Service was great, I like how you have the dinning area setup and the hot pot was amazing!!! Overall awesome place and good time!!! Highly recommend!!!

The place was not too crowded. The staff was very attentive and friendly. The food came out very quickly. We ordered the Korean beef, shrimp, chicken and pork belly. Everything was very fresh and delicious. It was also very clean. I really enjoyed my time there.

Enjoying hot pot and Korean barbecue tonight .

This is our normal spot when we want great food, fresh, friendly service, and a casual atmosphere. Our server today was. Tiffanie and she was excellent. Thank you for another fun filled fantastic meal.

This is my new favorite Korean BBQ and hot pot restaurant! The food is of nice quality, the servers are top notch and the help-yourself bar is stocked full of delicious items. Although unexpected at a Korean BBQ, the fried chicken wings were fantastic! I also appreciated that in the self-serve area they have some "recipe" suggestions for making your own sauces. Don't miss the Szechuan Hot Pot, if you like spicy things... it was really good.

great hotpot and kbbq spot!! they have an ipad where u can order and food comes in fast. lots of options for condiments that u can choose from like buffet style of banchan.

Came here this time by myself and was pleased as usual. The service is fast and efficient, and they love to leave you alone after you order which is really nice. The buffet is constantly being monitored and cleaned, and the food comes quickly. The bar is available and they play nice music. Will return

The food was so good and so was the overall vibe of the restaurant. I have zero complaints for both. The restaurant, particularly THIS location, has THE BEST service. Hands down. No competition. Erina went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of. She checked in on us a good amount (not to the point where we couldn't enjoy our meal), and even made us 2 of her favorite sauces to go with the KBBQ!!! Erina, thank you for making my family's experience a great one!

You will love this spot! The customer service is awesome. The food is really good. There's a FULL bar and tv's for every sport season. Cleanliness is a priority that is immediately obvious. Health score is a 99A! Oh yeah, try to bubble tea!

So, so, SO good! I love that they have a sauce bar. Had so much fun with my friend. I took him here for the first time because he's never had hot pot. He truly enjoyed himself and eat until his heart was fully content. Everything was so delicious. They also have signs above the sauce bar to help you create a sauce. The inside is nice and spacious. There is plenty of seating if you go early, you can eat without there being such a huge crowd. I enjoyed myself, and I can't wait to come back with my sister.

Omg I ate soooooo much and everything was delicious. The highlight for me was the beef short rib which our waiter Dawson recommended- I wasn't even going to order it at first. We ended up getting three orders. Also loved the spicy beef bulgogi. But to be honest all the food we had was delicious. This also included the garlic chicken, salmon, regular bulgogi, and beef hanger steak. You can make your own sauce and pick up banchans at their sauce bar! Make sure you leave a tiny bit of room for dessert to try their ice cream and sesame balls.

If you can eat a lot, this can provide a lot of value and you can try a lot of different things. We liked our tomato broth. Pork bone broth was also good. There is tons of selection that you can grab yourself - lots of red meats and seafood! We loved the fishball selection. There is also a cold bar with some other savories and fruit. We ordered slices of beef and lamb. Definitely enjoyed the beef more. Oddly some of our fave items included the free fried stuff there is a fried pork appetizer they bring which is delicious. We also loved the brown sugar rice cakes & fried taro balls for dessert.

The Chinese herbal soup was really flavorful. When the meat was soaking in it, I could taste the flavor that was soaked through. I highly recommend this base. The spicy soup was extra, but the reasoning they said was because it's from China. And even getting the very mild was pretty spicy. The concept of going to the four fridges and grabbing your hot pot ingredients was interesting. It's such a waste of skewers though! But the fridge had veggies, skewered meats, seafood, noodles, and much more. Since this is an all you can eat place, you can grab any item freely. I do think they will charge you if there's excess food leftover. Well, says the sign anyway. The lamb and beef were the only two free meat options, but you can order this as much as you can eat. The brown sugar rice cake and crispy fried pork were very unique items that's also in the unlimited menu option. There was also interesting tidbits at the bar area near the sauce bar like beef jerky bits, peanuts, and sweet potato balls with a taro interior. Overall very unique ingredients you can order or extra menu items like pig brain, duck jelly, duck tongue among others. Our group didn't venture into trying these though. The ingredients already included were just as good though.

I was pretty familiar with hot pot, as I have been before. But I still enjoyed a little refresher from my uncle and cousin. You pick two broths, and then you can select all the meat and toppings you want. We did some lamb, pork, and they also got beef (I don't eat beef.) It was nice to see that the broths are split in a large bowl, so I could cook my meat separately from theirs and vice versa. The toppings are things like veggies and noodles. We got some vermicelli noodles and bok choy. There is also a topping/sauce bar where you can make your own creations of things you want to dip your meat into. They have a huge assortment of items to choose from. Things like chili oil, green onions, peppers, gochujang, etc. You can make sauces as spicy as you want. I enjoy some spice, so I made mine pretty spicy. I liked that it was self-serve, so I could go get more as I please. The server was attentive and quick to refill our waters and bring us more items when we asked for them. Me and my uncle both got beers as well. They have a good selection of beers to choose from. I will definitely be back because it was so good! Everything tasted so flavorful and it was so easy to pick and choose what you wanted! Also, it's the perfect thing to eat when it's cold and you are feeling a little congested!

The whole setup is like a mini food hall with several authentic Chinese spots to choose from--but Chong Qing is where I landed. I ordered the crispy chicken with garlic sauce and swapped the white rice for a side of house lo mein (yes, it's an upcharge, but worth it). Everything came out on real dishes--not to-go boxes--which I loved. You order and pay at the counter, grab a seat, and they bring the food out to you. Now let's talk about the food... DELICIOUS. The spice level was just right--flavorful with a nice kick, but not overpowering. If you like it hotter, you can definitely add more heat, but I was perfectly satisfied as is. The lo mein was really good too--veggies were fresh with a nice crisp (those onions and carrots were hitting!), and everything tasted well-balanced. Only small note: I wish there was a little more meat in the dish, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. And let me say this--the portion size is VERY generous. I ate until I was full and still had just as much left to take home, which is always a win in my book. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try more. If you're in Chinatown Market and not sure what to pick, Chong Qing Hot Pot is a solid choice. 4/5 stars for me!

When we arrived, I realized the location used to be the old Hong Kong Supermarket -- only longtime locals would probably remember that. The layout inside was pretty interesting. There was a Te'amos milk tea shop in the middle, Lao Szechuan on the right, and the hot pot & BBQ restaurant on the left. The staff greeted us warmly and quickly helped us get seated. One thing that pleasantly surprised me was that they offered freshly made milk teas and fruit teas instead of bottled drinks. The drinks were decent and refreshing, especially for balancing out the richness of the meal. Each person gets their own mini hot pot, which I really liked because everyone could customize their own soup base and ingredients. We chose a variety of broths including mushroom, spicy mala, tomato, and herbal soup. Using the iPad ordering system, we basically ordered one of everything from both the hot pot and BBQ menus. The food came out surprisingly fast, and they even used robots to deliver dishes to the table, which was smooth and efficient. For hot pot, my personal favorites were the fatty beef slices, lamb, beef tripe, black tripe, tofu skin rolls, squid flowers, enoki mushrooms, corn, lotus root slices, kelp knots, fish balls, and beef tendon balls. Everything tasted great with the broth and my favorite sesame dipping sauce. On the BBQ side, the standout items for me were the cumin lamb, beef tongue, chicken cartilage, short ribs, and squid. We weren't exactly BBQ experts, so some meats weren't cooked perfectly, but the flavor was still really enjoyable -- and the best part was that you could keep ordering as much as you wanted. Honestly, for around $40 per person, it felt like a very good value. My parents both thought it was worth the price. We left full and satisfied, and the service was always attentive whenever we needed something. Overall, it was a really enjoyable Mother's Day meal, and I'd definitely come back again with friends next time.

A unique noodle dish with a cute origin story!…read more The story begins with a wife wanting to nourish her husband while he studied for the Imperial Exams on a little island. She made a rich golden chicken noodle soup and sealed in the flavor, heat, and aroma with a layer of chicken oil; and packed the other ingredients separately so that her husband could have a fresh meal as he studied. This dish and style of preparation/presentation eventually became known as Crossing-the-Bridge noodles and is categorized as an intangible cultural heritage for the region. Similar to hot pot, you're supposed to cook the individual ingredients in the hot broth when it all comes out; however, the pot isn't constantly cooking and it should all go in when it arrives at the table. The original broth is really flavorful, while remaining delicate and hearty, and all the various components go well together. The only thing is that the broth does cool down relatively quickly once you start putting in all the other ingredients, so some things weren't as hot as I would've liked. But, overall, I enjoyed my experience! Service was wonderful and there's always parking in this plaza.

The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.
