I wanted a sweet treat after spending a day at the beach. I got the Vanilla/Chocolate Swirl in a Sprinkles-Dipped Cone ($8.50). I thought this place was just overpriced for the location however when I got my order my jaw literally dropped. This thing was huge! Super worth it for the price I think, you could easily share this between three people. Also for people with nut allergies, this place does not guarantee an allergy-free environment since they serve all their items with the option of adding peanuts. The waffle cones are stored with pre-dipped peanut cones as well. However, since my boyfriend is allergic to peanuts, I asked if they had any more waffle cones in the back that haven't been sitting in the same case as the peanut cones. They said yes and happily dipped me a new sprinkles cone for good measure. Very happy with their service :) Took off 1 star bc the soft serve is pretty thin and icy, not so much creamy. I noticed people walking around with the most delicious looking ice cream cone , so I look around and see a shack with a huge ice cream cone by it . My daughter and I just had to have one . The ice cream cone is so gigantic that we decided to share one . We went with vanilla soft serve ice cream in a chocolate dipped with peanuts cone for 8.50 . It was amazing eating this delicious ice cream cone right on the beach on a gorgeous day . Loved every second of it . They also serve snow cones . I was here for superbowl weekend and my friends and I tried this place out. The waffle cone with ice cream is $8 unless you want some extras like a chocolate dipped waffle cone. I asked for a frozen chocolate dipped banana but they were out. The place runs out of things so what they list they may be out of. One friend got a snow cone but the staff had some trouble making it. By the time were they were done the rest of us were half way into ours. Their snow cones was frozen together and the poor guy had to use his spoon like an ice pick. It cost $8 and he could not enjoy it. I suspect that it is a sunlight treat and one should not get it unless the sun is shining hot enough to melt the snow cone. The rest of the ice cream waffle cones melted pretty fast so I would recommend that you ask for a cup to put your cone top down in so you can spoon out the ice cream. Even if you are a quick ice cream eater it looked like a third to a half the cones leaked ice cream from the bottom. The good news is that the waffle cones taste good, the ice cream too. It is soft ice cream, not the greatest but not the worst. The customer service is friendly enough and on that I feel five stars is appropriate. The availability of some of the menu items and the difficulty with them, along with the prices they charge are marks against this place. The thing is, its in a good location and is great for taking selfies at with the scenery. My verdict is that it is worth trying once if you are there but stick to the waffle cone and get it with a cup. read more

This is low key one of my favorite things about San Diego. We come here multiple times each trip to get a soft serve cone with sprinkles on top! As far as price goes it definitely is more expensive than others as it is right on Mission Beach in front if Belmont park, but if is 10000% worth it. The ice cream is always delicious and the staff is always super friendly. Keep in mind it is ice cream on the beach so it melts fast. Pro tip! After spending the day on the beach ice cream made for the perfect dinner. We came here because it was right where we were coming off of the beach and was so enticing. My husband and I both got vanilla in a cone with rainbow sprinkles. The cones were good but mine had a crack and I kept dropping ice cream everywhere. The sprinkles don't go on the outside like normal ice cream. They put a hole in the middle of the ice cream and filled that with sprinkles? It was really dumb because when you got to the middle of your ice cream sprinkles would pour out and get all over the place. It became really messy. Also since you get so much ice cream and it is 90 degrees out it is hard to stay on top of it and keep it from melting everywhere. On top of that you can tell the machine was having s difficult time keeping up with the demand of the ice cream as the ice cream wasn't really set. The price for both of our ice creams was $15.00. Although the cones are large, that is incredibly expensive even for San Diego. I am happy that I went here because you always win when you have ice cream for dinner but next time I'd rather eat my ice cream from somewhere else. read more
