Atmosphere is like fast food restaurant. I saw review was good. So I and my husband went. We ordered regular chirashi, shrimp tempura roll and deep fried eel roll. Food was just okay.

My husband found this spot on Yelp and saw that they seemed new so we wanted to check it out and support a local business and we are so glad we did. We placed an online order through their website. The prices for their rolls are so reasonable compared to other Bay Area sushi restaurants!! I chose the EE Roll and the baked scallop roll. The quality of the sushi tasted very fresh. I was having a rough morning but the food really picked up my spirits! The sauces were really well balanced, the crispy tempura bits were crispy without being oily. And both rolls were very filling. I'd love to come back and check out the chirashi bowl! We'll definitely be back because you can't beat the price point especially with this level of quality!

Yes, everything previously mentioned has been accurate...reasonably priced, fresh & larger slices of fish and friendly staff. During a mid afternoon lunch, the staff was attentive and genuine in ensuring their guests are enjoying their meal. The owner had joined me in watching the World Cup match and offered a beverage on the house. Momma didn't raise no fool so I obliged. Bento boxes,if that's your thing, were not on the menu but otherwise service and value was good at EE.

This place is amazing! We saw a new place had opened up and decided to try it after seeing the good reviews and the cute cat decor. They gave us drinks on the house immediately, were super friendly, and gave great recommendations! The chefs choice sashimi was delicious, fresh, and thickly cut. The sushi rolls were delicious as well. Would 100% recommend to my friends!

I was a little hesitant because of the strip mall, but EE sushi doesn't disappoint. Large portions, fresh fish, amazing prices. We tried 12 things and my favorite were the Monster roll and hamachi jalapeno. Everything was fresh amazing and service was excellent

Great service, both waitress were very nice. Sushi was tasty and reasonably priced. It's clean and well lit. The sushi can take a while if there are a lot of people. However, it's worth the wait. It's grand opening now, so drinks are on the house.

I am so happy we decided to try this place. When you walk in you are greeted by friendly staff in a clean environment. Their quality of fish was great. Incredible flavors, while keeping fresh, high quality fish as the focus. Very generous helpings of fish, while not over doing it. Generous helpings of wasabi!( I really enjoyed that.) All that to say: 10/10 Nigiri We also ordered sashimi of the Tuna and Yellowtail because we enjoyed it so much. Great quality. Again 10/10 I would rate the fried eel roll 7/10. The spicy tuna inside was not my favorite, and it was hard to separate. The service provided by the server was amazing, she offered us some of their Tea on the house. We didn't expect that, so that was very nice of her. The passionfruit tea was great! 10/10 We will be back for more! Thank you for having us!

We enjoyed the sashimi and hand rolls. Great prices on beer. I'll definitely be returning often.

We tried EE on Sunday and were delighted by the yummy sushi! IT was fresh, great taste and nice presentation. We ordered the Honey walnut roll, spicy tuna and the red dragon. My favorite was the honey walnut and red dragon but all three were delicious. They gave us Complimentary soda which was a nice touch. Only a few improvements: First, the smell of cleaning supplies was VERY strong. Nice to know it's sanitary but was hit hard when we walked in. Second, the front door was left open so some flies coming and going. Easy fix close the door. Third, heat the edamame. It was good but cold and no salt. All easy things to a brand new restaurant to fix. The prices and food were great. We will be back.

Once again you cannot beat this place. The chef makes you feel like your family . Comes out here and asks you all how the food is and sit down and have a drink with you and then bullshit with you like you at your uncle's house amazing. Back again on Friday night to spend with my new friends place

This place just recently opened across the street from us, as I sushi lover, I had to try! It was good pricing for the size & taste of the rolls!! The EE roll was so good! However, I ordered with NO avocado, & our other roll had avocado unfortunately... I will definitely come back to try other rolls, but hopefully they read the preferences this time. Thank you!

But after weighing the price of the all-you-can-eat vs ordering exactly what we were craving a la carte, we decided to just order off the menu, which was the smart move since it was much less expensive and we ended up full. The place is casual and a little not-fancy decor or ambiance wise. You wouldn't bring anyone here you wanted to impress. . .but the food is what's important, right? The sushi was good! The rolls were large, the options were creative, and everything was tasty and met expectations. I wouldn't say it's elevated sushi, where there are layers to the flavors and you go "wow". But you get your sushi and see the portions are a good size and are happy that you get to dig in and eat satisfying sushi. I'd come back here again, especially for casual sushi where you want good value. Service was good as well - again, nothing fancy or overly attentive, but perfectly adequate for the level of restaurant. Also, it came pretty quickly, which was a plus as well (it wasn't that crowded when we went).

We grabbed the menus ourselves from a nearby table. We originally wanted to try their AYCE, but since the whole table had to participate, and one of us wasn't that hungry, we decided to order a la carte. We're glad we did. The 3 of us were already stuffed after sharing an appetizer and 4 signature rolls. The sweet potato tempura came out piping hot; the batter wasn't too thick. While the dipping sauce lacked flavor, the dish was still ok, and not too oily. We're impressed by the number of signature rolls they offered, and tried to pick something we hadn't seen at other sushi restaurants. My favorite was the lobster tail tempura that came with the Boujee rolls. It was tasty with a light batter. The plating was beautiful. The torched salmon, shrimp tempura and spicy tuna were good as well, but I didn't really see any real crab inside. The Skittles roll was pretty delicious, too. I liked that it had unagi, crab, tobiko, and avocado among other things. The Umami roll also had unagi and carb, but the salmon skin and bonito flakes were what made the roll special. My daughter didn't care for the salmon skin, though. The Black Mamba was interesting if you liked softshell crab. I didn't care for the macadamia nuts, though. Portion size was huge. However, their rolls weren't rolled very tightly nor cut evenly, and their rice was on the sweeter side as other Yelpers had mentioned. Since most of the rolls had similar sauces, they kind of tasted very similar, despite the different ingredients. I wouldn't mind coming back again to try other items on their menu when I'm in the area.

They have a wide variety of offerings, which made it hard to decide what to order. We decided on the edemame, chicken teriyaki & tempura bento subbed with sashimi, and 2 of their special nigiris. Everything was really good. I loved the chicken teriyaki. The teriyaki sauce wasn't too sweet, and the chicken was seasoned. It's been a while since I've had good teriyaki chicken! The sashimi came with 2 pieces of tuna and 2 pieces of salmon, which were fine, decent size and tasted fresh. The shrimp tempura had a unique breading, not the typical panko, and it was so crunchy. The shrimp seemed more like a prawn. It was much larger and had great freshness and sweetness. Really good! The special nigiris we ordered were the aburi sake toro & engawa yuzu. In general, I thought the fish pieces were pretty skinny. Good rice to fish ratio tho. The salmon toro would probably be better with less sauce. It overpowered the fish, and I couldn't enjoy the fattiness of the salmon. The engawa was supposed to be torched, but it wasn't. It was still good tho. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'll definitely be back to try more items.

Anywho, we ordered a variety of items to try: new stamina don, clam chowder croquette, kani chirashi bento, and a salmon kama bento. Regarding the food: New stamina don came with slice beef, sliced beef tongue, braised pork, poached egg, and kimchi over rice. The sliced beef was cooked to rare, and the braised pork was very tender. The rice also came with the poached egg, kewpie mayo and a lemon, mixing it all together with the rice made it have a nice creamy flavor. Clam chowder croquette was something I have never heard of before, so I definitely wanted to try it. This was delicious, would definitely get it again. A fried crispy croquette with clam chowder in it but also some mashed potatoes and tonkotsu sauce on top. Kani chirashi bento had snow crab, fish roe over rice, rolled egg omelette, sashimi, fried boneless chicken, and edamame, blistered tomatoes and shisito peppers with pickles. The sashimi came with 4 pieces, 2 tuna and 2 salmon. the tuna was a little fishy but the soy sauce helped. The salmon was actually pretty good - good fattiness. The fried chicken was fine, a few pieces were dry. Overall this bento was good. Salmon Kama bento is salmon collar over rice, fried boneless chicken, takoyaki and edamame, blistered tomatoes and shisito peppers with pickles. The salmon collar needed some salt in my opinion. For the food overall, it was a little bit under seasoned for me but for portion, price and quality are good.

I'll admit it might have just been the specific dishes we ordered, but the food overall missed the mark. On a positive note, the service was incredibly fast and the staff was very nice! However, the food left a lot to be desired. We got the wagyu beef plate, and the meat was unfortunately chewy and heavily over-salted. We also ordered the seared salmon ikura bowl, which wasn't anything special and really lacked flavor. The bowl was quite dry, and I kept wishing it came with some sort of sauce to tie everything together. Even the shishito peppers were surprisingly bland. While I appreciate the great service, the food just didn't live up to the hype for me.
