We did the all-you-can-eat lunch for $19.99. Compared to Kura in Fishers, this price cannot be beat. Unfortunately I didn't see sashimi as an option, maybe it's only for dinner and weekends? It was not that busy there and I didn't see that many plates circulating, so we ordered the majority from the tablet. I like Nigiri, and I was happy with the size of the fish. The rice however was a bit dry and hard. But I enjoyed my salmon and white tuna (escolar) nigiri (FYI- white tuna(escolar) is banned for consumption in Japan for GI issues it can cause. You might want to enjoy them in moderation). We also enjoyed sides like Takoyaki and seaweed salad. There were more items like ramen for additional charge. Desserts were also included in AYCE. We had a great time checking this place out for the first time! Unique atmosphere with good music and a lot to look at (mostly the moving belt of sushi!!). The waiter and staff were all very friendly. We had to ask about table clearance and more water so not sure if it was inattentiveness or just how they do things to leave you to your own experience. That didn't bother us too much though and they were very quick to address any questions or needs. The food was great! The only problem is I have no idea what I ate!!! I was grabbing plates and eating them as quickly as I could. Oops. I don't think there was anything I didn't like. I was sad I could not finish it all and that I got full very quickly!! I need to train for the next time I go there X-D. Another plus is that you can order from their limited menu through their ordering iPad for additional things like appetizers, soup, salad, fried rice, etc and these are delivered by a special train! Indiana went from zero revolving sushi restaurants to two in less than a year. Sushi Station is the second revolving sushi joint to open in Hamilton County, and it's a fun place to eat, especially if you have kids with you. The sushi is fine. But you don't come here for amazing sushi. You come here for the ambiance. It's all about the cute train that delivers your edamame and dumplings to you. And the seemingly endless plates of sushi, rolls, Japanese desserts and other foods revolving right in front of your eyes at your table. And the tokens you earn for the sushi you eat, which you can redeem for adorable prizes. This is an "experience" restaurant, for sure. But! I did enjoy the Forest Roll a lot, which is a roll full of cucumber, avocado, seaweed salad and sesame seeds. It needs a little wasabi, but it was fresh and light. And the spicy rolls that I tasted were great (Kiss on Fire was my favorite). The rolls passing by on the revolving thingy looked so artfully arranged and delicious. I wish I could have tasted them all. We ate maybe 10 plates of sushi, and each plate is four pieces, so we ate a lot of sushi. They give you a token for every $50 of food you eat, and we earned two tokens! So that tells you a bit about how much sushi we indulged in. But it was Mother's Day weekend, and this was my Mother's Day dinner, so there you go. I feel like Sushi Station is a lot more low-key and laid-back than the other revolving sushi place. When my wife and I first visited this restaurant, it took us a while to figure out the system. Some items are ordered on a tablet at the table, but for the most part, you just grab small plates of rolls and sushi as they come down the conveyor belt. TL;DR. It's fun. It's novel. It's expensive. It's rocking in there. I went in for the conveyor belt sushi experience. There is a tablet at the table with a menu that has other sushi items, fried rice and appetizers made to order. Those are delivered via a train above the conveyor belt. The place was all a buzz with music cranked up to 11. Good thing I was by myself and didn't need to hold a conversation. The wait staff was extremely attentive, but difficult to hear. The sushi was good, nothing outstanding, and rice did not have vinegar flavor. The rolls on the belt had 4 items per plate and were on the smaller side compared to what I get elsewhere. The nigiri looked normal sized; however, most of the nigiri was either not replenished or someone down the belt kept grabbing them before me. Sadly, the salmon in the photo never made it back on the belt, nor did the tuna, super white tuna, yellow tail, octopus, or surf clam. I got tired of waiting and starting grabbing plates with rolls. For the size of the rolls, I feel it's over priced. I get it. This is like going to a buffet at a resort. You're playing for the variety not to get your money's worth. I just wish on this visit there was more variety to choose from. I am sure I will be back to try it again. Update: I have been back now 4 times and increased the stars to 4. I went on 12/23/24 and apparently they just opened ealier this month. They are located in Westfield where the Bubs Burgers used to be. Which actually was where I had planned to go for lunch, and I didn't realize that that Bubs location had closed! It was a little after 1:30 on a Monday in a holiday week, so not exactly lunch rush. The theme is a train station, and the whole place is deocrated like a silver bullet train car. My server showed me the tablet at my table and said I could either pull plates off the conveyor belt, or order off the tablet and the little train cars above the conveyor belt would bring it around to me. The small plates are priced at 3.76-6.75 depending on the color of the plate. There are also other menu items on the table (ex., ramen bowls) that can be ordered. I used the tablet to get a miso soup ($2.75), but the waiter brought it to me instead of the train. Then I pulled two plates off the conveyor ( a "green" and a "blue" ) that were 4.25 and 5.75. Each had 4 little pieces of a different roll. I drank water. So my total for lunch before tip was $13.90. Which is not expensive in the grand scheme of things, but does seem a little high for what I ate. Items were fresh and were tasty. But I couldn've eaten much more - I just didn't want to end up with a $50 lunch, which is easy to do if you are just pulling little plates. And if you spend a certain amount of money at your meal, you get little tokens to try a claw game. Maybe I was there at a little slow time, but there was not a ton of variety on the conveyor belt. In this case, ordering off the tablet would be a good idea. I also was recently at the soft opening of Kura Revolving Sushi off 69/116 in Fishers. I went when they were extremely busy, but they had a large selection, and all their plates are the same price (just different amounts of contents). Forgot to take a pic of the prices but I think the plates were between $2-$7. Once ordered the food comes to you on a train. Staff come around to refill drinks and check in on troubleshooting any issues. The sushi tasted fresh and rice was good. Slices of fish on the nigiri are on the thin side but I likes that the spicy salmon didn't have added panko filler and actually tasted like spicy mayo and salmon (as it should). The rolls felt pretty standard for rotary sushi - nothing super creative but theres a variety from the basic california rolls and veggie rolls to rolls with more ingredients and sauces. Would love to see them add some chili oil to some of the rolls! At the end of your meal, you get a coin to redeem for a prize from the toy vending machines if you spend $50. Great place to try lots of different flavors, because there are only about 4 bites per plate. I wish I had made a list of everything I tried- Snow White, Godzilla, Surf and Turf, Rainbow, Kiss on Fire, Spicy Salmon... and washed it all down with a Thai Tea. Special orders get delivered by the train above the conveyor. My total for 9 different plates of sushi/ nigiri/ maki and Thai tea= $53 before tip. (They gave me a 10% discount too.) My score actually is 3.5 but that's not an option. I love a good revolving sushi bar experience so I had to try this place while in the area. I came in at lunch. It is super clean and modern in there. The AYCE lunch is reasonably priced. I did have fun picking some things off conveyor. I wish they offered the maki as smaller portions so I could try more. Maybe they could add a few smaller plates so people can try more of their creative options The rolls I did try were great especially the sunshine roll. The whimsical train that brought the gyoza and tuna nigiri was a delight. I was a little disappointed that there weren't shumai , tataki or scallops offered at lunch. They offered plenty but it would be the one thing that makes me go somewhere else for this experience. Plus there was no dessert. I just wanted a little tiny bit of sweetness after my meal. The atmosphere is so fun, with continuous conveyor belts of sushi rolls varieties, nigiri, and some deserts. When you order off the menu it is delivered by miniature train. A very fun experience.
