I stopped by Taco Bell last night to try one of the new Live Mas drinks and ordered directly from the app. I pulled into the drive thru and everything was normal at first. When we got to the window the guy working read my name and for some reason and was moving super fast. It felt rushed from the start! He handed me my drink, shut the window, randomly says "Merry Christmas" (it's February...), then reopens it abruptly again to give us our food. Instead of just handing it to us, he kind of tossed the bag at us and immediately shut the window again. Because he was moving so fast, he ended up dropping the bag with our order onto the dirty drive thru ground. Once he realized what happened his whole demeanor completely changed. Thankfully the actual food wasn't ruined but all the sauces fell on the ground and we had to actually get out the car to retrieve the food. It just really left a bad taste in my mouth. I totally understand wanting to have fun at work but there is a difference between being playful and being careless. It was honestly an upsetting experience overall and I left there pretty annoyed. I'm hoping for a little more professionalism and care in the future. read more

Came here and the music is SO LOUD! I asked if they could turn it down and the employees told me that corporate sets the music volume and they have no way to change it in the store. I called corporate. It was so loud that I actually downloaded a decibel app to measure how loud it was. 80-85 decibels consistently. Which says can cause damage after 2 hours. Ordered a pick up order and when we go there, they told us they didn't have the Baja blast and in order to get refunded, we had to do it through the app. Very disappointing because we always love our Baja blast with out tacos. We also told the drive thru window that we wanted sauce and they told us ok and didn't give us ANY sauce. Terrible service and will NOT be coming back here again. read more

Hadn't visited this Taco Bell, or any Taco Bell for that matter, in years. What brought me in was the Y2K menu that advertised. They brought back the discontinued items, but used 2025 prices prices. The Caramel Apple Empanda was a $2 increase, from what it used to be. I also bought a Cool Ranch Taco and added sour cream. That was almost $4. My total was about $8 something with those 2 items. Wasn't worth it to me, but since the Empanada was always a staple in my order, I had to have it again. read more

What a difference! Visited this Riverside location for their grand opening of Live Mas Cafe. Only available at select locations in southern ca. newly renovated with new menu of cafe drinks and limited time food options. Staff were awesome organizing this grand opening, guests were all smiles. Orders were flying out after guests made their selections on the kiosks, DJ was keeping things going with the beats. Favorite taco bell location! I don't know who made my food but everything was photo ready and very good. The staff was friendly, and quick. The restaurant was clean too. I took one star off because I was so excited about the Live Mas Cafe... the iced coffees are very VERY sweet, and I love sweet, but it was a no for me. You'd think that I'd have learned my lesson about coming here by now after the last two times a came and got HORRIBLE service but here we are again. I ordered on the app about 15 minutes before I came to the restaurant, I live right next to it so I figured my food would be ready by the time I got there (foolish of me I know) I get there and check the app, the app tells me that my order was received so I wait. No big deal. 30 minutes pass, people come in after me and get their food in a timely manner but I'm still waiting so I decide to get up and walk up to the counter because surely my food should be ready by now right? THIRTY MORE MINUTES PASS as I'm standing there, my body language and face making it clear I'm visibly annoyed and none too thrilled about waiting for an hour for three items. I understand being short staffed and being busy but the thing that upsets me most about the whole thing is that during the entire hour I was there I made direct eye contact with just about all the people working there no less than two times each and not a single person asked me if I needed help or anything of that nature, they helped people around me, they went on breaks and everything else but flat out ignored me until I finally got fed up and asked what was taking so long only to be informed that "I didn't check In" (which I never had to do before). YOU COULDNT TELL ME THAT AT ANY POINT WITHIN THE LAST HOUR? I know you saw me, I saw you see me! But then again that would have required there to actually be good customer service and staff that actually cared about the fact they had a visibly angry customer waiting for an hour for food. It's 1:30 and I've been waiting in line for 25 minutes and they barely took care of 3 cars. There are another 10+ cars before me. This is the second time coming to this location and both times it's been very very very slow service. It can't be too hard to make this type of food. It's been a long time since I ate at Taco Bell, especially this location near UCR. The drive-through has a well-deserved bsd reputation, and the area is the epitome of sketchy after dark. I prefer broad daylight and going inside. Additionally, Del Taco has plunged in quality, service, and have you seen how small the tacos are since late 2023? Time to reevaluate the newest menu items. First, this lobby is underutilized in my past experience. It was bright and uncommonly clean, something you can't honestly say about most fast food restaurants these days. Moreover, the employees were all nice, courteous, and the vibe was good. One younger guy held the door open for me. The people who handled the order were also attentive. While I paid (cash) at the front register, I really like the self-service kiosk. Especially the ability to customize your order. That's a great touch, although it could potentially lead to an overpriced monstrosity if you get carried away. Mexican pizza, no tomatoes: Order came up exactly as specified. New version of Nachos without sour cream? Ditto, perfect! The promotional Double-Decker Taco was a little underwhelming. It seems they could at least warm or toast the outer flour tortilla. Plus, the cheese holding it to the corn shell was paltry, as was the filling. Tasted okay, just not something I'd order again. The Mexican pizza is different from the od version, and for the better, I think. The nachos also impressed, much better than the lame attempt of the past. Worst Tacobell in Riverside! The music is so loud, we had to take our food to go and that ruined the vibe completely. They do this to deter homeless people, but it sends everyone out running. You have to ask for refills because the soda machine isn't accessible for the same reason. Ask for a refill and you get attitude. I asked for modifications on my items and like always none were done. They do this every time, why even give the option. read more

If you're gonna go to this Taco Bell, I highly recommend maybe trying to drive-through over doing a mobile order and going inside this restaurant. We went the other night and walked up to the counter feeling like they could care less really about acknowledging your presence. It actually took some time to get someone's attention as it seemed like drive-through was more of a priority. From the point of making our mobile order, it took at least 20 minutes before we even got our order. After finally getting someone's attention it did take some time to even get the odor as you can see the person making it taking quite a long time making the food. I'm not sure if he was new, but he was making everything quite slowly. By the time we did get our order, most of the food we did receive was already cold, probably due to the slow making of food. Even after getting our food, the guy let us know they are out of Dr Pepper and we are handed our sodas with no ice not even letting us know there was no ice or if their machines may have been broken. The machines in the dining room were not even usable and everything we got from there was quite disappointing esp the quality. It's not only that when we did order, we did order the combo boxes that were not even placed in a combo boxes mixing everything up just thrown in a bag. The ones that did have a special order were not clearly marked also making it difficult of knowing what was what. If I were you, I would steer clear from this restaurant! read more

Apparently the order didnt come through even though we ordered on the app. Horrible customer service as I waited for a whole hour and the first two people said 5-10 minutes and then 5 more minutes then proceed to just not let us know about anything for a whole 40 while they served other customers even while we hit the call button to ask they'd ignore us. Even when we ask they just gave me attitude as if it was my fault even though they didnt clarify about anything the entire time so we couldve left or just even reordered. One of the most disappointing Del Taco locations I've ever visited. My orders are frequently missing items--most recently, I specifically asked for plenty of Del Scorcho sauce and was told it was in the bag, only to find none when I got home. They've forgotten parts of my order on multiple occasions, and the large fries are consistently underfilled. Unless you're absolutely desperate, I'd recommend avoiding this location.
