This was my second time having hot pot, and I had a much more successful experience this time. I think the key is picking a broth that you like and then picking decent ingredients. And I actually made two sauces and liked both of them. I use the spicy tomato lemongrass broth and really liked it. It definitely had a kick and a good flavor. In terms of the ingredients, I really enjoyed various mushrooms. The various vegetables we ordered were all fresh. The meats were not of the highest quality, but they were definitely decent. The beef tongue ended up being one of my favorites, while the pork belly was just OK. Service overall was very good... With one problem. When one gentleman delivered food to our table, he dropped the tongs on the floor. Rather than bring new tongs to the table, he simply picked them up and put them back on the table. We ended up getting three orders. Also loved the spicy beef bulgogi. But to be honest all the food we had was delicious. So I as far as location to stop and, and try something different with you usually I'll get free barbecue, but I decided to go hot pot this time. So first, there is a location that is in a strip mall so there is free parking. There's a parking lot there in a lot of shopping areas around the location. So if you're worried about trying to find a place, that is no big deal. This one looks newer, actually it is about a year old, so it's very nice and super clean. They have some good aesthetics So at least if nothing else going to be sleeping to the eye. They have a full bar if you are trying to order this, but at the bar or set it up but I feel like if you want them will experience you would probably just sit in a table in order drinks that way. They let you try the soup base before you get a full order so I tried the Japanese miso, Szechuan and spicy, and Thai yum. I selected the base with udon noodles (They have about six or seven types of rices and noodles free to select). I got a number of meats to try, brisket, pork belly, sliced pork, just basically whatever they have that caught my attention lol. And you can get vegetables as well so don't make it seem like it's only meat that you can order. I got some spinach and mushrooms too so technically that makes me healthy lol. They give you a soup for the table and then they bring you all the things you order so you can dip them in the hot pot. I wasn't sure how it went but my server was super helpful and friendly and made sure I knew what I was doing by the time my food got there. She got me together. She made sure it was a good experience. Overall, because of how good and friendly the service was and because of the quality of food, I would definitely come back for hot pot. We were looking for an all-you-can-eat with veggie options for me; plus we had a coupon on the back of our Kroger receipt, so we thought we would give KPot a try. As we walked in, there were advertisements in the window announcing their 1-yr anniversary - we didn't realize they have been in Tucker for a year already. We chose the combo option, both K BBQ + Hot Pot, for $5/person because we wanted to experience both as this was our first visit. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly - the hostess, the wait staff, the food runners, the table clearers, and a woman who we assumed was the manager checked on us several times while we were dining. We got so excited with making our selections and planning our "courses" to ensure we paced ourselves appropriately so that we didn't order too much and incur the food waste penalty that we kept forgetting to get snaps of our meat and veggies selections and the cooking process - sorry! We'll try to do better next time. We thoroughly enjoyed everything we selected. We started with hot pot and after finishing those selections (beef belly, clams, crab, bok choy, sprouts, oyster mushrooms, lotus root, and broccoli - in Szechuan Spicy and Thai Tom Yum broths) we moved on to the Korean BBQ (beef tongue, spare ribs, special pork cheek, bell pepper, zucchini, and pumpkin). Everything was fresh and evenly sliced which made the cooking process much easier vs. other K BBQ places we have been to. Additionally, at KPOT the entire menu is all-you-can-eat; your not limited to 3-4 items. We did notice that not all meats are served all day, several were identified as "Dinner Meats" on the menu, making the increased price for dinner understandable. We had so much fun cooking, talking, and laughing at ourselves - we even had the waiter and person we assumed was the manager giggling at us. I'm honestly shocked at myself for not having reviewed this place yet, but it's one of my top places to go, especially with my daughter. It's super convenient considering it's all you can eat, and the pricing is unbeatable ($35-40/person for unlimited food). You can do hot pot, Korean barbecue or both, everyone at the table just has to do the same thing. Kids under five I believe eat free and then there's a reduced price between another age range. The side bar has rice, fruit, dessert, and a lot of different ingredients to make sauces. The menu offers a lot of different items from chicken all the way to seafood as well as regular white rice and a variety of noodles for the hot pot. There is a separate menu for hot pot and Korean barbecue so there's definitely plenty of options to go around depending on what the people at your table eat. I've also never had a bad experience with Service their attentive if they're busy, they'll set you up with the iPad so that you can continue to order while they tend to other tables and the location is super clean. After calling ahead, they promised we could sit together if we arrived by 9:30 PM, but they broke that promise and split us into two separate tables. Once seated, the staff aggressively peer-pressured us to order more food, yet the portions we did receive were tiny and tasteless, the rice tasted stale, and several items we ordered never even arrived. To make matters worse, we felt rushed to stuff our food down to avoid extra fees, and the bill came out to an outrageous $366 for just eight of us. They tried to give us free ice cream at the end to make up for it, but it did not save the night--save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I even ate sesame ball, lychee jelly, and a chocolate mousse cake which were small servings so I did not feel so bad indulging after I was already full from all my protein packed lunch! They do good business on a Friday lunch which I think is a good value as it is $10 discount from dinner or a weekend lunch. For those who want to save an extra 10%, go to the Kroger's in same shopping mall and look for coupon on the back of the receipt. They do not bring out the banchan plates like other restaurants. Instead, you help yourself at the buffet bar in the restaurant's back wall. There you'll find a wide variety of sauces, daikon, kimchi, seaweed salad, fruit, dessert, fries, chicken wings, and sesame balls. Some of the cuts were great, like the hangar steak, while other cuts, like the pork ribs, were more fat than meat. Getting our table was a little rough.
