    Time of the restaurant

Just coming out cant dine in at 11:35 i was 5 min on the door waiting for a host and the restaurant closes at 1:00. They told me cant dine in just take out, there's no sign or anything that says that but well my experience. Love sushi sake just a bad experience in this one

Was rushing to get dinner & was in the mood for sushi. Decided to go with Sushi Sake for take out. I ordered the Miami Heat roll & steamed gyoza on the side. Placed the order & my order was ready in under 20 minutes. I went in the restaurant for pick up everything was very clean, there wasn't a lot of people eating there. This was a Thursday at about 5ish to have an idea. I got home & my order was perfect ! Everything was super tasty & fresh. Yes a little pricey, but it's for the quantity / quality I find it well worth it.

I'm giving it 4 stars only because my experience was not the best as soon as my mother and I walked in. We stood for a couple of minutes at the front of the door, waiting for a hostess. We saw that no one came so we made our way towards the sushi bar. At the sushi bar, the two gentlemen behind the bar didn't even bother to look up at or address us. The hostess was behind the bar and we asked if we could sit anywhere. She made her way to our table and gave us menus. That's when the experience improved. She took care of us by providing good customer service and the food was delicious. Nothing disappointed and the ambiance was just like any other Sushi Saki, it was clean & it wasn't very busy because it was daytime.

JB ROLL. The salmon had bones. I almost choked on it. Never had sushi with bones before.

I ordered through Uber eats for delivery. I got the JB roll and Miami heat. The JB roll has bones in the salmon. I have never had sushi that had bones in it. I had gotten the Miami heat roll every time at other locations. Their Miami heat rolls taste nothing like the other locations. I had a weird sweet taste and no spice at all. I accidentally order from this location because I'm the past I had hairs in my chicken fried rice.

LOVE THAT THIS IS ALLDAY BREAKFAST TOO! more restaurants need to be less restrictive with their breakfast/dinner menus like this! The seating area was small, so I imagine this is more of a to go experience. But it still felt comfortable and it was just us that were there sitting. Need to go back and try their shawarma pizza.

And so I have now visited three times. Or I should say two since one was a delivery order. This is a rather long review so in case you don't wanna read the whole thing, here's the summary. This place is great. Food is great. Service is great. Restaurant is beautiful. Done. Now everybody else, please read on. I will start with the delivery order. I had a desire for falafel for lunch and found the excellent reviews of this particular restaurant and figured I would give it a try. Did the order through DoorDash and received it much quicker than expected. The falafel was exceptional. Shaped a little bit strangely because they overloaded the scooper to give you more, it was expertly seasoned, freshly made, and delicious. Definitely within my top three in Miami and being right near my home will sit at number one on my list. The fact that they were able to get the order out to DoorDash and arrive at my home still warm, gets it extra points. But the delicious flavor, crunchy on the outside soft on the inside, and even a delightful aroma was really overwhelming. Paid for six got seven! Recently paid for five elsewhere and got four. Again extra points for a wonderful portion. But then look at what is surrounding it. Excellent smoky flavored eggplant. Delicious lentils and rice. Exceptional hummus. Fresh pita. Not a fan of tabouli to begin with so I won't comment except to say it was as good as it gets. Overall, I loved everything on the plate and loved everything about it. Came here for lunch one day with my wife. She had a falafel sandwich which I didn't take note of as I should have because I was so overwhelmed by my delicious lamb Shawarma platter. Again with all the best sides and the baba ghanoush was as good as any I've ever had. But the lamb was so moist and savory and tasty. I've gotta say that their attention to flavor is evident in everything that they serve. And then my other visit. This one was breakfast. Boarded my puppy last night so that my wife and I could have a romantic evening out for her birthday and picked her up this morning and wanted to take her for breakfast. Was thrilled to see that pesto Café and Grill as outside seating. I ordered the lox omelette and a side of bacon. I had coffee and they brought her a nice bowl of water. It does not come with a bagel so there is an up charge which I found mildly annoying but I wanted to try the full experience so I ordered anyway. It also comes with hashbrowns, which I wasn't particularly interested in, but it came with the meal. They make their lox omelette with onions and capers, and I noticed some green onions as well. They also use cream cheese, which I'm not generally a fan of. Since moving to Miami, I see way too much cream cheese being used in way too many ways. What is with this Miami obsession with cream cheese? Some places even put it in my sushi. Blasphemy. Oh but that's not part of this review perfect; for this review I am going to reverse everything I isually say about cream cheese because the flavorful way that they blend this imtoy the omelette as a condiment and not something that overpowers the other flavors was spectacular. I could not enjoy it more. The bacon was a huge order and was cooked perfectly. I hate sloppy greasy bacon. It was as if they knew exactly how I would want it served. Or maybe they just have good taste and serve it like how I like it. My waitress, Kayla was exceptional as well. But the service did not end there. Multiple people from inside came out periodically to make sure that I was happy outside and had everything I needed; that my coffee was full, and my water glass was filled and my table was cleared to unused dishes. They even made sure my dog had water and kept an eye on her water bowl so that it did not get too empty. Who does this? I'll tell you, they do. Eat here I know you will get great food made from the best ingredients and cooked perfectly and served treating you like they you as a customer. Even after I paid, they continued to come outside and make sure I didn't need anything else and fill my coffee without pushing me to leave and allowing me to enjoy my wonderful breakfast. And then to relax and enjoy the beautiful day out in front of their restaurant and be pampered. I didn't just feel like they cared, I realized that they really do. I will be back. Often. I will order from DoorDash from here. Often. And I will recognizing this on social media and recommend it to everyone I know. Often. Because you do not come across a place like this very often.

The staff was super friendly and attentive. We're always on the lookout for healthier options (especially gluten-free for my husband), and this place delivered. We tried the quinoa pizza with mushrooms -- you can choose three toppings, but my husband kept it simple with just mushrooms. The flavors were on point and absolutely delicious. Our only wish was that the crust had been a bit crispier, more cracker-like. It was a little soggy on the bottom, but the taste was still great. We also ordered the chicken double burger and the turkey double burger. Both came with caramelized onions, mushrooms, and arugula -- so flavorful and satisfying! They're served without a bun, and you get to choose two sides. I had the sweet potato purée and veggies, and both were delicious. Everything felt fresh, hearty, and filling without being heavy. For dessert, we had the gluten-free carrot cake made with almond flour -- super moist, the perfect touch of cinnamon, and not overly sweet. Such a great ending to the meal! They also make fresh juices with no added sugar, which I love. If you're looking for a healthy spot with gluten-free options and lots of flavor, this is definitely it. We'll be back!

It took a bit for our waiter to stroll back around to take our order, and for a Sunday morning brunch, I wouldn't have considered this place a "packed" house. When the time came around, I was first to place my order, I wanted something different so I ordered Shakshuka. Of course; I did my quick research of the dish before getting to the restaurant! Shakshuka is suppose to be a one-skillet egg dish, the eggs are basted in this rich, thick red pepper, tomato, onions, and garlic sauce, topped with satueed peppers. I also ordered a French toast and chai latte! Fast forward to when everyone dishes were dropped off, even though I was first to order my dish did not arrive. I waited around for 10-15 minutes, my whole family was pretty much done with their meals. I had to call over our waitress to advise my order was never dropped at the table. After letting her know, my dish was expedited to the table in less than 5 minutes. Could they have been a rush to send out the dish? Possibly. Because that was the worst dish ever and nothing like described. The peppers were not sautéed (or little to nothing) and were just sliced, plated for decor. The tomato/red pepper based sauce seemed like it was just canned tomato sauce, very liquid-y. Simply was not fond of this dish. The french toast were more like hard french toast sticks, I would've liked it to be on the fluffier end, but they were hard/toasted. Nothing that blew my mind. As far as my chai latte, it was divine! The perfect warm hug. The chai to steamed milk ratio was on point, and topped cinnamon. My mom ordered their $42 Entrecöte Frites; man, did that sound delicious. As a true steak connoisseur, she loves a bleeding rare steak! So that was the temperature she ordered, rare. I was excited to snag a bite or two from her plate to be the judge it for myself. The plate dropped the first time, she cut right in the middle of it to see the finishing temperature... it was wrong. Sent it right back. The second time it hit the table, the temperature was correct. A bright red center and a seared exterior, just what she was looking for. However, it was so salty, you just could not get past all the salt, nothing to enjoy. Not edible, unless you wanted clogged arteries right then and there! My wife ordered a caprese sandwich. Yes, I also took a bite of that while waiting my for my order(lol). The baguette bread was airy, delicious, and soft. The mozzarella was fresh and the tomatoes were nice and ripe. I also tried their croissants, almond and chocolate croissant, pistachio croissant, and Nutella croissant. They were buttery, flaky, and all the fillings complimented it well. My conclusion to La Boulangerie is you have to be selective about what you order from here. Maybe they had an off day and we were the unlucky ones, but the more complicated meals turned out to taste the worst. However, you can definitely enjoy light bites here... you can't go wrong with a baguette sandwich, coffee, or a pastry. I think baking and light fare is where their true expertise lies.
