How wonderful it was to get such a warm welcome with a refreshingly genuine smile at taco bell. Because of the friendly, personable & professional treatment I received from a young lady named Rosie, it made up for a very inexcusable unsatisfactory experience I had from the taco bell off of azusa ave in west covina that I just had, causing me to leave and go travel to this branch in la puente. The staff here off hacienda Blvd was so attentive and conscientious of their customers both inside and outside at the drive thru. They were much busier than the one off azusa ave, yet they managed to serve their customers efficiently and without any form of discrimination. I appreciated that greatly. I would rather drive the distance to a branch that's further out for excellent quality service than getting purposely ignored and getting poor to no service like I did from the azusa ave w.c. branch. Hacienda and Francisquito. Too darn lazy to take my order. Price of food nowadays and the server, well supposed to be server was too lazy to take my order. I'm thinking part of the high price of a taco is paying for the service. I walked in noticed one gal was on break, betting it was the front counter girl. I walkbin see some dude come from the kitchen thinking he'll take my order. Then he says to plae y own order in the kiosk machine. No, take my order, I don't do that. Then he tries to play me for a fool. Well we're having problems with the internet and the front register isn't working so place your order there then I can ring you up o the drive register. Im not stupid, your register works, the drive ordering system works, not everybody is running inside to use the machine, headset microphone is working. Everything but that one register where the girl is on a break? Dude too lazy to take my order and take 3 steps over to the drive register. YOU GET PAID TO TAKE MY ORDER, not the other way around. I'm I going to get a discount for doing your work? And even more insulting, don't pretend the customers are stupid. I just walked out disgusted with the guy's helpful attitude. The girl working the drive thru was rude. I pulled up to the window, she gave me my total and she walked away. Then, I paid cash I gave her change so I wouldn't get coin back and she dropped it..and and only applied what she didn't drop to my total. This taco bell is ok they have free WIFI its clean and friendly and the food is always on point. I love there happy hour after 2pm so good. The dollar menu is cool because you can get hard and soft tacos for cheap. Also love the XXLL Nachos when they have them so good. read more

As much as I liked eating here as a kid, I really can't afford to anymore because we don't have the metabolism that we once we did, however, this review isn't about the food today. Regardless, Taco Bell is delicious. So these 5 stars belong to the gentleman that worked there at 2am. I wish I caught he name! But I was coming home late one night and one of my family members asked me to swing by and drop off some nachos. I hate disappointing my family so I stopped by the closests Taco Bell to the free, which was Baldwin Park. Unfortunately, to my dismay, they closed at 10pm. Just in case, I called Taco Bell in la puente and asked if they were open. A nice guy picked up the phone at 1:50 and told me that if I was on my way, he'd make sure I got my food. Dude. That's so awesome. I made it there, he was kind, and told me that if this happened again, just to give him a call. I had a horrible experience at the Taco Bell on North Hacienda on 6-19-21. I walked into the store to place a to-go order just before noon. I was the only customer in line, yet I waited about 10 minutes before being acknowledged. I felt completely ignored, as they took several drive through orders instead of taking my order. After I mentioned my wait to thw cashier, I eventually placed my order and paid by cash. The cashier disappeared for several minutes, then returned with my change. She dumped my change on the counter and said she no time to count it back to me. I have never written a Yelp review before, but the service was so poor I wanted to let others know. I also completed a survey letting them know of my experience, but have yet to get any response. Inaddition to the poor service, my food was cold and my order was incorrect. The order was perfect, since it was an online drive thru order, they had us confirm our order then had us pull up to the front to wait for the food to be cooked. Although my order was given wrong, the service here is fast and the environment is kept nicely clean.

This is the only real Taco Bell that tastes Mexican. Good cheap fix if you can't get the real deal. Around 6-7 pm this place is popping thru the drive thru. Okay, I know, I know its just a chain. But before you get your panties in a bunch, I'm writing this review solely based on their customer service. I don't know what it is about this particular location but the staff is ALWAYS on point. They are courteous, happy, and best of all HAPPY to serve you. Even if it is just a taco bell, they have excellent standards. Sit down restaurants can take a cue from this staff! I always leave that drive thru with a smile. I must agree... This Taco Bell is the best in the area and never disappoints...EVER! . I've been coming here for 8 years. I used to always bring my Grandpa by after his dialysis and with his special diet, they always made his burrito just right!!
