Stoped by fir lunch and I was pleased with my bento box . Service was super quick and the portions were great. I will definitely be going back

Overall this place is underwhelming. I think it would be a good takeout spot but not for dining in. It has good outdoor seating and the staff was extremely friendly! Bathrooms were very clean. Everything that I ordered was good but nothing crazy or special. Would probably order Togo next time.

Very solid! I chose Sushi Plus because it was one of the few sushi restaurants open early. The restaurant was empty on a Thursday (late) afternoon, which made sense for the time of day. The interior had a casual vibe with plenty of seating. My partner and I both started with Miso Soup, which was predictably good. For sushi, I ordered the Crazy Roll and Philadelphia Roll. Both were very tasty and had generous cuts of raw fish. I was impressed by the quality. The Crazy Roll pieces were large and messy to eat, but I didn't mind. My partner also enjoyed his sushi, especially the Double Double Roll. Service was friendly and attentive. Overall, would recommend Sushi Plus if you're looking tasty, no-frills sushi.

Delicious food, HUGE portions (we couldn't even finish our dishes even though we were both hungry). The chirashi bowl only cost $30. Service was a bit slow.

Only sushi place I found open at 3 :30 pm So glad I found this place , we ordered 6 rolls and tempura shrimp! We loved it ! Definitely coming back! Service was great!

Honestly this is the best sushi in the area, everything is so fresh and delicious. We have gotten take out and dined inside and outside and the service is always consistent, the employees are very nice. I do wish there was more space on the inside to fit our stroller but other than that everything here is amazing.

Nabeyaki Udon

Decent place for bentos. The prices are quite high but they do give you a lot of food on the bentos. The items are alright but I would only come here if I just happened to be in the area. Their nabeyaki is not the best. The toppings are not traditional and no runny egg. The soup was seasoned well but it lacked the namesake stone pot. Would go elsewhere for nabeyaki udon and bentos.

My wife and I recently went to Sushi plus (again ) in Redwood City and it was amazing. Gyoza is our go to appetizer. The BBQ ribs were seasoned perfectly and tender. The unagi roll and tempura udon was delicious. And my sake and beer was obviously really tasty. We sat outside with our dog as usual, and the vibe was super chill and friendly. The owners even came out to check in, which is always special. We're going to be coming back guaranteed.

Yummy! There are outdoor and indoor seating! Good for large parties or small parties. Sushi was well priced, affordable! Not only was it affordable, it was pretty fresh with larger cuts :)! Definitely will come again! Staff were very friendly and attentive. Come try for yourself :)

Sushi delivery quality was terrible. Ordered nigiri and some rolls. All were warm and not fresh.

Wow. Could not have been happier with the food!…read more Will present the food in the order I would recommend: Banana fritters- soft clouds of fried dough, over some rum dark chocolate sauce. Divine! 7/5 Curry cauliflower over a red non spicy sauce. Refreshing! The flavors blended together with the flavorful but not overpowering flavor, with the well balanced sauce underneath. Could not stop eating it. $17 8/5 Mezze plate - the coconut feta was very creamy and good, I really enjoyed the pomegranate arugula salad with pickled onion and with the pieces of falafel inside. The flatbread was a little hard, but good. The eggplant was good and hummus also good. $32 price a little steep for the platter 6/5 Impossible cheeseburger - classic impossible burger. The standout item was the fries, quite good! Crisp outside and soft inside. 5/5 French toast - ok, a little dry, the berry sauce was good but lacking a little dynamic flavor maybe some citrus? 3/5 Cookie with vegan ice cream. Alas, pastries are still difficult to make well vegan 3/5 Service was a little distracted and hard to order. Bussing was very on top of it. I will return for the top items

Everyone ordered different dishes so we could try a lot of things from the menu. 1/5 Athenian Eggplant - Far too sour and the flat bread was SO HARD. Even carb lovers didn't want to finish it. 4/5 Green Falafel - Came warm and the tzatziki sauce was pretty good. 4/5 French fries - Sauces were interesting. 1/5 Mushroom bao - ONE small piece of fried mushroom in each of the two baos that came out. It was stuffed with sour lettuce instead. 2/5 Corn pizza - That coconut mozz was not it for me. 3/5 Chicken sandwich - Solid. Drinks were good! What's up Doc was my fave. Located in the corner of the plaza next to CVS. Good service.

Never really got to try this place until recently. People have told me we went to the SJ one but I…read morereally don't remember, sad it closed. Now I gotta drive either to RWC or SL to get this fix. Saturdays are Prime Rib nights and that's what you want to get. My first visit though was on some random weekday when I was in town and really didn't know what to order. I ended up getting a Pastrami sandwich because I saw they hand carve their meats, and I have been craving something as close to Katz Deli in NYC as possible. It's definitely not as good but it was decent. I came back for Prime Rib on Saturday and that was a massive hit. Honestly the best Prime Rib under $30 in the area, and I've tried several. Line can be long, ended up waiting 35 minutes. The line system can be optimized, but it is what it is. Love the condiments at the table, they use Beaver branded everything. From strong horse radish that'll make your nasals burn and your tear ducts flow, to whole grain deli mustard (which is my favorite kind of mustard), perfect for sandwiches.

Food is good but it comes out lukewarm/cold. This is a cafeteria style ordering, so you grab a tray…read moreand go down the line. The menu is pretty extensive, so I would only get in line if I'm ready to order because the workers go chop-chop-quickly. I think you could share a meal with someone here because the portions are enough to feed 1.5 people. I took leftovers home! I really liked the mashed potatoes and gravy flavor 5/5. The rotisserie chicken was excellent and juicy still! 5/5. Salads are all mixed with the dressing so it gets soggy 2/5. Bread was cold, but easy to eat with the flattened salted butter they give you 3/5.

The eggplant we got was also insanely flavorful and well-seasoned, and I would get this again in a heartbeat. The minty jalapeno chicken made me want to try to recreate this dish at home. I love anything with mint in it, and I love anything with jalapenos in it. Put them together, and it's a combo made in heaven. The spring rolls were also very good, but pretty standard, so it's not a must-try, but they're great if you're craving something deep fried and crispy. Omg, the coconut rice. I'd never really had coconut rice like this before despite growing up around Asian food, and I've had dreams about eating this again. We doordashed everything for our most recent meal and even though quality can sometimes suffer when you're having something delivered (or even when you're getting takeout), every dish was so incredible. I can't wait for our next meal from Burma Spice - in fact, I think I might doordash it again for lunch tomorrow!

Stopped by on a Saturday evening and found it surprisingly slow for such a well-rated restaurant…read more We were seated quickly by the attentive and friendly staff. The mango chicken was very, very good. A nice balance of sweet and spicy. The coconut rice was a perfect accompaniment. We were disappointed though by the tea leaf salad. It was a little bitter and didn't have much flavor. More than anything, it tasted mostly of oily romaine lettuce. We plan to come back though with more people to try more dishes. Based on the chicken, I think this place has promise.
