I opted for the all you can eat and that's exactly what it is. Their menu take a minute to get used to as it was a bit confusing at first but then you'll get the hang of it. Be careful not to over order and leave food on your plate because you'll get charged extra for that. The sushi is good, the service is good as well. This is the second time this place has given me the runs. The first time it happened was about a month and a half ago. I went tonight, and got some of the hibachi. The person I was with noticed that her chicken smelled kind of weird and tasted funny, and decided to not eat it. All you can eat sushi is definitely worth it. Their sushi is of good quality and they have a lot to choose from. You go in and get a piece of paper (or 2) and select what items you want to order. They are very particular with not wasting food or over ordering which I completely get and respect. The hibachi items included in the all you can eat isn't all that great. first let me start by saying i gave 1 star because you have to give at least 1 but if it were up to me there would be no star at all I was a frequent visitor. ate here a few times a month till one day when i went with my girlfriend. we were seated and that was pretty much it. we filled out the kitchen and sushi menu like normal. the waitress took the sheets then we waited and waited and waited. our waitress walked by a few times to help other costumers but never came to our table to check on us. i quickly became annoyed when customers who were seated after us were getting their food. we continued to wait for a total of 45 minutes. the waitress finally came to our table to tell us the food will be out soon. after about an hour the food finally came out but most of the rolls we ordered were wrong. After the meal me and my girlfriend got up to leave. i had no change to leave a tip(which i shouldn't have left) so i grabbed the check and headed to the front counter to pay my bill and break a 20. the waitress was standing close by, watching us as we gathered our stuff then head to the counter to pay and i guess she thought we weren't going to leave a tip so she followed as we walked to the counter where the manager was and ,To add insult to injury, she complained that we didn't leave her a tip. the manager looked at us and asked if we were going to tip her. i explained that i had no change and had to break a big bill for the tip which i feel i shouldn't have to do. regardless of the terrible service i still left a tip. that to me was the worst customer service and because of it i will never eat there again . read more

Been here four times, food is pretty good for the money. Can't go wrong with all you can eat sushi. I eat mostly sashimi here, which is actually cut pretty thick compared to some of the other ayce sushi places I've been to. Sushi is fresh and service is pretty good. Stumbled upon this place on my way home with my wife and we were very pleased. My wife and I love sushi but limit ourselves because it can get pricey. For $19.95 we ate plenty of sushi as well as hibachi and everything was fresh and delicious. yes the pieces were small but so what. If it's all you can eat, why would you care. I saw some negative comments about the service but I actually experienced very good service, so no complaints there. Everytime we finished our food the waitress placed a new menu on our table. This sushi place is AMAZING. I've probably tried a hundred different sushi restaurants and this is the one that I keep coming back to (along with my family and friends)! Although it is in a different class than say Nobu, the food is the freshest, and tastiest of all the mid-tier places I've tried! We went to this buffet and left a respectable tip of 15%. However, a woman who worked there came up and started demanding that we leave a higher tip. She refused to leave until we left a higher tip. I used to love Sushi Palace when they first opened up but the service and quality of food has just gone down so much. They used to show you to your seat, ask if you needed anything and so on. Now they literally just point you in the right direction, put a paper down in front of you, and walk away. The last time I was there, I ordered the Volcano Roll and Godzilla roll. Keep in mind, I usually order these so I know how they taste, but something was different. It tasted rotten! I took the fish that was placed on top off, low and behold... BLACK, MOLDY AVOCADO! Legit MOLD growing on it and it was in the Godzilla roll too! I told the wait staff and showed them what I was talking about and they said "Oh so sorry, it's because we don't really use the avocado. Do you want a new roll?" Um, no thanks. I was so turned off after that, I refused to eat any more sushi. Also, they charged my friend and I full price, including the extra for what we didn't eat. Simply amazing. I passed this place driving down Central ave and I wasn't to sure what to expect. Most sushi buffets I've been to really haven't been that great, either only one aspect of the the restaurant is great or none at all. At Sushi Palace, no part of the menu is limited or left to the ordinary. I started with a few appetizers, miso soup and some aged tofu, we also placed our order for sushi. It must be put to order, they don't have a pick and go sushi buffet table. They actually make their sushi to order, 100% fresh on demand. When the sushi got to our table I was in shock, it was as good as any expensive sushi bar, maybe even better. And for all of you that may be asking if its really a buffet, yes it is! You can put a new order as many times as you'd like. They even have a fresh stir-fry station, just pick your raw ingredients and their Chef will cook it up for you. read more

I usually come here for the all you can eat sushi because it's not a bad deal and the sushi isn't all that bad but today I took my daughter there and being she doesn't eat sushi, I took her to the hibachi station so they can make her food fresh and everything at the station looked rancid, smelled and was COVERED IN FLIES! I was so disgusted, I walked out. The employees didn't seem bothered by it either but maybe they just didn't understand what I was saying. You cannot feed people that! If you love Sushi and Hibachi this is the place for you. This is not a traditional buffet place. Food are not on a warming tray. You have to pick the Sushi you wanted and they are prepared by the Sushi Chef just for you. It comes out in a huge platter. Awesome! The Hibachi chef cook anything you put together on a plate from a "salad stand" either rice or noodle. My family love it. So many things are wrong with this place. 1) they took a long time to take my order and were rude. 2) i had to write what i wanted for them 3) i had to get my own habachi, instead of them just giving me a standard serving. I came here last week and i was very busy but i wanted to make sure I warn people not to come here because i got food poisoning. Do NOT go to this place. First of all it has a terrible atmosphere. Then, the sushi quality is terrible. I got some sashimi and each piece was moldy, tasted really fishy, and was frozen in the middle. Then it took about 45 mins for them to just take my order. I've been here several times and I am a big fan. The unlimited hibachi, salad, soup, sushi, and ice cream you get for just over $20 is straight up unbeatable. The restaurant is clean and you hardly ever have to wait to be seated. If I were to go to another sushi restaurant and order what I usually do here (when I get the buffet which is pretty much every time), the bill would likely be triple the price. Rip Off. Don't waste your time, or money. I can't comment on the sushi, but I did go for the "all you can eat" hibatchi for lunch. No prices, no menu, just printed food items unprofessionally printed on cheap scraps of note paper, with check boxes for your sushi items. The hibachi is serve yourself. You fill your plate with the raw chicken, beef, tiny white raw shrimp, vegetables, and rice and bring it up to the grill. All I can say positive about it is that it was clean. When I asked "How much is the hibatchi buffet", (no signs, no prices) I was told "Tenteeniteyfi" by the server, which I understood as $13.95. Obviously commercial frozen vegetables, white rice, and a plate of chicken, with no hibatch dipping sauces. (They had no idea what I was talking about) Bland vegetables, no seasoning, are then heaped together with chicken and tiny white shrimp on your plate instead of separating it as it was cooked. I was not impressed at all, and for $13.95, it was not worth the money for a plate chicken and rice. Then I got a bill for $55 for myself and my daugter, ( $1.50 for a coke, $6.50 for a large Sapporro which is fair) and find out "tenteenityfi" is actually $20.95. I was robbed without a gun. I left a 20% tip, since it was not the servers fault, and even gave the hibatchi chef $5 while he was cooking our plate. $65 lunch for 2 plates of bland stir fry chicken, tough shrimp and rice is a ridiculous price for a low brow place like this. So sushi is something I love and I tried this place out about month ago. The place is pretty neat, staff is very friendly and the food is great. Me and one of my friend went here bit late and the staff didn't rush us out. They made sure we were satisfied with the service. Only reason they didn't get 5 star is because at first it was confusing. The menu and picking out what you want process was difficult since it was the first time there.
