Taco Burrito King is great for late night tacos, but they could update their green practices. The Good: Taco Burrito King serves their food on washable plates. The Bad: If you get a dinner to stay, or ask for a burrito, their in minimal waste, but any to-go order comes out in a styrofoam container. Taco Burrito King also served their horchata in styrofoam cups whether you are eating in or taking it to go. They have white paper napkins and their utensils are made from plastic, and that is the only option. They automatically serve a plastic knife and fork with a burrito order, which I don't know about you, but I don't eat my burrito with anything but my hands. What they could do to improve: Taco Burrito King could make much better decisions for the earth by getting rid of all styrofoam products. Their are green options now available made from recycled materials and are fully compostable. Their eat in practices should include washable silverware along with recycled paper napkins. Ordered one steak taco to eat on the way to a meeting. Can t have dairy so ordered taco with no cheese. I do not understand the bad review. For quick fast Mexican food this place is great. The burritos are available in 3 sizes, so depends on your appetite. I was there last night after a bad experience at another restaurant that sent me home hungry. I ordered the king burrito dinner. So worth the $7 and change price tag. We went here the other day and got take out. The food was not that great. They messed our order up and gave us cheese quesadillas instead of the steak we ordered. The guacamole was under seasoned when big chunks of tomato, it was a very odd consistency. The chips were also stale. I was let down, not sure if we will be back. read more

I've been here a few times but only once to this location. I called me order in and picked it up 15 minutes later. When I got there it took legit 3 minutes for someone to even look in my direction. The kicthen staff just kept cleaning pretending like I wasn't there and there wasn't a front of the house employee around. Someone finally came out of the back and angrily asked me what I wanted.The food was super greasy and the staff looked really pissed off at me for no reason. Overall a really bad experience. It's ridiculous I called four times and the lady that kept answering the phone would tell me to hold then they would hang up on me after the 3rd time calling I told the lady that this is the 4th time calling and she hung up on me three times. Do not order their food. I wanted to try their burrito so i had placed an order. I got the food and was surprised at the size. However, i started eating it and something didn't sit right with me. I had eaten many burritos in my life and this one was strange. The chicken they use is actually not real chicken instead they strip down chicken wings and use it as meat. I took a piece and it literally tasted like a chicken wing. This was later confirmed after i had taken another bite and pulled out a full length piece of bone that came from a chicken wing. Followed up by numerous additional pieces. How they are still in business blows my mind. Stay away! read more

Visit here once in a while, as it is the only late night burrito place in the area that is open during the week until about 3am besides El Faro. Normally get the Jr. Burrito plate which can be so hit or miss depending on who is working. The meat(steak) is NEVER consistent at this place so this is why the rating is so low. I believe some of the workers care about the quality of the food they provide, however others do not care what fat they throw in your burrito. Only consistent things about this place is a messy dining room and tasty Mexican rice. For these reasons I will choose elsewhere to spend my money. read more

TBK has the best tasting steak meat I've had in 90% of taquerias I've eaten at! Two tacos with everything will fill you up since they have great portions. Good prices! The staff is friendly and ready to get you in and out as soon as possible if your order is to-go. Open late which is great, I work second shift so I'll go and pick up some steak tacos on the way home and be a happy camper.
