I didn't really like the yellowtail scallion... hardly tasted the scallion, and the fish was hard, solid... maybe it was the part of the fish they took my portion from that I didn't love. My wife and I dined in and ordered the "sushi pizza" appetizer, sodas, edamame, seaweed salad, several rolls, and the Godzilla specialty roll - total cost of about $75 for both of us. The miso soup was flavorful and the overall portions are generous for a sushi restaurant. The server brought out a free shrimp tempura roll (I believe you get a free tempura roll when you order over $50 worth of food). The only downside we experienced was that that my wife found a bone in her sushi. She said it was the first time it has ever happened - we order from Sushi Me a lot. I've been getting takeout from this restaurant many years ago and just realized I haven't yet written a review for this place lol. I always get sushi sashimi lunch combo. They give you options to select between salad and soup. Even though the price has gone up, the quality and freshness are still the same. Sometimes I had to place an advance order the day before. I guess it was because they were sold out. The order is done correctly and ready to be picked up pretty quickly. If you order from Seamless or Grubhub, you can get free item if you order up to certain amounts. I will keep ordering from this place as long as the quality and the freshness are not compromised, as well as the price lol. read more

Try their Snow Mountain Roll!! That's the roll I came here for twice and keep ordering, because the tempura is pretty crunchy, come with the sweet crap meat on the top, they are perfect matched. Also, I have tried their spider roll, tiger roll, salmon and avocado roll, eel and avocado roll, but these are just okay and nothing wrong. If you order more than $30 , you can get a free roll. And if you order more than $50 you can get a free tempura roll. Well, the free tempura roll has too many cucumber, I can taste only the cucumber but nothing else. They got a delivery order wrong so I called to let them know and asked them to send the correct order. Instead of admitting they made a mistake the lady insisted that is what we ordered. After going back and forth the lady demanded that we pay additional $ to get what we originally ordered. I am so in disbelief that they treat their customers like this. Salmon tasted very fresh and the sashimi slices were big! I wish they did salmon avo instead of spicy salmon though. Roll combo B ($13.95)- Salmon avo, eel avo and shrimp tempura. These 3 are what I would normally get at other sushi places so it's like the set was made for me! All were great. Roll combo C ($13.95)- this was decent but I wouldn't get this again. I was so excited to order sushi for delivery because it's been a while. I ordered spicy salmon rolls and beef chow fun, my usual order for any place I go to. This was the worst chow fun I've ever had. The beef was tasteless but the chow fun was so hard I threw half of it away and forcibly swallowed loose soft one. There was a chunk of chow fun stuck together and hard. I don't know how chow fun can be so hard. The rolls had a weird taste. I think maybe it was the seaweed. Either way I won't be ordering here again. I'm disappointed because this was close by so I was hoping to come here all the time. read more

I've lived in the area for almost a decade now but only found this gem recently (two days ago to be exact). After reviewing their extensive menu, I ended up getting the following items! Vegetable Tempura Bento ($13.95) - This came with rice, miso soup, vegetable tempura (I remember they had taro and broccoli in the mix), salad with dressing, one California roll, and shumai. This Bento box was huge and really filling! I especially enjoyed the vegetable tempura, which was fried to perfection. They also threw in 3 shrimp tempura which was such a nice treat!! Red Rainbow Roll ($11.95) - This roll had spicy tuna with crispy tempura flakes on the inside and was topped with slices of fresh tuna. It was basically a fancy tuna roll. Nothing too crazy but I still enjoyed it a lot because of how fresh the ingredients were. Philadelphia Roll ($4.95) - One of my favorite rolls to get at any sushi place and it tasted great here. Roll Combo B ($13.95) - This combo includes three different rolls: Eel Avocado roll, Salmon Avocado roll, and Shrimp Tempura roll. Loved all of them, especially the Salmon Avocado one - the salmon basically melted in my mouth... so smooth and fresh and delicious! I ordered through UberEats so I can't comment on their indoor dining services. But their food (via takeout) is amazing. Had a sushi craving but have been very wary of eating rolls since it's being handled a lot and we are just over the worst of the pandemic (so far). However, the craving is strong. Needed some spider rolls and ramen and they had it at a reasonable price. I Suggest ordering over phone so you get better price instead of getting ripped off by grubhub. Plus, it helps the local businesses more. Got a salmon teriyaki bento box, tonkatsu ramen, spider roll, black dragon roll and California roll for about $50. Salmon teriyaki was totally worth it for $18 plus soup and salad included. And they put in 2 fairly large salmon filets. Friendly staff, good food and portions, fair prices. Example: $2 surcharge for ordering more than 1 tempura roll for lunch, which is fine, but nowhere written on the paper menu or anywhere in the restaurant There is a coupon in the paper menu for free California roll with $35 spend (no exceptions listed) but the restaurant then randomly refuses to honor for online orders. Pretty decent food with great service. A few local Japanese restaurants have closed down in the area so pretty excited when this one opened. The food is actually pretty good. I got the chicken pad thai (I know not very Japanese), and a spicy tuna roll. The spicy tuna roll was excellent, with the perfect amount of crunch. The chicken pad thai was also very good. The prices for these were pretty decent, with the pad thai coming in at $9 and the roll coming in at $4. My mama got the tonkatsu ramen ($9). She said she really liked it. It looked pretty big with a fair amount of toppings. I tried the broth. What really stood out to me was that it was very eggy, and not overwhelmingly salty, which I really liked. However, some people might say that it tastes bland. To each their own. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ They have parking across the street which is nice. They also advertise that sushi is 50% off, but those are the individual pieces (not rolls) and the prices on the menu are as marked just as a heads up. Found out about this place about a week ago and tried it twice already and love it! Here is what I tried so far: -kani salad 9/10 -miso soup 9/10 -salmon avocado cucumber roll 9/10 -tuna avocado roll -salmon teriyaki 7/10 They give you a good amount of kani salad and it tastes really good and the sushi rolls don't have too much rice which I love. I'd say for the neighborhood, it has really good sushi and apps. I haven't tried anything else yet so I can't comment on it, but once I do, I will! I'm sure it will be just as great.
