Got street tacos with rice and beans to go recently. The chicken and beef tacos, and sauces were wonderful. The rice was good but the refried beans were probably the best I have had in a very long time. I usually don't pay attention to refried beans but these are amazing. Customer Service is top notch. Warmly greeted when I walked in the door and I believe the owner is who helped me order. I was in and out the door in about 10 minutes. They are very proud of their food and rightly so. I recently found Taco Regio on Yelp. I went because of all the great reviews and was not disappointed. The breakfast tacos are my favorite but I've tried much of the menu and haven't found anything I didn't like. I met the owner, Omar, and he's from Arlington and is very supportive in the community. Even during the challenging times of COVID, they are still giving back to the community through events supporting the local schools. Highly recommended and I plan to return many times! read more

Nice little taco place tucked away in a strip center. Restaurant is small. Maybe 7 booths. But very nice and clean w/ really friendly people who work there. I had 3 street tacos and thought they were really good. Your drinks come in bottles, even the water. And the chips are really good. Worth the stop when you are in the area. read more

Wasn't very impressed with this place, unfortunately as it looks incredible in pictures. My al pastor tacos were dry, not very flavorful, and the tortillas broke apart. Great neighborhood spot. I am very picky about Mexican. This was not bland the Pecan Chicken flautas were excellent with pico, sour cream and quest. Owner was friendly and appreciative. The place isn't that great from the outside in a shopping center, however that's the best ones! Very good prices and great food. The salsa is the warm kind and very good. Im so pleased we have a nice taco place by our house that's really.good. This was our first time and it was excellent . Shiny clean inside and the owner is super nice. The tacos we're meaty with a good seasoning on the meat and a perfect taco shell- not too crisp but not tough. My husband got the guacamole, which was a little pricey at $9. It was worth it. Very tasty and big portion. I will review again after second visit. Only four stars because prices are high and I've only been once. I have gone to this place for the breakfast tacos on Sunday mornings. I always get the bacon, egg, and cheese tacos and they are great. I have also ordered the tres leche cake and it is just AMAZING. Just had dinner here with wife and son. Omar was one of the nicest people I have ever met. He was extremely helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for a fantastic dinner. The food was out of site. My wife and son had a sampling of different street tacos. I asked them how they tasted but the answer was muffled due to them stuffing food in it. I had combo fajitas, which is my go-to the first time I go to a New Mexican restaurant. They cut and cook the steak fajita so that you can actually bite a piece off as you eat it instead of pulling the whole chunk of steak out of the tortilla. They serve the salsa warm. Love it when the salsa is served warm. We love to discover really fantastic independent restaurants in Arlington. This is on the top of the list for Mexican food. Loved the food. Loved the staff. Now this is a hidden gem! Chips are crispy and not too thin, and salsa is very flavorful and keeps coming if you finish it. Street tacos are juicy and flavorful, the pecan chicken flautas are good with guacamole (though would be better if done in a flour tortilla instead of corn like a taquito) but the flan is a great finish. I hate chains so when I heard about Taco Regio I had to try it. Living in a family of picky eaters trying a new place can be an adventure. I got the chicken quesadillas and they were great. I tried the salsa and queso and they both had a lot of flavor. For the rest of my picky family we got flautas, street tacos and crunchy tacos. Everything got eaten with no complaints. Really great tacos (they have a ton more than just tacos)!! I've only made it through three (pollo asada, carne asada & brisket) because they're so big, but they were fabulous! The carne asada was my favorite- tender and flavorful!! And I was pleasantly surprised that the chicken was not dried out on the pollo asada tacos!
