Our crew from System Pavers was fantastic. Leonil and his team modeled hard work, diligence for detail, with no slacking off. All were very friendly and courteous, and finished ahead of schedule!

Edging paver closest to sidewalk came loose. Octavio had it fixed immediately.

One of the edging pavers on the side of our steps became loose. Octavio immediately scheduled time with me so he could inspect it. He let me know that he'd have it fixed that week and it would be under warranty, which surprised me since it was 2 years since our installation. He had someone come out the next day to fix it and let me know it would take 48 hours to cure. Octavio was so quick to respond that it felt like nothing ever happened.

I contacted System Pavers to get a quote on laying a patio and installing turf in my backyard. Our backyard started out as a small dirt lot and was transformed into a beautiful patio. Lidiana came over to our home and walked us through the design process. She was able to take measurements of our backyard and input them into her design software. We looked through the options for pavers and within minutes she had a detailed design of our backyard with 3D flyovers. We decided on our design and got the project started. We were able to get discounts due to a holiday sale and having them start asap. Within 2 weeks our backyard was completely transformed. Jeff was assigned as our project manager and lead us through every step of the build. He was frequently updating us on when the workers would be at our house and when deliveries were scheduled. The process went very smooth! When the project was done the workers cleaned up the driveway where we had deliveries. They also bagged up some extra rock that we ordered to use in the front yard and stored it on the side of our house. They went above and beyond! I would recommend System Pavers to anyone looking to transform an outdoor space in their home. They are a little pricey but you pay for the warranty and smooth installation process. It was worth every penny!

Great experience with Brandon in Sales, and Adrian who was the Project Manager. Exactly what I was expecting, and they took a lot of care to explain the entire process from end to end VERY thoroughly. They kept in great contact, and the actual paver installers were outstanding and very nice. Overall great experience and I'll be coming back for more projects.

Review based on warrantied repair/install: Project Manager Ryan and his team did an excellent job repairing and installing our front yard pavers/ walkway. The work was completed timely and the craftsmanship is excellent. It was admirable and appreciated that System Pavers honored their warranty 14-years after the original install. Absolutely recommended for skill and the professionalism shown by Ryan and his crew (who even stayed onsite late until the job was done). Thank you!

To those who got the turf, any regrets? I'm so concerned it will look fake and I'll wish I went with real grass. Is there anything you would have done different?

I have done artificial turf twice. I have no regrets. To be honest, it doesn't look like real grass when you're up close, but from a distance you can't tell. The benefits of my dog not ruining it, not having to water or cut it, and having it…

How well does the turf they use mitigate heat? I realize artificial turf is a synthetic polymer and will get hot. Just trying to figure out how hot, as in bare foot on a hot day. How well has it stood up over time?

I can't answer that. We had the turf put in in November. It has not gotten hot at all yet.

Hi, Do they also do concrete stamping?

No they do not, we were specifically looking for a paver company

He communicated well and explained the process and what my option's were and did everything he said he was going to do with precision and care. The amount of detail and consistency through out the project even though done at two separate times really speaks highly of his work. He was referred to me from a contractor that has been using him for years and I'm so happy with everything from start to finish. I think as a home owner we all need to understand that this is quickly becoming a lost trade on the residential side where quality and details matter and there are few out there that truly understand the old ways of laying concrete and that the people like Pedro who are still in this trade need to consider more than just a deadline of completion which seems to be the biggest concern I see on his other reviews. This is a forever upgrade to your home and weather, supplies, and labor all play a key part so give yourself and the contractor some time and leniency to work it out and give you the best product possible. Just my two cents from going through it myself.

I got a couple of quotes through Yelp, but ultimately decided to go with Kay Green -- and I'm so glad I did. It took Young and his crew about a day and a half to complete the project. I live in a townhouse community, and they were very respectful of the shared space. They did an excellent job cleaning up the carport area they used for their equipment and materials. We ran into a few unexpected issues during the project, but Young was always upfront about what was happening and communicated his solutions clearly. His recommendations were thoughtful and turned out great. I would definitely use Kay Green again for any future landscaping projects and will happily recommend them to family and friends!

They ruined and broke numerous branches while admitting that these plants are very delicate. They rushed the job that should have been at least two hours and finished in one hour. I should have stopped them after the owner told me to go inside and they will let me know when they were done. You never tell someone that's paying you $500 dollars to take your time and do a professional job to go inside. I should have told him to get the F off of my property and hired someone else. I would have been better off hiring men from Home Depot. Totally unprofessional, rushed the job, ruined a couple of plants and didn't give a shit how it looked, even after I showed the owner the damaged plants and all the broken branches only to find more as the branches dried out in the weeks to come. He tells me the plants are delicate, but yet they didn't treat them that way. I will never hire this unprofessional company again and recommend that you don't hire them either. They have plenty of help to do a good job, but refuse to do so. This was a total rip off job to the tune of $500. I'm so sorry I hired this clown to do this job, every time I look at what they did it makes me sick and pissed that I didn't throw them off my property and paid them nothing. I've waited weeks to write this review, in hopes that the job would look better, but it doesn't. Thanks a lot, KAY GREEN LANDSCAPING FOR DOING A SHITTY JOB AND TELLING ME TO GO INSIDE. I should have kicked your ass to the curb and told you to take a hike.

Foundation Repair of CA (FRC) is the most disreputable, dishonest company I've ever encountered. I…read morehired them because I didn't want to hire the lowest bidder for a change, and I regret it. I wouldn't sign the contract when told I'd have to do my own masonry repair until sales agent Jesse Marquez showed me FRC corporate material that indicated the brick facade would be removed with a masonry saw, in an approximate 2x2' square. That was false and deceptive advertising. This is what they did to my house. No masonry saw was used, only impact drills, which act as small jackhammers. FRC significantly damaged the entire brick facade, adjacent areas showed extensive cracking, entire areas had the brick facade knocked completely off the house, and the wall foundation was separated from the brick wall entirely. I told the work crew, headed by Luis, to stop using impact wrenches on the bricks immediately, then told them TWICE. Not only did they not stop, despite direct STOP work orders, they then took all of the bricks they'd destroyed, which legally is theft, called conveyance. Jesse Marquez explained that the bricks were so old they'd shattered. Luis returned the bricks after Jesse Marquez called, ignoring my several phone calls and texts. Jesse texted that the bricks were so old they'd shattered. Luis returned them, none were shattered, all were broken by the impact drills. Luis confirmed, texting that the bricks were "broken". They took the bricks to hide the damage. The day FRC received my Contractor's State Licensing Board complaint, FRC messaged that someone would come to assess the damage for repairs, and FRC would repair the masonry they'd destroyed. They first sent Robert Pagan, who acknowledged both that there were no masonry saw marks, and that the damage was excessive. According to FRC, Jesse stated Robert hadn't said this. It wasn't until I pointed out he'd said it while standing in front of a Ring camera did that lie die. FRC then sent Troy Knight, who acknowledged the same, and stated he was there to help, and would see that the masonry was repaired and more. I have several texts, voicemails and emails from FRC stating they will complete the job. They never did. FRC employee Mike Crites was sent to perform the repairs. He returned the following week with the wrong sized bricks in the wrong color, and proceeded to do more damage. This is the work that they did. FRC employee Mike Crites initially stated that he had retired as a mason, he later revised that statement, saying he'd only worked with pavers and concrete. The work performed was so substandard, FRC sent Jovincio, who was the only honest person in my entire dealings with FRC. Jovencio said he wasn't a mason, but had "some training". Jovencio replaced the work done by Mike Crites. This is Mike's effort, and Jovincio's replacement work. The work performed is clearly substandard and unacceptable. FRC acknowledged the workers sent lacked the skills, training and necessary certifications to perform masonry repairs. When I requested that FRC send a mason, and included photos of the work, FRC responded that they'd done me a favor; the workers sent were a courtesy. The very clause they'd ignored (and invalidated) by removing the bricks was cited. That they would do no more, leaving me with the bill for their damage. This is what they left. I obtained a second quote to repair the deficient masonry 'work' FRC workers had done - without a REQUIRED permit, with no mortar pins, odd-sized and broken bricks mortared in randomly, mortar lines that range from non-existent to more than an inch. Crites' also removed the brick facade foundation in several sections, replacing it with sloppy concrete. This is a code-violating 'repair' that is neither plumb nor square. The legitimate mason company from whom I obtained a repair quote updated the quote, which has nearly doubled BECAUSE of the 'repairs' performed by the unqualified FRC employees. FRC called this doing me a favor, saying the inept crew was sent as a 'courtesy'. This is not doing me a favor, this is not a courtesy, this is at best fraud. After signing the contract (under false pretenses), Jesse insisted I needed an additional pier ($3,155) because piers can no longer be placed under a window. A pier was placed under the window. Two other piers were not placed according to the county approved structural engineering ($1,850) diagram. Half the piers were installed in the wrong places, apparently according to Luis' whims. Yesterday Groundworks gave an estimate on properly placing those piers. That's how I learned that the improperly placed piers had lifted a joist completely off its foundation supports. This, too, will require additional expense to correct, before it damages my house - literally to the roof. I should have stuck with Groundworks. This is your cautionary tale - no one who values integrity, ESPECIALLY senior women, shouldn't hire FRC.

Our whole back yard includes all kinds of complex work, wood deck, wood bench, turf, concrete planter, fence, water fountain, Pergola. It's really hard to find good contractors to do all these jobs in one team. And the result is amazing! During the work, our communication is smooth and efficient. If there's feedback to Jimmy during construction, he would react quickly and match our requirement. It took about 3 months for our back yard to complete.
