On my second to last visit, I noticed that the quality of the menu items I usually ordered ( Guava Roll, used to be my favorite roll) was not the same. The rolls fell apart and honestly it just did not taste the same. Not to mention...

that they had increase the price of the menu items. My whole family fell ill, but we just thought it was a one time thing. Two weeks later we had sushi cravings again. We ordered our usuals and during the night my boy fell ill again vomiting and my daughter spent the night in the bathroom as well. Not going back. Hurts cause now my kids that used to love sushi are terrified of eating it ever again.

I love the the Tropical Tuna, Sishiato Salad, and a wide Keto menu. The shrimp tempura rolls are great. @Michel, @Betsy, @yorley do a fantastic job. Will come back! highly recommended

Start with my appetizer, a tropical tuna; fried plantain with spicy tuna on top. It was delicious with a little sweetness from the ell sauce. Avocado Tartar is on the top of my "must order" list. Fresh avocado you could tell from...

the color. Flavor was on point with enough ponzu sauce. Not too sour, not too light. Crispy shallot and red onion alsomake this dish so flavorful. Weston roll with shrimp temp, eel, and cream cream inside. Top with tuna, avocado, and seaweed salad. Good choice but nothing special or different from other sushi places. Maui roll was rock!!!! So delicious with spicy mayo, crab, and masago mixed inside. Top with deep-fried shrimp & honey mustard sauce. Perfect for "no-raw" sushi eater. Couldn't end my review without dessert :) Oreo Tempura...yes it came with ice cream! Save some room for this guys. Worth every calories I promise you.

I am a sushi lover and I also love Bao Buns, so when I saw them on the menu together I was excited! I ordered the shrimp bao bun & the Mango breeze roll. I tried the bao buns first, the buns weren't as soft as I'm use to, the shrimp inside was good though. I would say if the buns were a bit softer, they would have been a 10/10. The sushi was also different than I'm use to, it doesn't taste like your typical sushi, like it doesn't have the sushi taste if that makes sense but for a girl that was hungry, it hit the spot. The mango breeze roll wasn't a bad choice to be honest it just didn't taste like what you would expect from a traditional sushi joint. The service that I experienced wasn't bad, they were very kind and helpful over the phone. Overall not a bad experience and this place seemed popular among the locals.

Sushiato offers a great variety of delicious sushi, rolls, and other food items on their menu. The rolls are fresh and of great quality any time I order. You can dine in or order to go, or delivery, and with presentation and the taste of their rolls, they never disappoint. The dine-in ambiance in the Weston location is modern and minimalistic, and the service performed well to serve your needs. But the food quality is the go-to because they never disappoint, and my family and I have gone to this place for many years in a row. I ordered a dragon roll, usually my go-to favorite, and it was well presented and was delicious, as usual. Stop by and try something new, yourself!

Tiger roll, looks nothing like the photo & not sure of pink color, that is cream cheese NOT salmon. Breading was sweet, wrong!

1st time ordering, we got Kaizo soup and BOGO Tiger roll and Alaskan roll. Soup was okay, not what you expect from a place with Sushi in the name. Lots of liquid good amount of veggies but sad on protein. Roger roll was horrible. Some sort of sweet breading, ZERO salmon, just wrong , Alaskan roll, meh not worth the price even on a bogo.

This place is absolutely delicious! Every roll I have ever tried here has been amazing. The rebellion roll is definitely one of my favorites. They also have great poke bowls and incredible desserts. The staff is super friendly and Sandra (the owner) is one of the nicest people ever. We love coming here.

This was my first time here and first time at a sushi Latino fusion restaurant. I must say I was pleasantly surprised. All of the choices we were served were very tasteful. The fusions and combinations of sushi rolls or sashimi were well blended and nicely presented. The flavors worked well together. Unfortunately I don't remember all the names of the rolls we had but if you look at the pictures in the menu on their website you might be like me. It all looks so good and you want to try it all hahaha. Also the service was friendly and correctly executed. This place is worth your visit if you are a sushi lover and curious to try some fusions. This is by far the most exquisite sushi I've ever had. This it's our second time here and it certainly won't be our last. Each roll that we had was unique and delicious with the flavors balanced to perfection. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the service was great!

This place was a bit on the pricier side. The drinks and sushi were all really good, and super tasty! The only thing is that it adds up quickly. We had two separate rolls and some appetizers but everything was super tasty and fresh! That was my fave part, it tasted like they had just made it! They also have some sauce that is to die for! Hidden gem! I've lived in weston forever but never came to this place! I went with a friend and there was only one other couple in the restaurant. The food was great, the atmosphere was very fun and hip! Our server was very attentive and the sushi was good! I will be back!

Holy [SUSHIATO] , the sushi(s), the experience, the ambiance & the service was a 10/10 :) My friend suggested we go here after class :) Besides, can't go wrong with Sushi Night! [What did I do during class time though ...? ] I thought of Sushi. Then I browsed through the menu on their website and a made list with my friend. That way once we get there, we order right away hehe. Once my friend and I got there, we were greeted by a guy, who happened to end up being our waiter. He told us we could sit anywhere we liked. My friend and I found a seating across the Sushi bar. The lovely waiter asked, " can I get any of two drinks ?" and I said, "We would like to. start off with water, please" :) While the lovely waiter went to get water for us. I did some browsing around the place with my eyes. The restaurant is very cute and cozy inside. They had interesting lights hanging from the ceiling (in a cool way). Adorable wall full of planters. I noticed they had 6 feet away stickers on the floor. The tables were kept at a distance. The place provided hand sanitizer. As always wearing mask is required before entering the place. The waiter came back with our waters. We said to him, "thank you" and will never forget it, the sweet waiter said, "My pleasure" -- very polite ! He then took our orders... behold I pulled my paper out of my wallet that had what my friend and I wanted to order! By the way, if you want the menu, you would need your phone to scan the QR Code, in which they pasted on the corner of the table. Anywaysss... We ordered (I listed what is in it via. Menu they have Online): #1 Sushiato Roll (Riceless) - $20 --- Salmon, tuna, white fish, krab, cream cheese & Masago, fried to perfection, with eel sauce on top - 8 Pieces #2 Tom-Su Special (Riceless) - $22 (We chose: Krab) --- Your selection of krab, tuna, salmon or steamed shrimp with avocado, cilantro & red onion wrapped in cucumber with ponzu sauce - 6 Pieces #3 Salmon Deluxe (Riceless) - $16 --- Krab salad, avocado & asparagus wrapped in salmon with onion dressing on top - 10 Pieces #4 Ohana Roll (Riceless) - $20 ---Spicy tuna, krab chips, avocado, and cream cheese with scallions, tobiko, and sweet chili sauce, fried to perfection - 8 Pieces $$ Sushiato's sushi(s) can be pricey $$ After the waiter took our order, my friend asked him if the art pieces are for sale. His response was, "yes they are". The Arts is located in the back where the adorable wall of planters is. There is event Art once you enter inside. Arts such as: a cute apple decor (can be used like a paper weight, hehe), small sculptors , and paintings too :) My thought about the sushi(s) was that they were presented nicely, fresh looking, and well I could not wait to dig in, hehe. I tried the Ohana Roll first (crunchy, tasted like chicken a bit lol), then the Salmon Deluxe (Delicious!), next Tom-su Special (The sauce was good with the cucumber for sure), and lastly, the Sushiato (Crunchy -- indeed was fried to perfection). I would rank my faves: #1 Salmon Deluxe #2 Tom-Su Special #3 Sushiato #4 Ohana Overall, I had a great time devouring the delicious sushi(s). It is always a fun experience when you have great company (my friend). I would definitely come back here with my friend, my mom, or even my boyfriend to try out other sushi(s) and dishes they have! I accidentally stumbled upon Sushiato on Instagram and decided it would be a perfect spot for dinner with my sushi-loving best friend after scrolling through their photos. We were both so excited to go that we even wrote out a list of sushi rolls we intended to try (talk about excitement)! Upon entry, my friend and I were greeted promptly and informed that we could sit anywhere we liked. All tables appeared clean, were spaced 6-ft apart, and featured scannable menus. We opted for a larger 4-seater table because we expected to order quite a bit of sushi rolls - hehe! Taking a look around the venue, I noticed the restaurant's interesting artistic flare. Sculptures of cherries, insects, and ice cream cones were featured in various spots around the restaurant. Modern lights hung from the ceilings, and white beautifully blossomed orchids were perched by the sushi bar. After complimenting Suchiato's artistic decor, our waiter informed us that we could feel free to take a look around because all of their artwork is for sale! Our waiter was friendly and efficient. He kept a keen eye on our water glasses and even scrolled through Sushiato's physical menu to show my friend and me pictures and descriptions of Sushiato's most popular rolls, which we mentally noted for our next visit. We pulled out our list and proceeded to order their Sushiato Roll, Tom-su Special Roll (with krab), Salmon Deluxe Roll, and Ohana Roll. The service was quite quick, and we were brought our rolls 10-15 after ordering. While every roll was exquisite and worth it, my absolute favorite was their Salmon Deluxe Roll. For $16, I received 10 pieces of the most flavorful and addictive sushi roll I have ever tried. The taste of the krab melted in my mouth like butter. The onion dressing was a perfect complement to the krab salad and salmon in the roll. This roll was heavenly with or without soy sauce; I have never had a salmon roll as enjoyable as this one! I must have liked it a bit too much because I ended up eating 8 of the 10 pieces and left my friend only 2 (only because I felt I had to be generous - lol)! Although a bit pricy, the taste and quality of the rolls and the service were worth the experience! I also appreciate their abundance of riceless roll offerings - perfect high-protein rolls for those watching their carb intake! I definitely see myself returning to Sushiato in the future to order my beloved Salmon Deluxe Roll and splurging on some of their other popular rolls. *Update: lost a star because apparently you need reservations on a Friday to dine in despite all (save for two) tables being empty. No notice of this policy anywhere...

Waiters are very help and they have a separate menu with pictures of every item. Very good quality sushi, which most come with 10 pieces. Pricing for entries and sushi is between 14 to 20 dollars. Seating is limited due to size of restaurant, so no big groups unless u come before the crowd. read more

Meh! I was not impressed with the food or service. Overpriced for very mediore sushi. Service was ok. We ordered a bunch of rolls, Tartare Temptation, Gyozas and Ramen. The Ramen was the most satisfying. Ultimately, I will not be returning. read more

We expected a lot given the reviews here. The Chucky Fried roll (I think Im not getting the name right) was actually pretty good. It's tasty and kinda juicy. Although the tiger roll was dry and just tasted like the breaded crust. Not sure if it's the oil they are using to fry it but it wasn't great. Same with the volcano roll. Super dry and I thought there would be something else except baked Krab on top since it says seafood on the menu. Pretty overpriced for what it is. The temperature was freezing in here by the way. read more

This place is good, but a bit overpriced. The rolls are not well made, meaning when you pick them up they fall everywhere. Taste was quite good, but I've definitely had better. I believe the average cost for a roll was $18-20, which is very pricey so I did have high expectations. Still haven't decided whether or not I would come back, but if I do, I really hope to see the rolls be better kept together. read more

This was our first time here but it definitely won't be our last. The service was amazing. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The food, OMG the food! The flavor combinations of the rolls were so unique and delicious we wanted more. There are so many rolls to try we have to come back and try them all. We can eat anywhere, but Sushiato was a culinary experience. We wanted to try something new for our anniversary and we LOVED it! read more

I had high expectations for Sushiato after reading quite a few raving Yelp reviews, maybe too high. The restaurant is charming and has an interesting Latin-sushi concept. We had a nice, but sort of pricey and underwhelming, meal. I definitely recommend the Fire Balls appetizer as a unique and tasty appetizer. These morsels of tuna-wrapped tempura goat cheese balls with guava and pineapple topping are very rich and very sweet. I really enjoyed the warm-cold contrast of the tuna and goat cheese and its unexpected combination with the sweet fruit topping. We followed that up with the guava roll, edamame, and another roll that I can't remember. The guava roll is basically a Philadelphia roll with thin slices of tuna on top and a guava sauce. I liked it and would order it again, but not at the same meal again as the Fire Balls appetizer. Too much sweetness in one sitting. This is really a 3.5 star review. The sushi was fresh and well prepared, but a little pricey. The menu has both traditional and unique rolls. Service was friendly, welcoming and attentive, but definitely easier if you speak Spanish. read more

I had this place in my mind since i found it in Yelp. And it really impressed me. The service was magnificient im was craving sushi with sweet plantains and they have it on the menu. I went on my bday which one of my friend told the server and they sang happy bday, brought a dessert by the house and also put some dominican music (im dominican) i felt so welcoming in this place even though that we arrived almost at closing time. Ah-maz-ing sushi, we popped in for our Sushi date night and it was great! Reasonably priced, fresh and delicious! The Spicy salmon was a bit spicier then we had expected almost to hot to eat. The manager?/owner? Kept reaching over us to work with the art on the wall opposed to waiting for us to leave to do what she needed to do. Overall we had a nice evening. read more

If I could rate the food, management and service a 0 I would. I placed an order through Uber eats, with pictures and everything. I ended up receiving the wrong order and called about it. Management got on the phone and started giving me attitude saying I was wrong in what I ordered even though the picture did not resemble at all what I received. Finally after telling her I ordered $40 worth of food I cannot eat, she decided to personally come to my house to bring the food and while doing so, yell at me. I was seconds away from tossing the sushi in her face. She needs an attitude check. Lord help this restaurant if this is who runs it. read more

Best Sushi in town hands down. Nothing compares. Quality and freshness of their food is amazing. No need to go to Miami for great sushi any more! Great Costumer Service, great food and the best sushi in town. I recommend to try Tuna Crunch Roll, Hamachi Tartar and Tropical Tuna and Hamachi Jalape~o. We cant get enough of these. We get delivery through UberEats and preparation of food is always quick. On one of the orders a mistake was made and the restaurant send a staff member and delivered the food within minutes. Very Impressed. Go check them out. read more

This place is horrible, they're disrespectful and the way they speak to their costumer is horribly. I can't belive this place has 4 stars it should have a 1. They get mad over anything and let's not talk about the food. The rice was still and the fish didn't taste fresh. My family and I are huge sushi lovers and I can say that Shibuya in weston is probably the best sushi I had so far. Do not recommend. read more

Impromptu pop-in for lunch on a rainy Saturday after a run to the nearby Home Depot. What a pleasant surprise! Cute little spot with simple but stylish decor and comfy vibe and friendly service - and oh yes- the sushi is yummy!! There are some delicious salad and creative little plates, too. The Shushiato salad is an awesome blend of flavors and textures. The portions are also very generous. Great value. Looks like some great weekday lunch specials. (Skip Chipotle next door - come here). Cant wait to come back - and order to go - rain or shine. read more

OMG! I've found a NEW sushi spot! I can honestly say that the food here is just mouth watering. From the moment we walked in sushiato it was just warm and cozy. The staff was very attentive and quick to sit us down. If you plan on ordering a appetizer you must have the goat cheese fireballs. This magnificent dish is definitely unforgettable. I will also recommend the sushi salads which is also VERY yummy if your trying to stay healthy. Now the rolls here definitely stand out. The rolls that I tried and will also recommend was the moonlight roll, Dracula roll and a sweet plantains. My personal favorite out of the 3 was the moonlight. This roll was sweet and just tasted amazing with spicy mayo. Bravo Sushiato! read more

My favorite up and coming sushi place; and the most well executed Latin/sushi restaurant by far! Not only Latin inspired sushi, but compared to most sushi places in Broward.. this is still my favorite! First of all, the flavors work. Secondly, the rolls are generous with the protein and veggies. Super yummy:. Today I got a tamarindo roll, with an Alaskan roll. If you like simple rolls, they have options, good ones. If you like showcase level rolls, boy they got those. My first time there I eat the salmon on tostones and it was better than expected! More so,the customer service is fantastic! My order had a minor complication and it was resolved and my order came perfectly with a cute little dessert! It looked like a nutty fried Oreo, but it was a nutty dulce party! Super delicious loved it I'm hookeddd this is my sushi spot period Inside decor is okay.. wish it was cuter for night life cause the food is at that level! I order to my home and enjoy just as much if not more! read more

I've eaten here twice and both times the roll I get was very bland and way to much rice. I got a dragon roll and a shrimp tempura roll. I've never had to stop eating a roll because it has no flavor before. Even the California roll I got tasted weird. These are basic rolls I won't eat here again. read more

After eating at this restaurant I can actually say don't judge a restaurant by the Yelp review pictures. This place was a huge disappointment. I'm always looking for new sushi restaurants to try and the reviews on here convinced me it would be great. Boy, was I wrong... We entered the restaurant and were just looked at before I finally asked, "do we just sit anywhere?". The guy making the sushi just nodded his head and pointed towards the area where there was an empty table. Not the warmest of welcomes. Anyways, very trendy looking and tiny, which I liked. We checked out the menu and instantly became excited about the "fire balls". Goat cheese croquettes are my absolute fave. I get them whenever I see them on the menu. These were not good. They were served cold with a guava sauce on top and pineapple sauce. Neither one of the sauces paired well with the croquettes. As for our sushi. We ordered the guava roll and I had the Sunrise roll. The combination of the ingredients did not go well together. It even tasted a little sour. The guava roll was a little better than mine, but not good enough. We ate half of each roll, paid for the bill, and got out of there as quickly as possible. Maybe we ordered the wrong rolls or maybe they were just having a bad day. Whatever it was, it made us not want to ever give Sushiato a second chance. After a $60.00 half dinner, we ended up at a drive-thru window. read more

Sushi is yummy! I had the tinker bell roll. Ceviche Samba is very tasty in fact so tasty it's been the best I've had in a while. My husband loved his also it had plantains on and in it. The wine was even good. Miso was yummy too! Everything was great. If you go before 7 it's a great deal they have half priced special rolls and a drink happy hour with great house wine. Small spot but has a modern, fun design. The fish was fresh and service was good. The reason I'm rating this place lower is because they charge 17 for a roll which is a bit steep for basic sushi rolls....and most of the rolls are almost identical....cream cheese seems to be an ongoing theme on the menu. If this place had more variety and a better price point I'd rate it higher. read more

The place is clean and nicely decorated but the food is average and it is very, very expensive for what you get. My rolls were little thicker than paper and I paid almost a dollar per piece. I spent 50 bucks and left hungry. Was little upset when I saw what they give you for all the money you leave there. Won't go back and don't recommend it unless you like to waste your money. read more

The bulgogi was seasoned well and they included a number of banchan which all tasted fresh. I asked for lettuce to wrap my bulgogi with as that's common in South Korea but here it is a $4 upcharge for lettuce. The food did hit the spot so we were all satisfied with the quality of the food and will likely return.

We had just finished a surprisingly great sampling of sushi rolls, and were discussing how we needed to bring some friends to this trendy-looking new place. This is what we had hoped for, ending up at Sushiato only because it was a new sushi place listed on a popular restaurant review website. What a great find we had made, and we never would have come here if we didn't have a voucher for $25 off $50 that we bought on (unnamed website). Our satisfaction of having found a great new sushi place became irretrievably lost once the check came. When we showed our server our VALID discount certificate, he told us they weren't accepting them. The manager then came over and gave us some story about not giving (unnamed restaurant website dot com) permission to sell these $25 certificates on their website. Or, "he told them to remove them a week ago". Whatever. It is his right to offer or not offer discounts or dining certificates. I understand that. But then, to just inform us that he isn't accepting the certificates and expect us to be happy about having made the trip to Weston from Hollywood is simply pretentious. We asked him to offer us some kind of concession-anything-like a 20 or 25% discount (which would have been only a $10-$15 reduction of the bill) and he refused! Really? We just got through telling you what a nice experience we had and you want to discard a potential repeat customer over 10 dollars??? I would have been completely satisfied, with just a small concession in place of the $25 certificate! In full disclosure, he did offer us a "free glass of wine", but we had already finished dinner and were ready to leave. So, go here if you want to be taken for granted as a customer. Service was good but food was not. The rice was hard and dry, the dumplings were bland and watery and it was not worth what we paid. I was so excited to eat here because of all the positive reviews but I am completely disappointed. Ugh! read more

The staff is really nice. The food however wasn't very good. I ordered chicken fried rice and the rice was overcooked and the chicken was hard. The pot stickers were really good, but the entre I ordered was not appetizing at all. read more

I had a somewhat difficult experience ordering over the phone due to a language barrier. Their food was so-so, especially for the price. This is the closest sushi restaurant to my in-laws, otherwise, I would go elsewhere. read more
