Stopped by this cute little sweet shop at Belmont Park because I was craving a caramel apple and it totally hit the spot! The young lady working there was so sweet and even offered to cut my caramel apple for me, which I thought was such a thoughtful touch. Came down here for a little evening treat. We got a waffle bowl with vanilla ice cream sprinkles and marshmallows for my little and I. The scoops are giant, I even asked the employee not to make such a big second scoop. Ice cream is delicious and they gave us a fair amount of each topping and the waffle bowl was pretty good too. The strawberry cheesecake was one of our flavors we got and it was especially good because it had authentic cheesecake bits in it. We got a monster cone with black cherry ice cream from @sweetshoppe_belmontpark and a ice churro from @icedchurro The Sweet shoppe was so cute inside all pink and old fashioned looking! When you walk in you can smell the waffle cones and it's so delicious! They have all kinds of ice cream tons of flavors and very well made ice cream. There were giant chunks of black cherries which I loved. You can tell they use the best ingredients in their ice cream! The waffle cone with the sprinkles looked so pretty but was too sweet. I also loved the amount of ice cream they gave you for just one scoop! The guy who was working was very nice and happy even though it was Christmas Eve and I'm sure he would have rather been home. He took his time scooping and did a great job. Of course it was expensive for an ice cream, about 10-12$ but that's what you expect In a place in Belmont park. I wanted one all to myself and ended up splitting a waffle cone with 2 scoops of the cookies n creme and almond mocha and we killed it!
