I've been to a few different locations and superrrr happy they opened this one so close to me. It's brand new, super clean, good amount of seating... Food: sweetgreen is a great lunch spot for healthy salads, at around $$11-13. All of the ingredients are really fresh, they list the calories, and there's a lot of options (cooked/roasted/raw/seasonal). Edits are definitely available but, from what I've tried - all of their bowls and salads are really well balanced with fat, acidity, freshness and flavor. I got my usual "guacamole greens" - it's really yummy!! I added lentils, corn, feta, and the spicy chickpeas :) friend got the Thai salad and was also very happy. Parking/location: tough in this area. It's on Ventura so street parking is available just difficult. Valet parking or the free parking structure across the street (underground, beneath five guys / western bagel) are good options. Also, Philz coffee is opening up right next door! After chipotle closed down u was super sad because I didn't know where I was going to get another chicken bowl from. But then I saw that this place was going I had to try and I'm glad I did!! I'm a huge fan of sweet greens, I practically eat lunch at the Hollywood branch every day. So, I was happy that theres one closer to my place. I finally went and tried it today. I'm currently, sitting in the bathroom with an upset stomach. I couldn't eat more than half my salad cause my stomach didnt feel good. Now I'm on the toilet with a bad case of the tummies. What makes it even worse, is that the girl who made the salad was giving me so much attitude! I asked if she can cut up the egg and the avocado, they do that in Hollywood without me having to ask. The customer service at this location truly sucks. And even more so since the pandemic began. I want to support local businesses but I just cant anymore. My last 2 orders were 15 min late missing the dressing and came out without a bag or utensils and my bowl wasn't taped shut either wth??? I noticed they were only doing that for the delivery drivers! Why???? You are supposed to be doing that for everyone! And the disrespect and attitude I got when asking why my food was just thrown at me without anything else?? I got back oh do it yourself??? If you have dietary restrictions, allergies or IBS this isn't a place for you. There's garlic and onion in everything except the raw food. Gluten and dairy in the sauces. Peanut sauce as well. I basically left with a glorified side salad. Plus the manager and an employee were very impatient with my friend who is vegan and myself with the allergies. Dear SG... I think I'm in love with you. I had heard quite a bit about SG from a friend but never tried it since there wasn't one near me. Finally broke my SG cherry on Friday. Anytime I try a new place I usually let the employees surprise me with a recommendation. I just tell them my dietary restrictions and allergies and leave the rest up to the expert. Aaron was the employee that helped me on this particular day. The salad was probably one of the best salads I've ever had. Everything from roasted sun-dried tomatoes to a pesto sauce and crispy rice. Every bite was crisp and fresh and the ingredients were all top notch. Not one piece of wilted lettuce. I returned today (Monday) because I haven't stopped thinking about that salad I had on Friday all weekend. To my surprise Aaron has a twin brother... When I walked in my saladmaster was not there but his twin was. Here is where the customer service reached new heights.. Aaron's twin, Ben, was already off the clock and literally on his way out the door when I stopped him and asked what he had put in my salad on Friday. He corrected me and said that he was off on Friday and his brother was working the one who had helped me. He could have left it at that but Ben FaceTimed his brother, who remembered me, and together they assembled the same salad for me. If that's not customer service, I don't know what is. Same amazing ingredients and service that was above and beyond. This is definitely my new favorite lunch spot. I had been a fan of the downtown LA location this past year and a half. I was truly excited when SG opened in Studio City. Yesterday's debacle with the $5 salad promo lost me as a customer. Here's why... I registered for their app and attempted to place my order for lunch yesterday at 12:30pm. The app would not allow me to pick up the order until 5:15pm or later. I was willing & tried to pay for the salads yesterday but set the pick up for one day later. I was not permitted. I'd also like to point out that the special advertised was for 3 items, each containing kale, though when trying to place the order I was notified that there was no kale available. All right - so I can understand that Sweet Greens works with Mother Nature so maybe there was an issue with the current kale crop. What I do not understand is their referral to their 'Guest Experience' services and being passed off to a make believe corporate representative to help resolve my customer issue(s). I tried to call the restaurant and their corporate office, but the inability to speak with a live human at any level left me irritated and still hungry. At 12:48pm yesterday I was passed off to a 'interactive text' but nobody ever responded to my inquiry. Sweet Greens can make all the promises in the world to try to get people to believe they care about the planet and people on it. Great credo with piss poor execution will make this chain a flash in the pan. I'm utterly fed up with being ignored by companies who profess to care but really just want to slide into your wallet for a quickie and take, take, take. It is impossible to order through sweet greens via online. I'm tech savvy and there is always an error on there website and then you can't place orders via phone call. The least complicated way is through yelp. It's a truly frustrating experience and I have chosen to get lunch elsewhere more than once because of it. read more

Terrible Customer Service at Studio City Location. First time customer, and ordered a featured item on their menu- Their seasonal item : "Curry Cauliflower". They were out of 3 of the ingredients to add. The person working there told me to pick other options, which was kind of odd, because when she first took my order, she asked "As is"? I said yes, every ingredient as featured in the salad. So when they did not have 3 integral ingredients affecting flavor of the salad- Arugula, cilantro, and the signature "sweet green hot sauce". I sincerely and politely said... Well it's not exactly "As is", bc it's not the actual complete item I want to order. (Basically I was now having to create a different salad.) As I was trying to choose other options, the server had a look of impatience on her face, as if I was holding her up. She was so rude. I let the manager know, and she said. " I will coach her". The manager's comment felt patronizing, dismissive, and just to move me along. She said "Have a nice day." in the most disingenuous sounding tone. This manager should have respectfully offered to discount my order, or throw in a free beverage for the inconvenience. I really was hoping to enjoy this new location, as I have been to the Sweetgreen on the east coast, and the service and food was great! I live in this neighborhood and all the eateries on this block are amazing, and the customer service is high quality. It's a shame this Sweetgreen studio city location was so unhelpful and unkind, especially since it recently opened. I will not be returning, and I really wish I left my order on the counter and got a refund. I have never written a negative or long review regarding customer service. So trust me, don't waste your appetite or your money at this location. It's the start of a new decade people, there are better places and kinder people. If you order through the app your order will be made incorrectly 9/10 times. If you order in person the employees are very careless with the food prep and all act like they do not want to be there. It was maybe half the size of the normal salad I'd get here. Normally I can barely finish a salad here and I'm still hungry after this one. I visited the place with my 5 years old daughter. I ordered a bowl and for my daughter, who only wanted corn and avocado, I asked for both sides in a separate bowl. Everyone was nice and the food was OK (nothing amazing, but fresh and healthy). Then my daughter wanted another 1/2 avocado and when I try to buy it - I was told that they cannot sell only side and I need to get another salad/bowl.
