I went here for the first time with my partner in August of this year and was enamored by the cute atmosphere of the cafe! My partner ordered the waffle with strawberries and bananas and I opted for a classic burger with fries. The fries were honestly some of the best I've had in town and the burger was solid! Cute brunch spot in Los Gatos! It was my first time trying a BUCKWHEAT crepe with spinach, feta, and mushrooms! I've never seen a whole grain crepe option before, and it was so fluffy and delicious! I wish more restaurants offered this :) the crepe came out a bit cold but the mushroom sauce was warm so I guess that worked out ... :0 4/5 because the food was delicious and service was great, but I wish the food came out warmer. They have packets of condiments on a side table. I don't mind salting my own food it gives me more control over the amount I get. It was fine. The other plate was a mixed berries and custard crepe. Maybe it was an off day. We have been here numerous times, usually ordering a savory crepe to share and the sweet Parisian crepe for dessert. Today I decided to try the mixed berry crepe and husband got the Parisian, his favorite. The mixed berry crepe was filled with strawberries and 4 blueberries. The fruit was cooked and hot and the crepe was slightly burned. It was not good in any way. The cashier was clearly unhappy to be there, unhappy to be interacting with us. We all have bad days so I tried to ignore the negative vibes. The crepe was a complete loss, though. Will we be back? Not sure. Maybe someday. read more

Yay for gluten-free crepes! All the crepes were delicious. There's an outside seating area that's right next to a parking lot, but there are lots of flowers and plants around so it's pretty. I don't know if they're just short-staffed, but we had to bus the table before we sat down, and a couple items to a while to come out. It may be that they want people to bus they're own tables, which is fine. If that's they case, some signage would make that apparent. Everyone was very nice and the food was great (the potatoes were really nicely cooked), so we'll definitely go back. read more

A solid four stars. Place is clean with cute photos and local artist paintings for sale. Yelp check in means a free fountain beverage. Order was quick and easy. The hubs got the chicken pesto w no tomato, I opted for the margarita. Both were tasty! The crepe was perfect and the cheese oozed out mixed in with the pesto.... it was what I was craving. Hubs also got a green small side salad. Fresh cucumber, shredded carrots and lettuce. He would order it again. I definitely need to come back for the dessert crepes and try other items on the menu! Not very strict for Groupon users. It says for take-out only and must order an entree before using this deal. Apparently I didn't need to order an entree to have the deal applied and I didn't have to take it to-go. Regardless, it was nice enjoying my meal there. I ordered the Gary's Omelet. I ordered it because it was healthy; egg whites, turkey, and avocado. The dish comes w/ potatoes and toast (I chose whole grain). Since I didn't know I didn't need to order/pay for an entree, I ordered the Mushroom and Brie Burger and a Gil's Southwestern Sandwich which contains ham, green chiles, and pepper jack cheese. I informed the girl that I wanted the omelet for here but to box the other two. I paid and she seemed very impatient w/ me. I was not asked if I wanted a drink. A very small place but much larger than the Los Gatos location. BTW, service for the Los Gatos location is similar to this one. I waited for about 10 minutes for my order which wasn't bad. The place was quite busy and I see 2 girls working the register and running the food and 2 guys working the production line: one for the crepes and one for the griddle. There are no restrooms inside this place. Water is self served (wish I saw that) and tables are equipped w/ ketchup, mustard, Tabasco, Tapatio, salt, and pepper. Finally! My order was brought out but it wasn't my omelet but it was the sandwich and burger. She then had to take it back to box it. Finally! My omelet is here! It looked huge. I didn't care too much for the potatoes but the egg white omelet was quite tasty although very dense. The avocado were fresh and the turkey were slices of turkey one can get at Trader Joe's. Not bad. I enjoyed it very much. Not long into my meal, the girl came back to retrieve the bag (my boxed goods) because she gave me the wrong burger. The sandwich was standard. I regret ordering it. I was not asked what type of bread I'd like. Maybe it was my fault because I should have specified my preference. The burger was for my boyfriend. Although he didn't taste any mushrooms or brie, he said it was seasoned right and was tasty. I'll try their breakfast crepes and Belgian waffle next time. I'm usually a fan of this place. I've been here plenty of times and I always get the Crab Crepe Benni, which is delicious. However, lately the food has been subpar and this last visit has turned me off. I ordered my usual. The poached eggs were hard boiled eggs. The crepes were overcooked. There was barely any crab and any crab that was actually in the crepe was cold and watery. There was just a huge chunk of avocado in each crepe. The crepes were also poorly thrown together. Maybe the cook was having a bad day. I'm usually pretty understanding when it comes to the occasional bad meal at one of my favorite places to eat but I couldn't even finish this one. Update 1/28/17: Tried to give this place another chance. Service has gone way down for some reason. Owner change or maybe he stopped caring? Anyways, I didn't get my order. People who sat down after me got their orders before me and it was not that busy. After 30 minutes of waiting patiently, I went to the counter and asked for a refund. I had given them a $20 bill and told them to keep the change for tip when I ordered. I told them that when I was getting my refund and the cashier gave me attitude, like I was lying (the original cashier was there). Get your receipt, ladies and gentlemen. Buckwheat spinach, mushroom, feta crepe - in an attempt to be healthier, I chose to get the buckwheat crepe instead of regular or gluten-free. But the buckwheat made the whole crepe super dry and thick. It felt more like eating a pancake. The mushrooms weren't really cooked down at all so it was an odd, semi-raw mushroom mix with a bland spinach and cheese mix. Pretty disappointed. 2/5 Grilled chicken pesto sandwich - Chicken was cut very thin so it was a bit dry, but otherwise was probably the best thing we had. The bread was pretty tasty and had a nice crunch. 3.5/5 Garlic Parmesan fries - too fried and too oily. There was a lot of garlic, but the Parmesan cheese wasn't shredded or melted on to the fries. I ordered a waffle combo for breakfast from your restaurant through Door Dash. While the order was delivered timely, there were no napkins, no condiments, no syrup or butter for my waffle and no utensils. I'm staying in a hotel so I don't normally pack utensils in my suitcase. So I had nothing to eat my food with, and completely bland food - especially no syrup for my waffle. That's unforgivable. I called your restaurant immediately and the girl that answered the phone told me it wasn't her problem. I told her I was going to put a bad review on Yelp and she still insisted it was not her problem. Breakfast was not cheap, and my food is not worth eating.
