Nice concept, fast service, plenty of employees, rotating sushi stations, and a electric train brings you your special order, quality of the sashimi was top-notch, sushi rolls were decent, appetizers were decent also. My favorite sushi in town is blue sushi of course that could be much more expensive, but price for what you're getting is very good, but quality on the rolls is decent by comparison to the top places in town

I've been meaning to hit this hot spot for quite some time! Nothing to turn around your day like a sushi train! Brought my son who is an adventurous eater at 10 and he wants to return every week! With friends! Walking in, we're greeted by friendly staff, located in a strip near Grand Park so very easy to access! We sat in a comfy booth while the sushi circles around and includes note cards w ingredient descriptions! You're also able to order specifically and the upper tracks comes out w a train that honks and says to grab your food! Kids also receive tokens and are able to get a prize at the end! We tasted so many, he received 2 tokens! The sushi is so fresh and dietary needs are met for this pescatarian! I enjoyed the fried tofu and the seaweed roll! My son loved the surf and turf, spicy girl and the sweet egg? Amazing! 10/10

There is something so fun about picking out sushi that comes freshly delivered to you on a conveyor belt. This place is adorable. If you want something on menu, it gets delivered by a little train! The color of the plates indicates the price of the food. It allows you to slowly eat and not overconsume this place was fun. I was able to sit and talk with my friends and family and enjoy a wonderful meal the joy of the conveyor belt, the train the service and the food made this place. Incredible. I wish I lived closer!

This was such a fun experience. I felt like I was at a theme park. I was literally like a kid waiting on my sushi to arrive on the train. I ordered the Philadelphia Maki and Fried Dumplings. Both were very good. I also ordered a Brown Sugar Milk Tea with Jelly Boba. It was delicious as well. The staff were very friendly and seemed to be truly happy to be there.

When my wife and I first visited this restaurant, it took us a while to figure out the system. Some items are ordered on a tablet at the table, but for the most part, you just grab small plates of rolls and sushi as they come down the conveyor belt. The food quality is what really stands out at this place: My fried rice was stellar - maybe the best I've had in a long while. And, the rolls are all fresh and flavorful. The overall ambiance is great, since the food delivery system is a fun alternative that kids definitely love.

TL;DR. It's fun. It's novel. It's expensive. It's rocking in there. I went in for the conveyor belt sushi experience. There is a tablet at the table with a menu that has other sushi items, fried rice and appetizers made to order. Those are delivered via a train above the conveyor belt. The place was all a buzz with music cranked up to 11. Good thing I was by myself and didn't need to hold a conversation. The wait staff was extremely attentive, but difficult to hear. The sushi was good, nothing outstanding, and rice did not have vinegar flavor. The rolls on the belt had 4 items per plate and were on the smaller side compared to what I get elsewhere. The nigiri looked normal sized; however, most of the nigiri was either not replenished or someone down the belt kept grabbing them before me. Sadly, the salmon in the photo never made it back on the belt, nor did the tuna, super white tuna, yellow tail, octopus, or surf clam. I got tired of waiting and starting grabbing plates with rolls. For the size of the rolls, I feel it's over priced. I get it. This is like going to a buffet at a resort. You're playing for the variety not to get your money's worth. I just wish on this visit there was more variety to choose from. I am sure I will be back to try it again. Update: I have been back now 4 times and increased the stars to 4. The key is to order the nigiri from the tablet, and not wait for it to come on the conveyor belt. The nigiri is very fresh and the move. They service Pepsi products.

This is now one of my daughter's favorite places. The music, the train, the little token machines.. it makes for a fun environment. The service was fine. You can order off of tablets hanging by the table if you don't see something on the train. The food was not my favorite, everything was very cold. The edamame, the rice on the sushi... It kind of reminded me of Kroger sushi. The miso soup was a bit salty for me. The sushi was covered with a lot of sauce.

I went on 12/23/24 and apparently they just opened ealier this month. They are located in Westfield where the Bubs Burgers used to be. Which actually was where I had planned to go for lunch, and I didn't realize that that Bubs location had closed! It was a little after 1:30 on a Monday in a holiday week, so not exactly lunch rush. The theme is a train station, and the whole place is deocrated like a silver bullet train car. My server showed me the tablet at my table and said I could either pull plates off the conveyor belt, or order off the tablet and the little train cars above the conveyor belt would bring it around to me. The small plates are priced at 3.76-6.75 depending on the color of the plate. There are also other menu items on the table (ex., ramen bowls) that can be ordered. I used the tablet to get a miso soup ($2.75), but the waiter brought it to me instead of the train. Then I pulled two plates off the conveyor ( a "green" and a "blue" ) that were 4.25 and 5.75. Each had 4 little pieces of a different roll. I drank water. So my total for lunch before tip was $13.90. Which is not expensive in the grand scheme of things, but does seem a little high for what I ate. Items were fresh and were tasty. But I couldn've eaten much more - I just didn't want to end up with a $50 lunch, which is easy to do if you are just pulling little plates. And if you spend a certain amount of money at your meal, you get little tokens to try a claw game. Maybe I was there at a little slow time, but there was not a ton of variety on the conveyor belt. In this case, ordering off the tablet would be a good idea. I also was recently at the soft opening of Kura Revolving Sushi off 69/116 in Fishers. I went when they were extremely busy, but they had a large selection, and all their plates are the same price (just different amounts of contents). Which to me is defintely an easier way if you are trying to keep track of how much you are spending. But if it doesn't matter to you -- have at it and have fun! #sushi #yum #ReviewsByRL

Went here a couple of times. We enjoyed both times - the second time we went, we did the ayce (all you can eat) special they had, but we preferred our first time, when we just went for regular dinner. Ayce is great for the price, but sushi you order from the kitchen took forever (even though it was a slow day). Overall, for a sushi craving, we will be back! I wouldn't go with a large group (unless you are okay with splitting up.

All aboard the sushi train at this station in Westfield! From the conveyor belt , we had spicy shrimp sushi, spicy scallop sushi and grandson's favorite, macarons! Ordering from the iPad we had chicken fried rice, chicken skewers and potstickers . These all arrived via train delivered to our booth. Everything was really good. Attentive and helpful service from our waiter including bringing the little guy some chopsticks helpers! At the end of the meal, he got a coin to get a prize from the toy machines up front. Lots of fun! Only beer on the menu if you are looking for something else.

Tempura appetizer, house salad, surf and turf roll, sunshine roll and tuna nigiri.

I order take out from Sushi Station (usually once a week) and I have always the freshest fish. And they're very reasonably priced!

Dinner option includes salmon, lamb, edamame, etc. that are not available during lunch. So I decided to try the $15.99 dinner bowl. Unlike other customers, I used a food glove which the restaurant should require as people more than likely do not wash their hands before touching the buffet utensils which was placed on top of the raw food. Oh, there are petite sample spoons to the right of the sauces to taste them; I liked the dragon sauce which I was told taste like sweet chili sauce. I also got the gluten-free garlic oil with parsley. They have seasoning options too so I tried the Cajun. I chose the fried rice with egg, salmon, white fish, chicken, beef, lamb and 2 eggs as my proteins. I selected chives, zucchini, mushrooms, onions, Napa, and bell peppers. Some food signs were not facing the customers. Some Hibachi staff wore face masks to stir fry the entrees. After I bit into an eggshell, I did not enjoy my food as much. I wanted more Cajun seasoning but still lacked a tasty flavor. There is less waste of dropped food if have the taller side of the bowl closer to you. Meal came with a fortune cookie. I wanted a unique Asian buffet at a reasonable price. I am glad I tried it after someone recommended and told me how the Hichabi worked. I might return someday and ask for a special request of fried rice withOUT egg.

She explained how it all worked, and encouraged us to load up the bowl as much as we could. The food looked fresh, and was constantly being refreshed. If you aren't prepared, the sight of the raw meat going in a bowl may make you queasy. Make sure to not load up too much on the veggies and noodles to save room for the protein. The food came out as it was finished, so my friend got hers first. It's a lot of food, and was delicious. I have plenty for another meal or two. The restaurant also was super busy on a Friday night, so be prepared for a small dinner wait.

When we arrived for our midafternoon reservation, we appeared to be the only customers in the restaurant. Others arrived after we were seated and were seated at the regular tables. A group of three were seated at a hibachi table. There seemed to be confusion about which hibachi table we were supposed to be seated, and the hostess asked if our entire group was going to be there. We assured her that everyone was there and in fact walking in the door at that moment. We were seated around two hibachi grills that were side-by-side, so all 16 of us were sitting together in a big square around the two grills. We sat with 8 men on one side and 8 women on the other. A few of us order vegetable hibachi, others ordered chicken hibachi, and a few ordered steak. The server seemed put out with us as soon as he started taking orders. He explained that it would be easier if we rearranged our seating and said that his order pad was like a map, and he even showed us that there were 16 squares around the tables and he would have to write on each square if we had different orders. We didn't want to change our seating arrangement, and he seemed visibly annoyed with us. Service was fairly slow, and when the server started bringing our soup we didn't have silverware or napkins. We had to ask for silverware and he seemed surprised that we were asking. The hibachi chefs were great! Definitely the best part of our experience. They were cheerful and engaged well with everyone. They put on an entertaining show. As for the food, I would say that it was just ok. The fried rice lacked flavor and was fairly greasy. The noodles too, had absorbed quite a bit of oil. The vegetables were good but servings were a little skimpy, especially considering that the rice was just plain rice without any added onions, garlic, peas, carrots, or other things that are usually added to fried rice. More vegetables on the grill would have been appreciated. The chef had grilled a large mound of rice and large mound of noodles but much smaller amount of vegetables. The chicken and steak were good. A few in our group also ordered sushi and they enjoyed it. The restaurant was very attractive, with nice decor.
