Terrible service. No visible waitstaff. Went inside to grab drinks & chicken wings. Sat there at least 45 mins, didn't see 1 staff member. No problem. Assumed it's a go order & bring it to your table things. My brother went inside to grab fries. A waitress, Jess, showed up out of nowhere to tell us that was "outside" food and didn't we see the sign. Also had another waiter come over & harass us for the same thing. This is a big communal patio with a couple of different restaurants but we were somehow supposed to know that 1 counter over the other was off limits. Don't eat here. The waitstaff will treat you badley. Never mind we spent money on activities, drinks & food - that we had to throw away. When you have to overpay for fries. To throw them away hurts. On our trip up in the mountains, we decided to take the gondola up to Peak 8 and have a drink at T-Bar. There is a great view of the mountains, and it is packed with skiers coming in to warm up from the cold. Even if you aren't skiing it is fun to come here and hang out! We walked in and sat ourselves. It gets really busy in here -we were lucky that we could even find a seat. Our waitress took a long time to come to our table. We finally ordered 2 Moscow mules. They were good (a little pricey), nice on a wintery day. The waitress never really came back to see if we needed anything else. Finally she came by and we got our check. I get that it is busy, but service could definitely be better. Needless to say it was fun to hang out at a ski bar for a little while and enjoy the mountain life. read more

I've been spending plenty of time at the T-Bar recently, because we've been snowboarding on some ridiculously cold days and I've needed a place to warm up. While warm up I can do here, on thing I cannot do is sit down. Ever! I've never been able to snag a seat inside. It's crazy packed on weekends from mid-day all the way through the afternoon when lifts close, and probably even after. And I've waited a looooong time for tables on more than one attempt. That's a big negative. Another negative is that the bathrooms only have three stalls and there is always a long line that snakes out into the bar and crowds the area even more. I've learned to walk next door to One Skill Hill Grill to use their much larger restrooms. But on the positive side, the T-Bar makes delicious drinks and offers some awesome draft beers, including my favorite - Redhook ESB. You don't see that every day! However, it'll cost you $6.50, so I won't be drinking it every day either. I ordered a hot toddy last weekend and it was only $6.50 also, not a terrible deal on-mountain especially when many of the fancier hot drinks on their menu run $8-9. They sound delicious though, especially the one with Breckenridge Distillery bourbon and apple cider, yum. They also make a mean bloody mary and a nice salty dog. I haven't eaten here yet, because I'm still waiting on that elusive chance to actually be seated to enjoy it. I've seen plates piled high with cheese-smothered tri-colored tortilla chip nachos coming out of the kitchen that look like they weigh 20 pounds. That's at the top of my list to try. So, I will keep coming back for the chance to try the food, the drinks, the friendly and efficient bartenders who pour them, the plentiful TVs, the frequent live music, the warm fireplace and especially the people-watching. Oh nelly, there is some fine people watching here that can entertain me for hours. I also love that all of the seats and stools at tables and the bar each have two hooks on the back for hanging jackets, helmets, gloves, purses or anything else you're packing that day. read more

Great view of Peak 8 with all it has to offer. Menu was decent and would recommend the nachos. Drink prices were quite reasonable for Breckenridge. Bloody Marys were fantastic! Lots of TVs showing a variety of sports. Could spend hours there just relaxing and taking in the sights. read more

At the bottom of Peak 8, this is the place to be during lunch break on the slopes. It's packed with first come, first serve seating so it's kind of a mad house. The bloody mary was great! The food isn't anything special, but it's somewhere you can sit down with a waitress, warm up, and enjoy the liveliness. I am curious if this is a good place to go for post-skiing happy hour. read more

T-Bar. . .what can I say? It's the easiest place for apres on peak 8. That's more evident in Breck, where the bulk of bars and restaurants are off-base on Main Street. No biggie, but sometimes you just wanna strap off, stroll in, and grab a drink. And T-Bar does exactly that! The crowd has always been chill when I've come here over the years. Definitely venture out and try other places, but this is a safe default. read more

Perfect place to grab a beer at the top of the mountain. We enjoyed several beers here over Labor Day weekend, while basking in the sun on their patio. Views are breathtaking of course, and the beer is cold. What more could you ask for? read more

I went with a friend for her birthday to the fun park. We decided to have a few drinks and some lunch, we stopped into the T-Bar. I walked up and waited for the bartender to stop talking to her coworkers sitting at the bar in their work outfits. When she noticed me she let out a big sigh and dragged her feet to come take my order. After pouring the very different sized drinks she dropped them on the bar in front of me and demanded $12.00. I was given no option for food or future drinks. My friend and I shrugged it off and walked out to the patio so we weren't bothering her anymore and reevaluated our dining options. We were on the patio for about 15 minutes before the same bartender came out and asked 3 other tables if they wanted a refill, then walked right by us. Another 5 minutes later she came out, came right up to us and asked, "So are you gonna order food or just crash the patio?" At that point my friend and I were too shocked to actually respond and we must have taken too much of her time. She turned to the table next to us, yanked a menu from their table slapped it down on ours and walked away. We were finishing our drinks and another employee came out to take our order. We promptly chugged our drinks and ran, before we could be a hindrance to the staff! read more

Eh. It's a bit overkill. First of all, those $25 nachos are not worth it. Largest nachos I've ever seen (maybe), but not the tastiest. Felt like it was sitting for a while before getting to our table... chicken was a bit cold. Second, what's with the club music? There's often a DJ there dropping beats and it kind of just takes away from the mountain atmosphere. Service is hit or miss... but I feel like they put up with a lot of crap since it's such a circus in there. It's pretty difficult to find a table. They make a fine Bloody Mary (though it can get a little coarse/chunky with all that black pepper). But hey, unless you feel like making your way over to the other peaks, it's pretty much your only choice for a decent Apres. read more

WORST.SERVER.EVER. First of all she didn't take our order for over 30 minutes. Secondly, she refused to go around the table to get someone's order so she didn't have to shout out her order. Thirdly, she "disciplined us" when another server took one of our chairs when a person from out party got up, and we retrieved it and when we tried to retrieve it the first time, we were told by the other server that she is a contract employee and we are taking business away from her. Fourthly, we were a party of 9 and our server didn't give us our itemized receipt so my dad almost doubled her tip when the tip had already been included. I had to ask to see the itemized receipt and that is when it was discovered that the tip had already been added in. She also never mentioned the fact that the tip was already included. Good food and great views! However, this does not make up for the attitude we got form the waiter. My beer was dropped on the table, spilled all over me and he just walked away. Last ski season, this was a go to aprés ski stop. No longer. The menu is now VERY limited and even pricier. The nachos, which were to die for, are no longer. Now its simply an over crowded, super over priced bar with sub par food options. Sad to see the changes go in the wrong direction. read more

The food is mostly if not all mexican...AND IT IS DAMN GOOD! the drinks were pretty good and we actually watched the superbowl here after a day of riding...We managed to get a buzz and had a pretty good time here, our waitress you could tell was stressed but she seeemed fun and was helpful We managed to ring up a decent tab but it was worth it...Definitely try the carnitas tacos and the EL JEFFE MARGARITA Ill be back for sure, its nice to have a place thats actually worth the money when your on the mountain, im sick of $13 cheeseburgers, $9 for 3 tacos was well worth it for how great they were! read more

This place used to be a fun place to take a lunch break during a ski day, if you had the patience to wait for a table or were willing to hover while another table finished paying. The menu was pretty decent, definitely steps above your basic bar food and, surprisingly cheaper than the cafeteria for at Ski Hill Grill next door. Went there today for lunch and was disappointed to find that the menu was completely different! Aesthetically, and the food it included. It's 2016, and this is Colorado, so it pretty much goes without saying that a restaurant is highly likely to encounter patrons with dietary restrictions. This new menu catered to none of them. Speaking as a vegetarian, I was really disappointed with my prospects. Nothing on the menu was vegetarian friendly as written. There was a grilled cheese from which you could leave out bacon. A few salads that came with bacon, salmon, chicken. Ended up ordering a salad without bacon, recommended by the server, who essentially said the kitchen will not make accommodations to their menu items (except to leave out an ingredient, if possible-wouldn't even make a wrap sandwich from a salad). I wasn't expecting much, and my expectations were not even met by this super boring salad. My friend and i ordered a Citradelic, which was on draft and in cans, but we specified draft. When the server returned, she had three cans of Citradelic (friends husband ordered also) and informed us that they were out of Citradelic on draft. Fine- Husband kept the can, Friend and i switched out orders. The server made it very clear to us that it was a hassle to go void out the canned beers for our tab. Come to find out later when we get the check that we were still charged for the draft even though we got the can (12oz vs 20oz). Whatever. My biggest issue is the changed menu and inflexibility of the kitchen. Now that I know I won't have, really, any good options for food at T Bar I don't think I'll be returning. Plenty of other ways to throw my money at Vail Resorts. read more

Bartender walked past us numerous times for nearly 20 min looking right past us today at 300 pm. She needs some more experience.

I went to this bar yesterday and thought the customer service I experienced was horrible. The strange thing is it seemed the bartenders were very nice to all the other patrons. One of the bartenders tried to overcharge me for a simple cocktail. I think he thought he needed to work his "tip" into the price. I may take my family to Winter Park next time instead. I will definitely relate the story to my colleagues. Zero stars if possible. I guess I should mention that I am not Caucasian as 98% of the other customers were. read more

Don't waste your time or money here. I went to Breckinridge for spring break with a huge group of friends and whenever we would finish skiing we would always come to the T-Bar to have a drink. I was exhausted from skiing all day and went to the bar to order a drink, and the bar tender was the rudest man I have ever dealt with in my life. He asked for my ID (I am 21 about to turn 22 in may, in his defense I do look young) and he said that my picture looked nothing like me and asked for a second form of identification. "You look about 10 shades darker in this picture there's no way this is you." He said. Only other thing I had was my credit card with my name on it. He said "you're getting old Brooke" as he finally made my drink and said that'll be $10, I had $11 in my hand and I was not about to tip for a $10 drink when he had been so rude to me. I gave him the $10 and he said "you know it's going to be a long week if you don't tip your bar tenders." I was astonished at how someone could be so rude to a customer. I threw down a $1 bill and walked away. I will never be going back to this place. I wish I remembered the name of this man but he was absolutely awful. read more
