The food was fabulous! We had an amazing server and the food came out quickly even tho it was packed! We're vegetarian and had the vege roll, sweet potato roll, and the vege tempura. 1000% would come back here again

I really enjoyed my dining experience here. The sushi chef was very sweet and made all of his food with love. This place is small and packs up pretty quickly. The roll was tightly wrapped and it was very tasty. I appreciate that -Han made my day with the hamachi Kama, it was delicious! All in all this is a No frills, family run business. When it's just one person making all of the food it's just important to have some patience, so I had a chance to speak with the locals around me, and had a great time.

I'm actually surprised I've never reviewed this restaurant before. This is one of my go-to restaurants when I am on Clearwater Beach. It's a small place but the food is absolutely the freshest. The Tsu is knowledgeable very friendly and interactive. I'm glad they made it through the pandemic. They're always up for making suggestions on what you may like and today I tried unfiltered sake which was pretty adventurous for me and it was fabulous. The Chirachi was beautiful. (See pic). The to-go orders I've ever had were accurate I actually don't even have to check my bag when I'm ordering.

Super COZY and hidden gem sushi spot! And by cozy I mean very small but comfortable at the same time! We sat down and were immediately greeted and we ordered two beers (they serve local beers!!) and got an order of edamame with yum-yum sauce on the side! Then we went ahead and ordered the corona roll and the spicy tuna roll (a staple that I try at every sushi restaurant)! Both were yummy and enough to fill up my boyfriend and I! I honestly felt like a local when I went in and definitely will return!

Best sushi i've had and at a very reasonable price. Not to mention, the sushi was beautifully prepared. Staff was all very friendly and attentive, we had wonderful conversation with both my waitress and the chef preparing our meal. The place has limited seating because it's a small local joint, but definitely worth the visit. We look forward to coming back here!

What a great find for sushi ! Probably the best, over all, tasting sushi I have had in a while. I travel around the country for business and have visited many sushi restaurants and they don't compare to Sushi Tu. Friendly and attentive servers When we arrived before 5pm, we were the first patrons which made me a little nervous. However, within a short time the place starting filling up. The restaurant is located in a strip mall and is kinda small with limited seating, so go early. My table tried 3 different rolls and as well as nigiri.

Very very delicious and reasonably priced!!! Staff were very friendly and attentive. We got various nigiri, the soft shell crab, and the volcano roll... Definitely a must try!

We had the best experience at Sushi Tu! Came on a Sunday night & was greeted right away. We spent the evening talking to the personable Sushi Chef, Phon. We told him what we liked and he created custom sushi rolls & recommendations based on what we told him. The sushi is the best we've had in the area and we've been looking for 3 years since moving to the area! This is now our go to sushi place & we have to drive 35 mins to get there. We will definitely be back! Thank you Sushi Tu & Phon for a wonderful experience. We will definitely be back!

It's a level of elegance we wanted…read more The overall look from the entrance, the food, and the gorgeous patio is a must add to your list when in Clearwater! It was crazy hot so we couldn't sit on the patio but at sunset it was still a stunning view. Kalby was an absolute pleasure to be serviced by. She was attentive and used her talents to help recommend entrees from the menu. Our starter was the bulgogi skewers which were perfectly balanced with sweet and Korean spice. The edamame was our least favorite dish. I did discuss this with kalby and the manager. The idea was there but poor execution. The gochujang sea salt...the gochujang just wasn't there and once you ate that top layer all you got was oily edamame, so much oil...you wouldn't need chapstick for the rest of the day. Then wins though came from the cocktails. Ours were delicious and my old fashion was spot on. Also in the win was the sunset sushi, beautiful and fantastic, along with Korean crispy chicken. The peanut sauce was the perfect balance to that meal. Now...what we also loved that should be permanently on the menu was the mochi. We had 4 of them and they were wonderful! Everyone should be able to experience these. But ocean hai on your list as a must try place for sure.

Oh my gawd! This place is 10/10!…read more I originally ate here years ago with my man and our friends so I knew the food was good but didn't remember how good until my visit recently. The first night we came, it was so packed that we sat at the bar and it was crazy because the bar tender remembered me from years ago and was like " I will always remember you because of your height and hair and butterfly tattoos" lol. We ordered baked oysters, cold peel n eat shrimp with old bay seasoning for starters and my little one loves shrimp. For dinner I ordered the shrimp scampi and a cheese pizza for my princess who ate 5 pieces . She said it was delicious. The scampi was hands down the best I've had outside of Italy which I just recently visited. Ambiance is so chill and there is tons of seating inside and outside. I will be back and this will forever be my spot when in Clearwater.

Avoid the frozen lemonade--it contains an excessive amount of sugar and is far from worth the cost. Our bill came to $150.78 for a small crab sandwich with fries, a small bowl of shrimp, and a piece of bread with a topping. The portions were small, and the quality did not justify the price. Overall, the meal felt severely overpriced, and I left feeling that I did not receive good value for the money spent. I would not recommend this restaurant.

Our party included a rambunctious three-year-old and three other children; the youngest was 1 year old and the oldest was 89. We took the advice of the staff and pre-ordered the bruschetta appetizer to tide us over until entrees arrived. Waitstaff was fabulous!! Jonas saw and tended to every need, in addition to making each diner (including the children) feel like royalty. His patient professionalism subtly taught how things go in white-tablecloth restaurants. Some ordered sushi (and ate every scrap), some ordered the filet or the New York Strip, some ordered other specials (pistachio-crusted hogfish, grilled Red Snapper (SO GOOD!!), cedar plank salmon, Island Way-prepared snapper ~ all pronounced delicious! Children ordered grilled chicken and buttered noodles and ate every smidge. Food was served hot and promptly. We had backup games prepared but we really only had to bring out Round 1 of those! Kudos to Island Way and Jonas for our spectacular meal!! Notes: Children's menus were a hit, but we had to grab crayons from the car. Take some crayons if you have kiddies. Valet parking is complementary; tips are appreciated. We could have skipped the bruschetta. It was okay, but not spectacular. Still, it did help some of our young adults handle the wait for the main courses. We'll be back next year ~ and we'll ask for Jonas! (Our party had two servers, and the other server was also great, but I didn't catch his name.)

We were looking for a place where we could watch the sunset, so we were really excited to eat here…read more We had a reservation for 7:45 PM, but when we arrived it was raining, so they had to move everyone inside. We weren't seated until around 8:20 PM. The restaurant was extremely busy. They had a separate gluten-free menu which was nice. Once we were seated, it took a while for our waitress to come over, but we understood because of how crowded it was. Unfortunately, when she did come to the table, she seemed extremely rushed and it came across a little rude. I had several questions about gluten-free precautions, and every time I asked something she quickly said "yes" without really explaining. We ordered the Millionaire Bacon, oysters and the octopus as appetizers since both were listed on the gluten-free menu. I specifically explained that both needed to be prepared gluten-free. On the menu, it even notes in parentheses what needs to be removed to make certain dishes gluten-free. When the appetizers arrived, I noticed the octopus still had the red sauce that the menu said must be removed. I stopped our waitress as she rushed by, and she quickly said it was gluten-free and walked away. My husband had just put some in his plate when the server, who had brought the food out, came back and asked if we had eaten any yet because it had not been made gluten-free. He immediately took it back and returned with a gluten free one. When I mentioned it to our waitress, though, she kind of just shrugged it off. For dinner, I had the seafood bowl, and my daughter, who also eats gluten-free, had the salmon with potatoes au gratin. My son and his girlfriend got sushi, and my husband had the fish Clearwater style. Everything looked great when it came out, and I double-checked that my meal was gluten-free. The server confirmed it was. Overall, the food tasted really good. The only issue was my daughter's potatoes au gratin there was so much grease pooled on top that she ended up not eating it because they were basically inedible and her salmon was over cooked and had zero seasoning. Overall, our meal was good. The restaurant was packed, and we were disappointed that we missed the chance to sit outside and watch the sunset, but that was obviously due to the rain and not the restaurant's fault.
