Disgusting!!!!! Read this. As I sit here and write this I am simultaneously praying to the gods that I don't get food poisoning. We came here and found the waiting area crowded, thinking this was a good sign we got in line. After 20 min we realized there was no hostess, just a hot mess of random servers coming to check the front door on who needs a seat. No welcome, no hello, nothing. Just "how many". While waiting in line a noticed garbage everywhere on the ground, random Mc. Donald's cups on all the counters belonging to the staff, and empty monster cans on the ground behind the sushi bar. I kept telling myself it can't be that bad. We sit down and 15 min later a waitress comes up and asks what we want. Again no hello, hi or anything, just "what do you want". So we proceeded to order a variety from the menu, the staple items. We noticed the table next to us was friends with the waiter and even though they arrived way after us they got food first, and the waiter dolled over them. Meanwhile 20 min later we still didn't even have water, silverware, or napkins. Did I say how gross the floors are, garbage everywhere!!!!! People walking the around garbage since there was so much!!! Crazy. Looking over the sushi menu I noticed most of it is tilapia, and fried bananas, and fake fish. With pumps of mayo. And when I got my sushi I realized none of it was what they said (the ingredients were cheap cuts of other fish or tilapia). To top off all that nasty ness the desserts were next level cheap and gross. Hard sponge cake was sold as "cheesecake", and vanilla "flavored" ice cream in a plastic disposable cup like I used to get in kindergarten. I still feel sick writing this. Fresh sushi. Wonderful variety. Friendly staff and clean establishment. Highly recommended.

We just discovered this place, didn't realize it was an all-you-can-eat place, but ended up being worth it. Portions come out fairly small so you can try a variety of things. Chefs special rolls have about 6 or 8 pieces. Hibachi plates don't come with rice. Seaweed salad was a smaller serving but very good. All of the food we had was great. Will definitely come again. Just replaced our favorite sushi place (rotating sushi in DC) because it's much cheaper here with the flat price, and they have just about all of the same stuff (more variety here with the sushi). read more

Don't believe instagram, hyping this establishment up. I'm currently sitting in this restaurant and we were met with a CROWD of people waiting to be seated. 30-40 minutes later, we got sat and put in our first order. I got the Richmond roll, chicken fried rice (bland as all get out), my husband had 8 nigiri pieces and one roll, and our friend had 8 nigiri pieces and 1 roll. Our waitress came by asking if we wanted anything else, meanwhile other tables were getting dozens of orders of sushi and hibachi. It took over 30 minutes to receive the first order and then once we were almost done with the first order, we ordered a second round. Now, we were asked by the waitress if we wanted anything else when we told her we haven't even received the second order yet. I personally wouldn't come here again. The sushi is small, the nigiri is weirdly proportioned, and the rice was bland and hard to finish. read more

I would describe the Philly roll as a bit bigger than the typical Chinese buffet rolls or other sushi restaurants, the rolls also had more distinctive smokey flavor to complement the sliced cucumbers and cream cheese. I didn't like the black pepper tuna as the black pepper was somewhat strong and needs rice to complement the tuna. Another thing I didn't like is that the chicken in the hibachi chicken is just regular chicken not chicken teriyaki like Sarku, but it did come with the yum yum sauce. read more

I've been to this place twice already considering they just had their grand opening. The all you can eat buffet is crazy good. The crab rangoon is to die for. All their sushi rolls are good. I did notice that their service is super quick and fast when it's not as full, but once it is it can take a really long time for you to get your food, so my suggested would be to order a lot in your first order instead of ordering one thing at a time. read more

The food was hot, but flavorless. Food runners and severs were all over the place. We order our first 3 rounds of sushi and fried rice and they would only bring one thing and forget the whole rest of the order. Out of the hour that we were there we spent 45 minutes just waiting for food to come. This was my first time at Sushi Ohayo. Excellent selection of high quality rolls and various sushi. This is all you can eat style service with orders taken by waitresses. Portions are small but very yummy. And actually, I preferred this way since you can try many different kind without getting stuffed so quickly. Good and friendly service. read more

Tried this place and was not disappointed! It's all you can eat sushi and hibachi. The sushi is full rolls and the hibachi is cooked at perfect temp. They have yum yum sauce as well. Only recommendation I have is to increase their alcoholic beverage options. read more

The atmosphere inside is clean and simple, and the food is wonderful. With the all you can eat menu we ate two apps and four rolls, and everything was beyond good. By far the sushi was the best. Highly recommend this place as a lunch spot or take out. read more

Went there on a Thursday and woke up Saturday with food poisoning. Went there intending to not do AYCE but was informed it is AYCE only (unless takeout?). This might have been caused by the language barrier and I still do not know if they offer entree selections. The food was pretty good and service was quick. Sushi was disgusting. After one bite I didn't eat a thing. The sushi looked off in color and tasted old. I do not recommend this restaurant. Far too many better sushi restaurants to enjoy. What a waste of money. One piece of sushi for $57 (ordered sushi x2 and a bento box). The bento box wasn't that great either. Fortunately, my kids didn't mind. Save your money. Spend it elsewhere. Or be prepared to eat old sushi and enjoy the after effects...absolutely gross! Sushi was ok, hibachi wasn't good. You get what you pay for. Service was TERRIBLE. We had leftovers and was told we have to pay .50 extra per piece which is fine but a different waitress ran over to tell us we couldn't take it home and pushed our sushi boat with an attitude saying "trash" she did not need to be so rude. She then went on talking shit in Fuzhou (Chinese dialect) calling us pigs and not wanting to pay. I am from fuzhou so I cussed back at her. Plus the sign clearly says you CAN TAKE THE LEFTOVERS HOME but you will be charged for it. Manager came over saying she's new to the country and doesn't speak English. All you can eat sushi for $25.99 is such a steal! When arriving at the place, the entrance was clean, neat, and had pretty lights. The music was on the quiet side, so all you heard was mostly talking from other tables. When being seated at our table, it was a little sticky, so it wasn't properly cleaned. The fish they used were of good quality, but some were just average. The yellowtail jalapeño was high quality, whereas the fish from the dynamite roll (not shown in the picture) tasted lower quality, despite being the same fish. The other plates of sushi I got were very good, like the Ola roll and the spider roll. I came here on a Saturday at around 7:00, and it was quite busy. The waiter did forget my order of seaweed salad the first time, so I had to order it again. Then they mistakenly gave me chocolate mousse instead of ice cream (though they did remember to give it to me later). Since it was busy, I wasn't mad about it. I do believe it would be better to come here when it is not too busy. I would definitely come back here again at a different time! read more

ITS A LONG ONE! I already knew the food was going to be mediocre since it was a ayce place. So I did not have high expectations. But I thought it was quick, easy and close by so why not. Aside from the food being bland and boring, the service was terrible! It was around 2pm and they close at 3 so there was barely anyone in there. We ordered our food, ate pretty quickly and was ready to check out as they were closing. We asked our waiter for a box to take our left overs home while he was calculating our check. As he was going to get the box a random worker ran over and started shouting how we cant take it home and scold our waiter in chinese. Then she said to us rudely while shoving our left over sushi "trash! you pay! 50 cents per piece! you waste food" It completely caught us off guard because we already knew we had to pay for our left over/take out food. It clearly says it on the table and menu. But she refused to let him give us a box and started trash talking us in chinese. Crazy thing is... WE ARE CHINESE. So we understood everything she said, including her calling other customers "fat" and making comments about other customers like "omg they still ordering more food?!" What she said about us in chinese was that we are cheap people for eating at a ayce, how we are trying to not pay (idk why she said that) we are motherfuckers (yes she really said that), turn off the lights with them in here so they can leave, dont let them take the food and blah blah. So I spoke back in chinese and the look on her face was priceless :) Anyways, a different lady came over and apologized for everything. She said how she just started working here and only has been in USA for 4 months. And she even offered us a discount which we did not need. As we walked to the door she kept apologizing which she did not need to cause she did nothing wrong. It was the shit talker lady. But I love how silent she became after she realized I was Chinese and spoke the same dialect (fuzhou) as she did. She could not bare to look me in the face anymore. Terrible food and service, especially considering the price. Food is like cheap Chinese buffet quality, maybe even lower. Pretty sure you can get better dumplings and shrimp tempura in the freezer section of a grocery store. Also the service was so bad, it supposed to be AYCE but you can only order when the server comes around, which was not often. They also said they had gluten free options over the phone but when they sat us it was literally just gluten free soy sauce (ok yes the nigiri was also gluten free but come on). The sushi was also just bad and I'm not even that picky when it comes to sushi. The fish was served slightly warm/room temp, which I'm not sure how food safe that is. Also the spicy tuna/salmon rolls were mixed with panko, which tasted wrong and felt like they were just trying to skimp on the fish/make the roll more filling (in addition to making it inedible for gluten free diets). read more

Great food! They cook after you order from their menu, that's much better than buffet place where the food was pre-cooked. Only $25.88 per person all you can eat, incredible low price. The first round of my order already cost that much if ordered from other restaurant, but then I order a lot more. The salmon and tuna were a delight! The rice to sashimi ratio was well proportioned! Service was very good too. I went with three other friends and we all enjoyed the meal. New dinning room with nice decoration to hang out with friends.
