My dad immediately lowered the volume without any issue. After that, we noticed the owner repeatedly looking at us and speaking to the waiter about the situation. Feeling uncomfortable, my dad asked if everything was okay. The owner's response was unexpectedly rude and confrontational. He aggressively told my dad to turn off the phone, even though the volume had already been lowered and my dad was complying. The interaction felt hostile and intimidating. From that point on, we felt extremely uncomfortable. The owner continued to stare at us and discuss the situation with staff while we were trying to finish our meal. Rather than stay and enjoy the rest of our dinner, we decided to leave. In more than 10 years of dining here, we have never experienced anything like this. We understand that noise complaints can happen and would have gladly cooperated, as we already did. What was upsetting was the way the situation was handled by the owner. Long-time customers should be treated with respect, and unfortunately, that was not our experience. Because of how we were treated, we will not be returning.
