I come here at least once a week! Today, I had the Hibachi Steak (NY strip steak) Lunch special with a philly roll (smoked salmon & cream cheese). I added avocado. It was all very delicious! I really appreciate that there's a small sushi shop right next to the kung fu tea in cherry hill - to me, this is a perfect combination if you just want to grab a quick take out for home. I think the prices are also very fair, and two rolls are usually enough to fill me up. I live five minutes away, so sometimes I call ahead, but other times I just wait for my order as I'm waiting for my bubble tea next door anyways since the service is pretty quick. Most of the times I opt to get the Crunchy Spicy Tuna Roll or the Spicy White Tuna Roll. I've tried the Spicy Tuna Sashimi Salad as well, and it tastes pretty good. As for the rest of the menu - they have all the traditional rolls that you would at any restaurant. They also have sushi burritos, which seems like a popular item from what I've seen with people dining in. I was really craving sushi the other night so we decided to try Sushi To Go after driving by it all the time on Haddonfield Rd. We ordered several rolls for reasonable prices - most are around $5 unless you get a special roll then they range from $8-$10. My favorites were the fried lobster (lobster tempura, cream cheese and avocado) and the dragon roll (grilled eel and avocado). I thought the sushi was decent for a take our place and seemed very fresh. The service was great - I ordered on the phone and the woman was very friendly and we didn't wait at all picking up the sushi at the restaurant. You can also get it delivered or dine in as they have a few tables inside and out. The location is very convenient to get to and there is plenty of parking. Before coming here I was very skeptical. The words "sushi" and "to go" don't go together. Upon arriving to the store it looked very modern and clean. I'm going to break down this review into two parts: 1. Efficiency 5/5 I ordered the sashimi regular and spicy tuna roll and ten minutes later it was done and ready for me. I was in and out. 2. Taste 3/5 The rolls are better than most to go places but the sashimi was cut very thick and was hard to eat. Sashimi should be sliced thin and melt in your mouth. Normally we love sushi to go and especially love their hibachi meals. Unfortunately, our last order from them was not so good. The fried rice didn't really seem all that fried, but, more importantly... I think the shrimp was bad! It was extremely mushy, which could be a sign that the shrimp was bad. We ordered from here on Door Dash and the order was completely messed up! We paid $11 for a Kani Seaweed salad...yet they forgot the seaweed! We paid $11 for a spicy tuna burrito and they forgot the guacamole that was supposed to be inside it...another expensive ingredient. The two shrimp tempura rolls we ordered were completely broken apart when the container was opened. And the regular Kani salad we got was so bland. I've been to the Marlton and Voorhees locations countless times and it's always tasted good. I have no clue why this location forgot so many ingredients and the food tasted bad, but I will never be returning. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed by the time we received our food, so we couldn't call them to address the issues. And Door Dash customer service was horrible. PS This restaurant uses their own employees to deliver with various food delivery companies (like Door Dash), so I'm annoyed that we tipped nicely and no one could take a minute to ensure our order was correct. read more

Let me start off by saying, this is not a high-end sushi restaurant. Don't come here if you want amazing and super fresh A-grade sushi. I got a 3 roll lunch special and the sushi tasted good. I wasn't expecting anything super special, but it did exceed my expectations. My only two issues are that the salad wasn't the best (wilted or watery lettuce) and that the sushi wasn't as cold as I would've liked it to be. It wasn't warm, but it was definitely waiting for me long enough to match the temperature of the restaurant. Though I did not dine in, my overall impression of the restaurant's cleanliness was good. Sushi to go is by far one of the best sushi places in the area. They are convenient, consistent, and affordable! They have sushi burritos which are very good and very filling (sometimes even half is enough), and one of my favorite things on the menu to get. The rolls are also good, and they offer a variety including vegetarian. The fish is good quality and fresh all the time. As for apps, the gyoza and miso soup are among the best. The miso is always fresh, hot and delicious (great for a cold, or even to warm up on a cold day). The customer service here is great, they are fast - even if you order close to closing. Tried this place today and I like it. It's a small fast food sushi place with a variety of food ranging from small appetizers, hibachi entrees, sushi, sushi burritos, sashimi, noodles, and more. The service was good and the wait time was less then 10 minutes. It was a bit busy when I went but it was worth the wait. I ordered the tempura shrimp sushi burrito. Going to see some family in philly and stopped by to get some bubble tea when I saw Sushi To Go. They still had their grand opening sign up so I assume they opened not too long ago. I had normal expectations since it was just a take out spot but the sushi was surprisingly very fresh!! I ordered 4 rolls for the two of us. The eel roll was delicious and the spider roll was nice and crispy. Philly roll was creamy and decadent. They have a huge selection on the menu and even have sushi burritos. This place is my family's go to place for good takeout sushi! The quality is always good and the staff is so nice. We place big orders (family of 4) so we find it easier to order in person so we can keep track of everything. The lunch specials are pretty good and moderately filling. I'm fan of the shrimp tempura roll and the spicy tuna. They always give us some of those cute sushi lollipops when we go. The location is also great! I just had, hands down, the worst sushi I have ever eaten. The rice was overcooked and the sushi roll ingredients were tasteless. The pickled ginger (which could've at least jazzed it up a little) was such a measly amount, it would fit in a thimble and still have room for something else. The spring rolls tasted like they'd been frozen before being cooked--tough crust and not at all flaky. The inside was lukewarm and mushy, tasted like potatoes or something.
