I have nothing but love for this place. I'm crushing on the atmosphere, the food, and the drinks, and pretty much everything else in Addison is dead to me now. It's the closest thing this part of town has to anything in the "speakeasy" category, and while it's not one, it does mix sleek modern and vintagey retro very well. It doesn't really say "Mad Men" to me, but I've heard that analogy used multiple times, so maybe it will to you. Huge, HUGE bonus points for nightly piano music and/or swanky crooners in general. LOVE. They do have 1 TV (grumble) but it's off in the corner with the sound off, so I rarely even notice it. (Hell, maybe there's 2--one in the corner at each end, I forget. Again, it's a non-issue really.) Ok, so we've been here multiple times now and sampled more than a few of the dishes. The bacon-wrapped dates are obscene, I tell you. The crab cakes, bacon macaroni and cheese, petite filet, the Wellington burger, dammit, all the things, they're pretty damn killer. Chef Ted does right by every dish. On one of our earlier ventures, one of the owners (or THE owner, who knows) stopped by to ask us our impression of the menu, as they were a little concerned it might be on the heavy side for the ladies. He may have been asking the wrong ladies since I'm cool with a fat steak anytime of day, but honestly, I've heard crazy raves about the salads--the wedge in particular. They even have a salad I might order and I never order salads (it had me at "frosted pecans," not to mention the raspberry vinaigrette, spinach, and fresh berries.) Last but not least, the drinks and the people who work here. God if only my diet and wallet could support coming here daily, I would. Really neat people behind the bar who are great to talk to and have an obvious talent and love for creating drinks. Even the basic cocktails get a fresh twist. If you get Dave behind the bar, you can't possibly go wrong. Even if the food and atmosphere here were garbage, I'd still come just to see him. Ask him for a Manhattan--they're the best I've ever had and that's my go-to drink all over town. Seriously, he's won awards for it. This restaurant is amazing. The service, the food, the live music, everything contributes to an amazing ambiance. This is somewhere you could spend a birthday dinner yet somewhere you'd be fine coming to on a random Tuesday. The hostess Jennifer is amazing, accommodating and so kind. She went above and beyond for us. Got us the closest booth to the band and a gift card for a future visit for our anniversary. Our waiter, Chris, was attentive and responsive once we saw him. We waited a while to get our water & original bottle of wine but afterwards everything was timely. Steak Diane, cowboy ribeye - both delicious. Creamed spinach, ok but not the best I've ever had. Mashed potatoes - creamy but could use more seasoning. Great wine selection and bar. Definitely have to visit. read more

Private lot parking....it has been open 4 months. In the corner off inwood and beltline. Used to be Dodie's...same company though you would never know it. Walk in...(appropriately dressed...dress code required...to a non smoking...thank goodness...reason I avoid Addison...) and you are warmly greeted in superb ambiance with a coat of modern decor dashed in chandeliers and Frank Sinatra style tunes. We were not dining but loved the by the bottle list as we sat at the bar. Date for dinner soon. The by the glass needs work...but we found a reserve of vanilla and banana Heaven with life notes that will kiss your insides for memories to douse and dance. 3 hours later we left. We will return. Stepping into this restaurant will immediately give you that "out of town" swanky feeling. I feel most comfortable walking in in my nicest cocktail dress with my man dressed in his best suit (as he always is). There is always live jazz piano to set whatever mood you wish to cater. The best part is you can rest assured that the crowd will be upscale professional unlike most restaurants in Addison. Nothing like it in Dallas that I've found. It did have a Mad Men feel. The only thing that was odd at the restaurant was the TV - it could be seen by the entire restaurant and it took away from the ambiance of the place. In an upscale locale such as this, there is no place for a television. If you go, take the opportunity to dress up! Food was great. We had crab cakes, salads, New York Strip, onion rings and shrimp scampi. Portions were huge - neither of us could finish our food. For desert we had bananas foster (made the old fashion way) and the chocolate lava type cake. The drinks were right on, too. A very good Rusty Nail. The wait staff was attentive, the owner stopped by a couple of times (he was in a great 3 piece suit!) and the place was hopping' on a Thursday evening. The decor was perfect and the Alberto Vargas pin up girl prints were perfect. They've only been open a couple of weeks, but f they can keep the food quality this high as well as continue with the live performers regularly, this should be a popular place. Excellent description of the food we ordered which started with the bacon wrapped dates stuffed with blue cheese and then followed with the Chateau Briand which was plenty of delicious food. Pretty meh experience overall. Then a pretty horrible experience later on in the bathroom. I ordered the tomato mozzarella salad which was pretty much just fast food sliced tomatoes and some funky tasting smoked mozzarella cheese and some strange dressing. I also had their beef Wellington which tasted good but I'm pretty sure ended up being too rare because later on, I had a pretty bad stomach ache from something I ate here. The live music is cool but the band is constantly taking breaks. The atmosphere is unique but the decor doesn't speak to the theme of the restaurant. And like half of the restaurant is too far to really see the band. Not a fan of this one folks. The service was certainly friendly but it doesn't make up for the mediocre food. One of the finest upscale dining events I have ever experienced! The atmosphere was formal w/o being fussy. The wait staff were consulate professionals, and totally focused team work was on display for those of you who understand how great restaurants work. I savored the salmon and garlic mashed potatoes, having first enjoyed a wedge salad w bacon and bleu cheese crumbles dressing. Dessert was a divine cherries jubilee! Great choice for a Mother's Day celebration. The atmosphere calls back to the Sinatra "rat pack" days with lots of celebrity pictures and nostalgia. The white table clothes and the well tailored waiters in matching coats, was reminiscent of days when going out was a time to dress up and look sharp. Our waiter, Jose, took good care of the table from start to finish. The food was perfectly prepared and presented. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food and the live jazz piano music. Just absolutely lovely! We went there on a Monday night for their Country Club Special--$25 for filet mignon or salmon, salad and green beans! What a great deal. And there's even live music on Monday nights. It wasn't crowded, so we started with a drink at the bar (great cocktails), and then had a leisurely dinner. Service was excellent and super friendly. We went here over the Christmas break with family mostly because it is something of a dinner show. .. well not really. . But they do have live music from the rat pack Era and we thought that would appeal the the "oldies". Turns out we loved the night even more than us. The singer on our night was Goga who was the main reason for eating here as we love his live singing. We were seated closer to the entrance just so it wouldn't be too loud abs that was perfect because he really belts them out. The whole restaurant really did have an old school Las Vegas feel to it. Not just with the singing but the menu had items like shrimp cocktail and beef wellington. I had the shrimp cocktail which was amazing. Biggest shrimp I have ever seen! I had the steak for my main and while good it didn't compare to other steakhouses in town. Still. . For the price, service and entertainment I will certainly come back. So much YES! My husband took the charge and picked a place for our first wedding anniversary since we were doing a "staycation" to celebrate. When we drove up to the parking lot, I definitely wondered what kind of place he was taking me to or that I would have picked something fancier... Man was I wrong! Table 13 is everything I wanted and more. Not too pretentious but is just elegant inside. We were seated in the private room to the right side of the restaurant - initially I wanted to be closer to the live music but on second thought, no this was a lot nicer and more intimate, even if we were the only two-top in a room full of large parties. Our waiter, Jose, was awesome. He explained the history of the restaurant, their specials, and took great care of us! I got the daily special lobster and filet. The lobster was really good and my husband's order of the ribeye was perfect too. The filet, not so much, but who cares because I loaded up on their amazing butter and bread and macroni (you have to order this). From our table, you could even catch the TV. OKC losing to the Spurs by almost 30 points in the playoffs, ouch. But the point is, this place is plenty entertaining, unique, and so fun. We're planning on bringing in the in-laws here sometime. Oh and to top this off, I suggested it to my coworker for her mother's day dinner and she reported back that the entire family loved it - even her teenage kids! My wife and I decided to try Table 13 for her birthday. The service was good , and the Ambiance was excellent. Just an advisory, I would say the crowd was probably between 45 and 55 years old. If you're looking for a truly retro place this is it. The cocktails were outstanding, and the main course was good. I had the 12 ounce ribeye, and I asked for medium rare. I did have to send the steak back because it was rare, but I had a new steak within 5 minutes. The crab cake was delicious, the lobster bisque was above average. Avoid the mac and cheese and the onion rings. The mac and cheese was average, and the onion ring batter was very heavy. The bananas foster was excellent, stay away from the chocolate cake. It did not have much flavor. All and all, if you're looking for a nice restaurant that is reasonably priced check it out. We will go back again read more

Last night we went to Table 13 and walked out after waiting for our food for an hour and 10 minutes. Great vibe and decor, excellent bartender and drinks- but awful waiter unfortunately. We had an 8:30 reservation and got there early to have a drink at the bar. Sat at out table at around 8:40 and ordered an expensive bottle of wine and some escargot. We also ordered Beef Wellington to split and some sides at the same time. Our app came out at around 9pm. At 10:10 we were out of wine and still waiting for our dinner! Ended up talking to manager who was nice, but paid our check and went to eat dinner somewhere else! Such a shame because we eat out a lot and live close by. read more

The atmosphere and live music were great. The drinks were tasty too. I asked for medium rare lamb chops which arrived rare. I had them sent back and they came back just as rare. They were nicely flavored and thankfully not overcooked, but for the priciness I would expect a chef to achieve medium rare when asked. I went with a colleague from work, but it looks like a great place to go on a date or have an anniversary. I would try it again if I lived in the area. A brilliantly old-school fine dining experience, with fun 60's kitsch in a tasteful decor. This is the kind of place where the waiters wear jackets and have been doing this sort of thing for YEARS - you can put yourself in their capable hands and enjoy a fantastic evening. The food is classic, but by no means dated. In fact, it's some of the finest execution of your favorites that you'll find - the red velvet cake being a clear example. We were there for Valentine's day and enjoyed their prix fixe menu, which included some of the highlights of their regular offerings. Lots of familiar recipes, but all done fantastically well, often with a new twist. Like goat cheese croquettes with a strawberry-balsamic reduction glaze, or a take on shrimp cocktail with oil-poached shrimp. Definitely try the Lobster Dinner and the Filet + Scallops entrees. Music kicked off about 6pm and was the best of the Rat Pack era to follow the theme. Great band and a good complement to the ambiance. The bar looked like a fantastic place, but we didn't get to try it out. Great place, perfect for taking out clients or a special evening! read more

What a great restaurant. We came out for Restaurant Week and saw so many tasty items on the standard menu that we have to come back and try more (I mean come on - Beef Wellington!). Our feast tonight was from the restaurant week menu and included a salad, lobster Bisque, Sea Bass and a Pork Chop. All were very good, with both proteins cooked perfectly. We opted for the Banana bread pudding and their chocolate Kahlua cake for dessert. They were awesome. 5 stars for a excellent meal at $35 per person plus $15 for two glasses of wine. Holy heck. Amazing from start to finish. Began with the bacon-wrapped blue cheese dates. As Ron Swanson would say, that's my #1 fave food wrapped around my #3 fave food. The house salad was good. The dressing accumulated on the bottom, but that's gravity, folks. My parents opted for filets while I had the salmon. Was it the most amazing fish ever? No, but definitely top 5! This was the worst salad/Caesar salad I have ever had - no taste, flavor, color!!! All of the other food was horrible too - taste & smell. This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to!!! Do not go to this restaurant, go to Chamberlains Fish Market - it is a marvelous place!!! The decor is okay, a little on the cheap & flimsy side, way too close to other tables - you could have a very intimate conversation with the people. We felt like we were in a cafeteria or fast food restaurant. There was a piano player who was really good - beautiful voice and music. We had heard about Table 13 from a friend so decided to try it for husbands birthday dinner. I made reservations for 8pm but arrived at 7:30 and they were able to accommodate us immediately which was great. Our waiter, Josh, explained the concept of Table 13 (I'll save that for you to learn about when you go) and madd great drink and food recommendations. We had the Table 13 Titos Martini and they were strong and good! We enjoyed the Bacon Wrapped Dates which were delicious and I highly recommend (you get 6 of them). The wedge was just right and really shouldn't be shared as suggested bc it's really not big enough. Husband had the beefsteak salad and it was this HUGE tomato with mozzarella in between. That was shareable! I had tomato soup and he had sea bass and both were great! They gave us a complimentary dessert (lemon cake) for the birthday boy. The Live music started at 8:30pm and the restaurant which is fairly small filled up fast! Not once did they rush us which was really nice! They seemed to manage their reservations well and you really need those reservations after 8!! The decor was that old Hollywood style and the waiters dressed the same. The owner stopped by our table to greet us during our meal. It was a nice evening and I recommend it for couples on a date night! read more

I have been wanting to try Table 13 for some time. When an old friend came to town for her birthday, it was the perfect opportunity to book a birthday lunch. I booked through Open Table at 3pm. There were only two other occupied tables, so the experience should have been excellent. I love the nostalgic atmosphere. The menu selections are awesome. Actually the food and drinks were very, very good. It was the service that was less than stellar. No one ever offered to refill our water glasses. We were treated as if we were a bother, instead of customers. Was it just a bad afternoon? If so, everyone there was having a bad afternoon. Me and my partner were in Dallas for a night and wanted to do something special. We found raving reviews about Table 13 and how perfect it was for a date. So without knowing much else, we set off. We were a little intimidated by the dress code at first, we weren't sure if we dressed nice enough but we were greeted with open arms and big smiles. Right from the moment you walk in the atmosphere is so relaxing! We were sat immediately, by some miracle. Our waiter was so kind and exuberant! He made a wonderful wine suggestion for me that I absolutely loved. And his overall service was 5 stars. For food we went with their bacon wrapped dates and we both went for the same chef special for the night, blackened mahi mahi. But I think my personal favorite thing at Table 13 was the AMAZING live music! The band played so well and helped create that beautiful vibrant energy. Everything was so flavorful and delicious. The wine complimented the food perfectly and it was all over just such a lovely experience. The staff at Table 13 sure made sure of that! So the first time I came here, 3 years ago: awesome. Now? Meh. Maybe less than meh. First, the music: turn it down! It's supposed to be live music, but not a Vegas lounge act. Couldn't hardly hear the conversation and we weren't near the speakers. Can't imagine sitting closer. Waited awhile to get drinks and apps ordered, but got bread plates. Didn't get the bread until half way through the main course, but the plates look nice! Apps were ok. Average crab cake and less than average steak tartare. And after (long after) the apps and drinks were done, the waiter noticed we still had menus and hadn't ordered the main course. Main course filet, medium? Try medium-well for mine and well done for my wife. And dry. The potatoes and gravy underneath were also dry, but at least they didn't taste great. Our food took extremely long to come out and the service was mediocre. There isn't a lot of room on the restaurant floor, so if you get stuck in the middle aisle tables.. Prepare to feel cramped. I had the sirloin steak (nothing to write home about at all) and my husband had the ribeye that was overwhelmingly filled with fat. After reading many reviews, I decided on Table 13 to celebrate my birthday dinner on a Thursday night with the girls. It was a mixed bag and I drew the wild card and said WTH! I'm glad we tried a new spot. The food and live entertainment was good. My friend couldn't get over how tasty the Steak Diane was and told the waiter several times. The restaurant is beautiful. The crowd skewed to the 50+ crowd. Our group was late 20s/early 30s. The service however, was lacking. There were 2 servers recommended repeatedly on OpenTable and I requested them by name when placing my reservation. I was the birthday girl and was overlooked numerous times when it came time to placing my drink order and food order. Everything just took entirely. way. too. long. We had a table for 6, so it was larger, but not anything entirely that much more complicated. Our table ordered the steak diane, oscar style filet, steak au poivre and salmon. We also had a sides buffet to include fingerling potatoes, mac and cheese, garlic herbed mushrooms, creamed spinach, mashed potatoes and fried asparagus. Everything was delicious but the standouts from the sides were definitely the mac and cheese and spinach. For adult beverages, we had the lady lemonade (delicious and for the lightweight like me, but sweet) and the dessert wines. DO NOT GET THE DESSERT WINES. You've been warned. When I asked for a recommendation based on liking very sweet wines, a fellow waiter recommended the $20 glass. I'm sorry but I am not paying $20/glass (even if he thinks its a great deal) for something I haven't tried before. I settled on a $10 Ruby and it was disgusting. These wines should not be on the menu... remove them immediately and hire a sommelier to build a credible wine list. I am a wine novice and their selection was offensive to me. A friend ordered a $12 glass and it was so bad that it tasted like rubbing alcohol. The waiter should have been well versed in the wine offerings considering there were only a few offered. They were all bad. Don't offer them! When I shared that we had a birthday cake to celebrate, the waiter said ok and was on his way. I had to ask for plates, silverware, and a knife. There was a whole candle fiasco where he thought I didn't want candles and then placed a single candle on the silver platter instead of the cake... very odd experience. I would not recommend coming here for a special occasion. The little details matter and Table 13 doesn't quite have them down. They did do a few things right other than the food and ambiance though and I need to give them credit for it. The decor is beautiful. To the guys who complained of the "naked lady" art on the wall... they were tasteful and nothing offended our party. The manager did come by early in the meal to check on us. At the end when the waiter boxed up my cake, he dropped off a happy birthday card with a $25 GC to return next time. This would've been a nice touch if it didn't seem like an afterthought. I had let them know it was a birthday celebration when we made the reservation. I'd be willing to try another time with my husband since the food was so good, but I'm hoping for better service next time. read more
