stopped in for a quick bite to eat on our way up to the 'Notch. Great location right off the highway. Parking was tough on the main road but there is a municipal lot right around the corner. My group got: everything bagel and a sesame bagel with lox: more like a lox sandwich, $7 was a pretty good price for what we got, had a lot of capers. Yogurt parfait: 3/5 stars, the homemade granola was a little too chewey and threw off the consistency of the parfait. club richmond (hold the mayo): great flavor all around. The chicken was tender and delicious, the bacon was thick and flavorful, the pickles were a nice touch.

Their spinach cheese biscuit is delicious. This has been my lunch on more than one occasion. However, the poppy seed muffin and blueberry muffin are really dry. The chocolate cake cupcake looked gorgeous, but the cake portion was a bit dry and crumbly. The frosting was a bit too dense, was expecting something fluffier. Overall flavor was good, just a few things that could've made it perfect.

I was curious about this bakery, which opened a couple weeks ago. On my way back from skiing at Bolton, I stopped by to give some pastries a try and sit for a caffeinated beverage. The shop has a friendly open atmosphere with 7 tables for casual seating. The bakery cases had some great choices of pastries, cookies, and scones including a gluten free option. I enjoyed my cafe mocha with a chocolate croissant. The croissant had a wonderful crust and soft texture of the inside along with a wonderful semi-sweet chocolate on the inside and drizzled on the outside. The mocha was a nice warm treat to compliment the croissant. Children gravitate to the pastry cases as it the assortment is tantalizing. I happen to be around to see a couple have a wedding cake tasting. They had three cakes (3 inch round mini cake versions) that looked great and friends, who happen to know the couple, got to taste these treats which they said were a delight. I could not help bringing home a sampling of scones (one sweet, one savory), a tart, and a New York style crumb cake. This bakery is welcome addition and draw to Richmond.

Great new addition to Richmond! Delicious treats, iced coffee and cake. Coconut cake is a must try.

This place was on our way to our first destination this morning and we said screw it, let's give a try, Ooof!! we would've have a better tasty breakfast at McDonald's for half the cost. Yep!! This place is actually really pricey for the quality of food you get here. I ordered the egg, cheese sandwich on a biscuit (because we always like to try the local restaraunt's biscuits) and I added their maple sausage. I wanted to get an almond croissant as well until I saw a fly in the pastry cabinet just have his way on all the pastries. NOPE!! This was probably one of the worse breakfast sandwiches I have ever had to date. The biscuit itself was hard as a rock, dry and crumbled upon touch. It was lousy as heck. The maple sausage was a thick patty, but small, almost like a quarter size round compared to the size of the biscuit. So for what sandwich and a cup of coffee was around $23. Heck no! Was that even worth it with how bad inflation is these days Not sure how they have such high ratings, but just be warned. You're welcome!

More akin to a breakfast panini, the gooey fluffy egg and cheese, crunchy bacon, and bright onions were perfectly supported by two slices of crunchy, crusty toasted sourdough. Such great flavor! The iced maple latte was a bit on the sweet side but still very much enjoyed it. TBD on the scone, but judging by how busy it was, it is gonna be great! It's always been busy when I've gone, but wait times aren't very long and the staff is pleasant. Needless to say, I got home and inhaled my turkey on a baguette. The only thing I think is a little bit of a bummer is the lack of more "traditional" topping options. I like my sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, and onion. The cafe does not offer tomatoes and only has pickled onions. Would be nice to have a little more choice when building your own sandwich. That said, I'm still a big fan and would get food from there again in a heartbeat.

Everything is made with care and it shows, from the flaky, buttery croissants to the fresh, crusty sourdough loaves.
