The official Live Mas Café is this one located on East H Street! The fast food chain has transformed itself into a cafe. Special edition shakes such as their Churro Chillers and some coffee creations that aren't offered at other Taco Bell locations can be ordered here. I wasn't too hungry but I was in the area and still wanted to check out the cafe. They still offer pretty much all your Taco Bell favorites so rest assured. I noticed they have unique flavored agua frescas as well but my interest was towards their churro chillers. I ordered a Wild Strawberry Churro Chiller and my friend ordered a Caramel Coffee. The strawberry churro chiller is extremely sweet and might have been the sweetest shake I have ever tasted. I wish they toned this down by a LOT because the flavor was delicious. To pair it with an even sweeter item we ordered a Cinnabon Delight (2pcs). Most of the ordering comes from their touch screen displays as I thought was efficient. The place is modern and decorated differently than your average Taco Bell, but with limited seating. There were outlets on a big group table so you could actually utilize it as an actual cafe, although I felt a little weird doing so! Overall, it's a pretty cool cafe that Taco Bell has decided to open here in Chula Vista.

Really love the new design of this Taco Bell Cantina! Very modern, and the use of the giant touchscreens for ordering made it easy to order and customize. Plus, they offered free drink samples while we were there. With that, there are a lot of drinks to choose from, and I did enjoy them although they did ran on the super sweet side. Best part is that the full food menu is also available there, so got to order my favorites like the nacho fries, chalupas and the Crunchwrap supreme.

I was so excited to finally visit the only Live Más Cafe in existence! I came in around 11am on a Sunday with a big group, and there was more than enough room for us. Because of the kiosks, ordering went by pretty quickly. I got to try the Cinnavanilla Coffee Churro Chiller and the Milk churros! My fiance got the Bee Keeper's Horchata cold brew latte (canned) I also got my staples - chalupa and Doritos Los Tacos.

Went to try out the new Taco Bell concept. Wow! What a waste!! Starbucks it isn't. They took out the dining area. They definitely don't want you to stay and eat. They put in a few blenders and offer sickeningly sweet drinks. I thought they would have Jamaica, horchata etc. No they just have 7-11 type drinks. I had to use the new order pads and that was a pain. Very disorganized. I ordered extra sauces jalapeño, chipotle for an extra charge and a 'swap' of a sauce for the nacho fries. No ability to get a receipt (text or email, or no receipt, no thanks) Got home NO sauces. Zero. I went back through the drive through and explained that I had no receipt to show that I ordered extra sauces. She spoke to someone. I got two tiny sauces, about a teaspoon each. I paid for that?!?!

The Live Mas Cafe is the first in SD county and the only location you can order Taco Bell's specialty drinks. This is the only TB I'd be happy to hang out and dine in. It's immaculately clean, the service is great, employees are super friendly and helpful. We ordered the strawberry line refrescas freeze and the Mexican chocolate churro chiller. The Chuuro Chillers are their top selling item so we had to try it. The crunchy bits on top and bottom of the drink were nice and added texture, the drink itself was smooth and tasty but not my thing. The Strawberry Line Freeze was super sweet, tart, and refreshing. I'd definitely order it again. They were out of the midnight cherry freeze which is what I really wanted. They also have a dirty Baja blast which has cream that I'd like to try. It's a far drive but may be worth checking out for true TB fans and followers. You can also order food off their regular menu, but make sure to try one of the drinks you can't find anywhere else.

I wouldn't have known that the Live Más Cafe was here if not for social media. I wasn't sure what to expect other than they offer a variety of beverages and this is the first time launching it. I popped a lactaid and left my fate up to the porcelain gods lol. I decided to try the mexican mocha churrochiller and also tried the cantina chicken taco. Im not a coffee drinker but i thought this tasted good. They had little crumbles on the top and bottom of the drink. The churcco chillers come in one size and you can also swap this in place of a soda if you order a meal. My friends also ordered a dirty baja blast, strawberry churro chiller and cinnavanilla churro chiller - everyone happy with their choices. Everything is ordered through the computers. The interior was nice and bright, wall outlets if you need to do work. Parking is plenty as this is located in a small plaza. Sad to say, the lactaid couldn't hold me down LOL i lived mas way too hard and suffered a little bit LOL If you like drinks like this, give it a try!

Livin' Màs now that I've been to a live màs cafe. Clean Taco Bell- quick service. Nicely shaped uncrushed crunchy tacos. Cinnabon Cinnavanilla Coffee Churro Chiller is the best one but pretty sweet. One sip will have you living the life màs lifestyle.

Wish there were more of these closer to me. Had to drive 45 min to get here. Worth the drive. Tried a few of the chillers (Mexican churro/cinnamon vanilla coffee/ strawberry) I like how easy it was to order on the kiosks (since that's all they have) fast and easy. Clean restaurant and bathrooms! My experience was great:)

Fun place to go with great service. Several fun new menu items to try. Definitely never been to a Taco Bell like this before. I would recommend anyone in the area stopping by.

This taco barely has any meat or lettuce. Completely unsatisfying.

Every single time I order online for pickup, my order comes out completely wrong. The food is always made with zero effort and somehow always miss something from customized item. We ordered Doritos loco taco and it had a pinch of meat and lettuce. We also ordered a grilled cheese burrito And they completely forgot the grilled cheese crust which is the whole point of this item.

Service was really fast and sweet but I was a little disappointed with the strawberry chiller. I was expecting a thick shake or smoothie and it melted immediately to just milk. The churro topping was really crunchy (it is just cinnamon and sugar). I'll have to try one of their blended freezes but I have a feeling they'll be really icy too.

Such a cool concept! Loved the drinks and friendly service! Hope they roll out the cafe concept to more locations!

This is such a cool Taco Bell! We drove all the way to Chula Vista not realizing it was lunch time and there is a high school across the street! No worries. You order on the screen and it is pretty efficient. I was disappointed that I couldn't get whip cream on my strawberry chiller but it was still delicious. I loved my grilled bean and cheese burrito with guacamole and my son loved his spicy potato tacos. We also got the nachos and cheese sauce. My son got a limeade type of drink and he liked it. I would highly recommend going. Check out my video if you want to see it live. https://youtu.be/dN0sWuqQNyQ

The Carne Asada Taco has a smoky beef flavor, and the quesadilla with corn tortilla has that seared cheese effect that you can only get with Oaxaca cheese, which is like a Mexican Mozzarella. I highly recommend pairing a quesadilla with your tacos. You can order it from any line. I've been going to Tacos El Gordo for almost 25 years now and it is still legit! The tacos were around $4 which is pretty average but I thought their tacos were a bit bigger than average and had a good amount of meat. I usually can do two bites at other taco places but I have to take three bites here lol. The cabeza tacos were so tender and the carne asada tacos had a nice smoking taste to them. I also like how they came with a good amount of guac and you can also get a side or extra guac if you want more which was very nice of them. The plain quesadillas are simple but something about it was taste soo good, might be the cheese that they use and their handmade tortilla. I'm not too fan of their ordering system as there are around 5-7 different lines depending on what item/meat you want. If you want carne asada, you have to line up and then you have to line up at another line if you want another type of meat. Some lines are longer than others so I feel like my food gets cold by the time I get my second order and then I have to line up to pay. Both times I came, I came around 10-11pm and they ran out of the green sauce. They have a parking lot in the back so I prefer this location than the one at gaslamp.

Having the rotating salsa carousel right at the table is super convenient, and the peanut salsa (salsa cacahuate) was a standout. As for the food: * Pastor: Definitely the highlight. Shaved thin with crispy edges and great seasoning. Getting it as a Gringa with melted cheese in a flour tortilla is the way to go. * Carne Asada: Solid street taco, good char, and topped generously with cilantro and onion. * Lengua: Disappointing. It had a strong, off-putting smell right out of the gate that we couldn't get past, even trying to mask it with lime and salsa. The biggest downside of the visit was the flies inside the dining room. There were way too many buzzing around the tables, so half our meal was spent swatting them away from our plates and the open salsa containers. The trompo and salsas show a lot of promise, but management needs to address the fly issue and tighten up quality control on the specialty meats like lengua. Stick to the al pastor and gringas.

**The $0.95 credit card fee is the reason I won't be back.**…read more I really don't understand the logic behind charging customers an additional $0.95 simply for choosing to pay with a credit or debit card. Restaurants and businesses often seem to forget that accepting credit cards actually brings in **more business**. People carry less cash than they used to, and having the convenience of paying by card makes customers more likely to stop in and spend money. The restaurant benefits from accepting cards because it gives customers another way to pay and can generate sales that might not happen if cards weren't accepted. If a business decides to remove its credit card machine and accept cash only, it may quickly discover that it loses customers and revenue. But if you're going to accept cards, I don't believe the customer should be forced to pay an additional transaction fee for the privilege. For me, it's simple: **I refuse to pay an additional dollar just to use my credit or debit card.** Whether I choose cash, debit, or credit should be my choice without being penalized for using the payment method that's most convenient for me. The $0.95 may not seem like much, but it's the principle behind it. There are plenty of other places where I can spend my money without being charged an extra fee just for paying with a card. That is the reason for this bad review, and until Las Ahumaderas changes this policy and eliminates the fee, **I'll be taking my business somewhere else.** If ownership or management eventually changes this policy and gets rid of the fee, I'll gladly reconsider this review and remove it.

It's no secret that San Diego has tacos in…read morespades and being so close to the border, you'd think that a quest to find the perfect taco would be as simple as rolling down to the nearest taqueria. Except, it's not quite that simple. Many beloved staples have gone downhill, while some newer spots that might boast things like a Michelin mention or multiple locations ranging from TJ to Vegas contain more hype and gristle than tender meat and substance. Enter Chula Tacos. Chula is, and always was, the type of place that makes you forget that you're not actually in Tijuana. While part of me misses their OG Market Street location, seeing them with brick-and-mortars feels hard-earned and well-deserved. This location on Palm in IB is relatively easy to access from the freeway, but parking can be tricky. You can safely assume that it will be busy and you will either have to be very lucky or be willing to find a spot on the street. Out of all the times I've been here, it's always been crowded enough that I've never been able to find a table inside, but I enjoy sitting out on the patio next to the ahumederos. The first thing that hits you walking through the door is how amazing everything smells. The queue to the cashier takes you near a window showing the kitchen where you can see the Chula Tacos team making fresh tortillas, slicing meat from the trompos, grilling up jalapenos, nopales, onions, labio, and tripa. For me, it's not so much a challenge to decide what I want, it's more a challenge to keep myself from ordering everything. My usual is four tacos: two asada, two al pastor (but I've heard that I should also try their world famous keka). The tacos though? Perfection. Every time, the asada is the juiciest and most tender I've ever eaten, the al pastor is succulent and flavorful, and no taco in front of me is long for the world. At $3.50 each, every one of them is absolutely loaded. Three would honestly fill me up, but I always want four. After getting burned by spots that ask around 75% more and deliver anywhere between 25-50% less, Chula Tacos feels like an absolute godsend of a Tijuana-style taqueria and I can't see any other contenders being my go-to. So, when I say "Tacos will fix me," what I mean nowadays is "Chula Tacos will fix me."

The only downside to this establishment is the limited parking, which can make picking up your order a bit challenging during busy times. Their carne asada is one of the best in SD, so juicy & soft I love it, their Birria taco is good too but I prefer their order of Birria or broth & their Adobada is ok just a bit too marinated for me. They also have burritos, tortas & Mullitas & I recommend the Carne Asada form in those because I believe they have one of the best Carne Asada meats in SD. The customer service is really good, cooks are cool & fast & the girls on the register are really nice & the place is always clean.
