Finally. I've been waiting for this day to come. A time where management gets it right and hire good people that have a smile on their face (even if it's fake) but care about their job. But nah you can tell the people today care about doing a good job. It was such a great experience I wish I could give a tip. But since I can't, if management sees this, please congratulate the staff on their outstanding job today for making my 4 orders timely (to utilize rewards) and being very nice and friendly.

I was eating my food when I noticed mold on my Gordita Crunch. I called and no answer. This is so nasty.

    Taco Bell Enchrito

In Drive thru today I ordered an Enchrito the girl was rude said we don't make that I asked why I get it at other Taco Bell's. she reply's do want a chicken taco or something I explain No She replied very Rude what do you want! I drive to window ask her why she is rude and she continued to be rude. So I went to San Pablo Taco Bell where services is better and ordered my Enchrito with no problem in the drive thru. I refuse to spend $$$ at Taco Bell in Pinole I will just have to go to San Pablo if I want my Enchrito. See photo so maybe next time someone orders one, I got it in San Pablo Taco Bell where customer service is Great!

Upon I entering I go to counter because the 2 kiosk are pre occupied by customers who are having a little difficulty using the device . The guy at counter who was knelt down stands up and says if I can use kiosk I said I would but it's occupied so I continue waiting on guest who are using kiosk. A girl from mountain mikes comes in and must be a friend of Taco Bell employee who is smiling as they talk he takes her order I said oh now your open. He then offers to take my order now that he opens for the young lady I decline . I think if your kiosk are occupied cashier need to be readily available to customers. They had a smirk on there face after discussing my issue .Maybe since it's the 2-5 day part they are not worried about it. The food was decent they needed to stir scoop and tap the beans they were a little cold cheese was not melted . Rest of food was ok just need to work on customer service at this location.

The wet super burrito is massive and mine was packed with carnitas, pinto beans and all the fixings. On their board menu it said "super wet burrito", so that confused me for a second. Lol. The nachos order is big too though I might ask for yellow cheese and pinto beans next time instead of shredded cheese and refried beans. I like their blend of horchata too. It was slow and not crowded for a Sunday after 6 pm. I filled some of the tiny round containers with sauces, limes, and marinated veggies while waiting for my to go order. But when they are charging extra for stuff which is already in the ingredients... we'll u gotta stop and pause. I've frequent this taqueria a hand full of times and it's the closest mission style taqueria up here in pinole. It's always good service, tasty dishes with decent prices. That's why us humans go back. BUT when u charge extra for a certain type of proteins, there's room for questioning. So I ordered super nachos with carne asada as my meat and a small bottle coke. The total amount came to $24.40, I was surprised. I looked closer to the receipt and it was an extra $2.00 for the asada. Please just add it on the price or put it on the menu "extra for Carne Asada" so we don't get a little receipt shock. $25 dollars for super nachos and a small bottle of coke. Just saying "I won't be back anytime soon. Just wanna thank the trump voter's for the tariff's which makes everything more expensive. Great job.... NOT!!!

I grabbed a burrito here and ate it inside the movie theater with the red salsa and lemon, and it was so good I ate the entire thing. For context, I'm pretty petite and I usually can't finish a full burrito--but this one? I couldn't stop. It was that good. Super flavorful, satisfying, and just hit the spot in a way I wasn't expecting. At first, I thought it was a little pricey, but once you get the burrito, it makes sense. It's dense, filling, and honestly a big burrito--you're getting your money's worth. I've already been recommending this place to my friends, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for genuinely good food. I'm excited to come back and try more items on the menu. So good. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the East Bay.

I opted for a Super Burrito de Pollo at Don Rafa prior to their cutoff/closing time. Their burrito did not disappoint! I loved the way it was wrapped securely and grilled to perfection. Though this spot is known for their chicken, I didn't really experience anything unique about this wrapped meal. It was delicious and tasted how it should be, but I was hoping the "star" of this meal would be their chicken. I ate my burrito immediately and it was served at a decent temp. Perhaps, I'll give Don Rafa a 2nd chance and order a half (or whole chicken). The Birria Pizza looked appetizing as well. Don Rafa is located inside of the Food Barn Market and reminds me of a Latino version of a Pacific Supermarket. The restaurant appears somewhat modern, tidy and spacious, while the rest of the market area seems outdated.

The shrimp tacos were especially flavorful, topped with a creamy sauce that paired really well with the shrimp. The quesabirria tacos also had that nice crispy texture with the rich birria flavor that people look for. The restaurant itself is clean, organized and well set up, with outdoor seating available which is nice on a sunny day. It has a relaxed vibe where you can sit down with friends and enjoy your food without feeling rushed. The only thing I noticed across several of the dishes was that the portions of meat felt a little light compared to the tortilla or toppings. The flavor is absolutely there, but a slightly more generous portion of meat would make these dishes even better. Overall, solid spot with great flavor and a fun menu.
