an early lunch (around 11:30AM), but each time, I'm in there for no more than 10ish minutes. Their lunch combos are so convenient, especially for an indecisive diner like me. I tend to rotate between a few go-tos: Combo C or Unagi Rolls - yum! Prices are also on par to what I usually see in the area, which is typically upwards of $10. I typically take my lunch to-go, and they provide you everything from chopsticks and soy sauce packets to a little soy sauce cup. But they also have some seating if you want to eat there. I would say that the aspect that keeps me coming back is not necessarily that it's amazing sushi (it does taste good, though!), but that it's convenient. :) read more

It's helpful they they are on all the apps - Ritual, their website so you can order ahead and grab and go. I especially like their sauces they provide- the ponzo is really tasty. When I would hear my coworkers say "I'm going to Sushi Kudasai for lunch", I honestly held a bit of judgement, due to the fact that it's a "fast food" concept sushi, and I've been to some questionable ones. Tucked inside the US Bank City Centre building on 6th and Union, first thing you notice when you walk in is their MASSIVE menu with a very extensive menu, ranging from basic rolls, to specialty rolls, hand rolls, combos, and even poke. There's a lot of people during lunch rushes, with separate lines for people who order online to pick up (which might be a good option next time!). Order process is fairly quick, I got an Eel roll and a Las Vegas roll to-go and paid about $16, which is a bit "pricey" for lunch on a normal work day. I received my order less than 10 mins. The eel roll is my favorite between the two. Both have unagi (eel), but the Las Vegas roll had cream cheese and imitation crab. Not the biggest fan of the block of cream cheese, but everything else tasted great and I'm excited to try some of their combo menu items! read more

The three of us stopped in for a quick bite for a couple reasons: none of us mind sushi, and one of us was recovering from a stomach bug and rice and miso soup was recommended. The menu items are pretty simple, they have a good selection of combination sushi. I ended up getting the spicy salmon platter. I can say that the nigiri was pretty fresh! Stopped by this old favorite lunch place last week... I was a regular when I worked in this building a few years ago. Still great food and a massive selection of menu options. I usually get the 'Deluxe Lunch' mixed plate with some sashimi and a spicy tuna roll. Always good. All that said, I was a little put off by how dirty the tables were that day. There is not an overwhelming level of dine-in traffic coming through this small shop, so with all the staff people they have there (5-6?), it shouldn't be hard to wipe down the tables more frequently. For $12 I got a decent-sized lunch combo of nigiri, california roll and a side of miso. Most of their rolls are $4-6 each and nigiri is under $2 a piece. They've got veggie options, salads, rice bowls and even large platters (great for your next office function or team lunch). It's not the highest quality tuna (understatement), and the rice isn't the traditional sushi rice- it's basic white rice.
