Customers deserve honesty, quality work, and basic respect. I sincerely hope no one else has to experience the kind of treatment I received. The second receipt is from a separate bike shop stating that it was not replaced and still needed to be fixed.

They had a look at my water heater and determined it needed to be replaced. We had been wanting to get a new tankless water heater for quite some time but my husband wanted to wait until we were in need of replacing our current hot water heater tank. Steve gave us a quote for replacing our current 75 gallon water heater with a tankless Navien model that would go in our garage in the same place as our old water heater. The price was fair and we agreed to go with the work. Later that morning Efficient Plumbing ordered our tankless water heater, delivered it, removed our old water heater and installed the new tankless water heater for us. They did an amazing job with all the necessary modifications to make the conversion from tank to tankless and we were thrilled with the end result. We now have endless hot water that we once never had. Efficient Plumbing has once again came to our rescue when we have been in need of a plumber! They are the best plumbers and I will continue working with them on any future projects or improvements that we may need.

This is any homeowners nightmare and I called Efficient Plumbing right away. We have used them for many years and sadly this wasn't our first water leak. Evelin answered the phone and walked me through on how to shut the water off to the house immediately to stop the water damage. Hector came out within the hour and got to work diagnosing our issue. He is knowledgeable and very experienced and we always feel like we are in good hands. Our ceiling was opened and it turned out to be a copper pin hole leak on the water line in the ceiling above the dining room that feeds our master bathroom. Hector skillfully repaired the water leak and also advised us to consider a whole house repipe since this was not our first leak. They gave us their estimate the same day for the whole house repipe and even offered to credit the repairs made with Hector towards the repipe which was a big help. We decided to move forward and had them repipe our whole house the following week. They got it done in one day and everything went great! A few days later the drywall was patched up and we were all done! There are many many plumbers in our area but after years of consistent quality workmanship and customer service, I only use and trust Efficient Plumbing.

My freezer department was failing to remain frozen. The upper ice maker also had stopped working, but it was a secondary issue. Elad diagnosed the issue and gave me an estimate for the freezer department repair. Parts were ordered on a Thursday and the repair was completed on the next Tuesday. Elad also told he believed the ice maker would start working within a week, as he felt the repair completed were related. He also gave me a second estimate in case it didn't but suggested I wait. The ice machine started making ice after 5 days which was a great ending. Very impressed with this company and Elad. It is a pleasant surprise to find a technician with integrity that doesn't make unnecessary repairs. I highly recommend this business and would use them in the future if needed.

Dear Shawn, I just want to start out and say you have horrible anger management. I have never been treated so poorly by a business owner for as long as I have been alive. Very rude and super difficult to deal with. Now, I thought maybe this would have only been to me and you might have been having a bad day. However, this is not the case. I had went back a few days later to look at an Ebike that I had saw online, which you guys were carrying in the store. When I had arrived, I saw Shawn getting into it with a lady. After about five minutes, the lady had left crying because of how poorly Shawn had treated her. The way Shawn had dealt with this situation made me disgusted and I have made sure that I will never go back to his location. I understand treating a customer poorly once maybe one day, but doing it to someone else a few days later from my situation? Now, that is just messed up. I don't understand your need to be aggravated towards your customers for something that can possibly be going on in your head. Maybe try some anger management lessons because it seems like you can't control them on your on? Just a thought though. Furthermore, after looking through the other reviews, I can see rather clearly that you do need some anger management lessons. I would try that as a solution to your poor treatment of customers. Also, hiring a GM and them leaving 3 days later because they didn't like how you treated your customers? I just have to say, wow! That has got to be a world record of some kind! Congrats to you for this! Maybe you can put a sticker that states this in front of your window so that customers know what they are dealing with! Good day sir. read more

Three of us rented bikes from these guys to ride in the Etape California (this is a stage of the Tour of California pro race). We did so based on Yelp reviews and totally over email. I ride fairly seriously and take my gear very seriously. I also travel to ride so I get the chance to rent from shops around the country. I wish that all my experiences were as good as the one we all had with Synaptic. Joe (the owner) took the "fit" of our bikes incredibly seriously. He asked for a ton of measurements from my bike at home (via a Web page) and lo and behold when he showed up at our hotel to deliver the bike it fit nearly perfectly. Not only that but the bike was a real beauty. A very high end road bike. When I look at the bike he rented to me and the price he charged (along with the delivery and pick up). The two other guys who rented from Joe were similarly pleased. I can't believe what a great value I received. Moreover Joe was kind enough to leave us a floor pump at no charge. Even the bags on the bike had TWO tubes as well as all the flat changing stuff you'd ever need (CO2 etc). Most rental shops stinge on this kind of stuff for some reason. I highly recommend Synaptic. I came to OC to visit a friend and we spontaneously decided to bike back from San Diego, where we went to see a concert, to my friends house in Newport Beach along the Pacific Coast. We were not sure how to make this happen until we stumbled across Joe's business and gave him a call. He was very nice and helpful. Not only did he deliver the bike to San Diego for us early in the morning, but he also offered a lot of valuable advice for our journey and we could call him anytime with any question (as non-locals this was very helpful). He took our extra clothes back to Newport Beach for us, so we could travel just with a light backpack. The bike I got from him was a top-quality bike (Calfee frame, Shimano Ultegra parts) and in great shape. He made sure it was well adjusted for me so the ride was very pleasurable without any pain. I could choose between different saddles and pedals. It was hard giving it back to him in the end as I enjoyed riding it so much :-) I will definitely come back and tackle another part of the Pacific Coast with his bike. Had a great experience at Synaptic Cycles! Shawn helped me on the sales side and was incredibly knowledgeable -- no pressure, just straightforward answers to every question I had about the different bikes in the shop. You could tell he genuinely knew the products inside and out, not just reciting a sales pitch. Adam in the service department was just as solid. He clearly knows what he's doing mechanically and explained things in a way that actually made sense, which I really appreciated. Between the two of them, it felt like talking to people who actually love bikes rather than just trying to make a sale. Honest, friendly, and they know their stuff. On my recent visit to San Diego, I was in need of a rental bike to do some riding while on vacation. Being a very experienced rider, its hard to find high end bikes at a decent price. I found Synaptic Cycles on the internet and contacted Joe. He was amazing, truly experienced in riding and incredibly helpful. Within a few short conversations and a few brief emails I was all ready to go. He delivered the bike to my doorstep (wow) and helped get me fit to the bike. When I was done, he came and picked it up. Wife and I wanted to do something productive on a Sunday afternoon, so we've decided to rent 2 EV bikes online with Synaptic Cycles. We arrived on time @ 2pm and Shawn had the EV bikes ready for us ready to go. We never had EV bikes experience, so Shawn was really patient to explain to us how to operate the bikes safely. I had opted for the more "Versatile and Fun" EV bike but Shawn suggested that because it's my first time, I should try a beginner's EV bike. Suffice to say, wife and I really enjoyed the 2 hours rental and the bikes were top notch condition. Joe is an awesome resource for anyone on vacation in Southern California. I brought my helmet, shoes and gloves and he provided one of the more awesome bikes I have ever ridden. This was no beach cruiser. This was the real deal. It was an all carbon Calfee, the same that Greg LeMond rode when he won the Tour in 1987. It was a great ride. This is just one of the best bicycle rentals ever! I got a perfect bike (Volagi, disk brakes, shimano ultra electronic shifting system), even my preferred saddle (selle italia) was fixed. Called Synaptic Cycles and they offered to bring bikes right to hotel we were staying at but we choose to go right to their location. 2 hour rental was perfect to ride to San Clemente pier walk the pier and ride back. About one year and half ago I bought a Trustmade e bike from powerhouse for $1,000. About three months ago the bike stopped working. I was unable to power the bike. I called Powerhouse and told them about the problem. I was more than happy to pay for the repair. They informed me that there was nothing they could do. They said I would have to contact the manufacturer, order the part that needed replacing and take it to a shop that does repairs to fix it. Basically it was my problem to deal with. I emailed the manufacturer numerous times. I got no response. I tried calling them at various numbers I found on the internet and I couldn't get a hold of anyone. I left messages and no one responded. So I basically bought a bike for $1,000 that lasted 18 months. Like I said the staff were friendly and the price was reasonable. But in retrospect I should have bought the bike from a store that offers some kind of support and help when things go wrong. If you buy a bike from here just know that if anything goes wrong you're on your own.
