The service was terrible ordered queso with no beans, and they put beans in it anyway. The girl didn't speak at the window and had an attitude the whole time, no smiling or kindness, just someone who looked like they didn't want to be at work. Which is probably why my order was wrong. This goes to whoever is working at 9:17 p.m. on December 12th. A young lady took my order and handed me my food. A gentleman took my payment. Just want to say thanks to the staff that was working tonight. I appreciate how everything came out fresh! With restaurants, I try my best not to visit within the last hour before closing. Typically it's 50/50 on whether the food is going to be fresh or the same food that may have been sitting there for hours or from lunch time. I had the new mango tajin fried pie, in addition to the new brisket loaded fries. Fries. Like I said earlier, everything was fresh. The team was very pleasant. The fries were freshly cooked and not redropped into hot grease to heat them up so they wouldn't have to waste anything. The presentation was great. What the staff did not know was that it is my birthday. Just got off of a 12-hour shift. This is a great day And a great way to end it after not having a real meal since breakfast! Terrible service. We came in while it was completely dead and there were 4 ladies working but it still took half an hour to prepare 2 meals. At one point we asked for an update and saw they weren't even working on it. We had to rush out before it was finished, demanded a refund but got no apology or anything. While the service was exceptional, I was very disappointed when I arrived home with our togo order. The 8 bean/cheese and 2 bean tacos were very dry and lumpy. I got the impression that they may have been sitting there a long time before we got them. The cheese dip that came with our beer fajita taco combo was also very crusty. I attempted to call multiple times when I arrived home to provide feedback but no one answered. Visiting the area with a school group and a few of us walked to this location for some good late night good. Glad we did because I was thoroughly happy to see fresh food bring prepared on the grill because it can be hard at some late night restaurants who will serve anything. The cashier did advise us it would be a possible 20-minute wait for our food and we were okay with that. The manager was working hard to get orders prepared while also cleaning the restaurant when time allowed. I give him much kudos for that (and I could tell he was tired). Our food came and was so good from the trio (that I forgot to capture) to my chicken fajita bowl to my husband's tacos. Very different and so delightful. The girl was nice when we stopped in. The place was a ghost town. The salsa bar was gross and dirty - the food was luke warm at best. The margarita was cold. I dont know - this isnt the Taco Cabana of 1997 that was party central and fresh food and great vibes.....this was death warmed over and a dash of salt. read more

We would often stop by here before going to Cinemark for a movie before the pandemic. There's a variety of reasonably priced food, and a couple of simple drink options that are fun. Recently we went to our first movie after vaccination, and decided to stop here first again. It was a great experience, and even better than we remembered. Three visits here, my order has always been correct. Food has always been fresh coming out as well as the condiment bar pretty much being up kept pretty well. Restrooms are clean one day and the next you might run into unpleasant surprises. Parking lot is okay for the business that is here but pretty much dark. The workers here seem to be pretty well trained and professional and what this place really is, kudos to them. I do not know if it is just this particular Taco Cabana but fajita nachos here are $6 instead of $8 like back home. read more

I picked up tacos here for lunch. I got a couple different ones, 1 of which was a chorizo taco. Big mistake! It was disgusting. A soggy mess of saucy pork bits slathered into a doughy tortilla. I love this Taco Cabana location! I work next door so I frequent this establishment for breakfast tacos and lunch and can say they always do a great job! This location doesn't stay open until 10pm. We arrived before closing at the drive-thru and were told that they were closed. I go to this location before work & it seems very inconsistent. Sometimes the drive thru is open, sometimes have to go inside, sometimes it's only the drive through and no dining so forced to wait in a drive thru line with 8 other cars or so for an already slower drive thru. I love a late night meal from Taco Cabana, but the best things to order is also some of the simplist, fresh flour tortillas and queso. There is nothing more delicious after a night of drinking than these simple foods. This is one of the few places around that actually makes their own tortillas, in-house, throughout the day, so that when you get them they are freshly made and tender. The queso is lightly spiced and has the just right thickness, not water and not something that has to be served with a fork. The rest of the food is okay, although the nachos taste good, have a fork ready, the thin chips can't stand up to the queso, so they get soggy pretty fast. read more
