This. Place. Is. The. Best. The Quesabirria is some of the freshest I have ever had and the consome was absolutely perfectly seasoned. Truth be told, I drank whatever consome I had left, because it was that good. It also came with some very fresh cucumbers which was an excellent pairing that helped break up the heaviness of this type of meal. A great place to stop right off the freeway making your way into town. It's about 15 minutes north of downtown Tucson. Located in a food truck under what looks to be the cover of an old gas station. They had a few tables and chairs right outside. The food are the bells and whistles! And you can't beat the prices!

After seeing all the great reviews, I was excited to stop by after a hike for some tacos. I don't get the hype because this place was average at best. I got 4 tacos, 2 al pastor and 2 carne asada. I enjoyed the pastor more but found both meats to be a bit bland. Service is super quick and friendly, wish they had a salsa bar but there was only some type of chili oil. This place is skippable and there are better options around.

Best authentic taqueria/street tacos in the area, especially the Pastor! Exceptional Birria. Hot sauces are great too. Good portions for a fair price. I met Miguel the owner, a genuinely nice guy, and plan to support local business like his where they work hard to give you great food & service.

For a food truck- 5 stars. Ordered an al pastor (amazing) which came with some diced pineapple on top. I love when al pastor has pineapple and it's not always added so this was a nice surprise. Carne asada was perfect flavor and no fat to be found.

If you're in the Tucson area, do yourself a huge favor and stop at Taco Rico. The meats they serve up there are some of the best I've ever had--and I've eaten tacos all over the southwest for over 50 years. The asada and pastor could very well be the best I've ever had. The salsas that came with my asada burrito and pastor taco were spot on! Spicy and flavorful. Topped it off with a bottled Mexican coke and it was the perfect meal. I will definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the Old Pueblo!

For a little taco trailer located in a unusual place, there were some amazingly delicious tacos! Very friendly and helpful staff. They even have a little table set up if you want to eat them there. I had the tacos, al pastor on their homemade tortillas. The next time I'm in Tucson, I will definitely look for them again!

One of the best (if not THE best) taco carts you'll find. Not only is the food insanely good, but the staff is always so friendly and kind too. My husband loves their burritos, I enjoy all the different tacos, and my somewhat picky 4 year old can always find something on the menu that he'll eat. They are normally located at the Fascinations on Ina. They put out a couple of tables underneath trees so you're able to sit there to wait or enjoy your food there. You can also grab anything to go and they pack it up really well!

I've had so many street tacos in my life, and other than this one place in MX- Taco Rico has the best tacos hands down. Every time I go, the flavor of the meats are phenomenal. I've tried every one and my favorites are the pastor, suadero, and cabeza. Pro tip- you can get the meats mixed in a taco if you want both and the suadero/cabeza combo is really good. I also recommend the horchata, it's homemade. The truck and tables are always clean and everyone working there has great recommendations.

If you would have told me that I was gonna have lunch from a taco truck in front of an adult toy store this morning, I would have been a little confused, so much so that I didn't even take food pics cause I wasn't expecting it. Hands down best Mexican/tacos in northwest Tucson/Marana. When you live in the place with the best Mexican food it's hard to believe that it's hard to find, but living on this side of town it's really hit or miss if you are gonna get true authentic street tacos, burritos and quesadillas. Taco Rico's delivered! Service was awesome and quick. Menu was to the point and not clogged up with a bunch of BS. The atmosphere was just to be expected an adult toy shop parking lot with a canopy, plastic tables and chairs but you're not here for that. Keep up the good work!

Add another five star review! The best tacos come from food trucks in random parking lots with a pop up and folding tables/chairs (or from San Diego), and these were the best I've had outside of San Diego! I had an al pastor & a suadero... hubs had carne asada & al pastor. Love the grilled pepper, the onions... hubs also had a horchata. Nice people! read more

I was recently in Tucson for work and after my gig I had a craving for tacos. I turned to yelp and picked Taco Rico because the idea of ordering from a truck and eating outside sounded nice after working hard. Long review short, I'm really glad I randomly chose this taco truck. I ordered two carne asada tacos and one suadero taco. I wish I had order those in the opposite quantities though. If you're a fan of carne asada, you will most likely love the suadero. Trust me. Go here, give them your money and eat some amazing tacos. read more

Saw all the 5 star reviews and decided to stop here to see what the hype was about... and boy is the hype deserved. $22 for 6 tacos and an excellent homemade horchata to feed 2 people is a great price point compared to similar taquerias and taco trucks in the NW area. The family is so nice and sweet, and they cook everything to order. They are generous with their meat portions and salsas, and the sides that are included in the takeout box are awesome! I am a fan of the grilled onions; I have never seen that at any other taqueria and it definitely elevates the tacos. The asada, pastor, cabeza, and tripa tacos are all to die for. If you need a new, affordable, local spot to support, I would absolutely recommend Taco Rico. Will be visiting them more in the future! read more

Outstanding tacos! Had the suadero (brisket), chorizo, and asada- all were outstanding, but the suadero was my favorite. The house salsa was the perfect compliment, and not too spicy. The tacos were served with slow cooked onions on the side, something I'd not seen before but absolutely loved! These are the best tacos I've had in Tucson! read more

Im new to Tucson & this taco truck blew my expectations of original Mexican food. Anything on their menu has a very authentic flavor to it & you can tell it's made with 100% effort! Not only does the owners/employees give the upmost attention & customer service but they are extremely friendly which makes every visit heartwarming & comfortable! They have seating outside if you want to eat right away & take away as well! Overall out of the 3 times I've eaten here each time it feels like I'm back home in California! I plan on visiting many times more in the future definitely worth a try if your a fan of Mexican. read more

Just wow. Excellent (and fast, friendly) service. Asada tacos and chorizo taco were just some of the best I've had in a long time, food truck or otherwise. Plate came with some fresh radish, lime, amazing grilled onions and a grilled pepper. All equally amazing, especially with the spicy oil (optional, at the counter). Might be my new goto in Tucson but definitely when I'm anywhere near I-10. read more

This was my first time at this taco truck. I'm so glad i stopped by on my way home. Its probably in the top 3 of the best tacos I've had in Tucson when it comes to carne asada and al pastor. They also have a red chili hot oil sauce that is amazing. For the lightweights out there beware, its HOT! But so dang flavorful. I'm definitely gonna be picking up some more tacos when I'm on that side of town again. They don't skimp on the meat either or their side/salsas. This place is legit. Go support these great local food trucks. Especially when they have awesome prices. read more

These are just some kind of specific tacos that you can't get anywhere in Tucson but HERE! When I tell you I didn't even have time to take a picture because of how delicious they looked (and ended up tasting) you probably won't believe me unless you try them yourself. Mine and my husbands favorites were: the suadero, chorizo, and Birria. Please do yourself a favor a give this taco truck a try. RIQUÍSIMO!!!! read more

Customer service was great! Zuri took my order and let me know they do catering too! Carne asada, pollo are my favorite! Pastor and cabeza are good too. I havent tried the other meats just yet (tripe, birria, suadero). They all come with red and green sauce, lime, radish, cucumber, and grilled onions on the side. And they put onions and cilantro on tacos . Burrito came with rice, beans, mild sauce, onions and cilantro. Quesadilla has meat, cheese, onions and cilantro inside. Also, sour cream on the side. They serve coke glass products and horchata. The pastor also comes with its own house sauce too. My food was all labeled on the packaging which was nice, since we had such variety and large order. I'll for sure be back again! read more

We visited on a Saturday around 1 PM without a reservation and were told there would be a wait since the place was packed. They only have air conditioning in the indoor dining areas and basement, not on the outdoor patio. Luckily, we were seated in the basement, which turned out to be perfect. The service was commendable truly some of the sweetest and most attentive service we've experienced in a long time. We started with freshly made chips and salsa, which were an instant hit. For drinks, we ordered the El Tamarindo, Mangopeno, and Monica's Cafetini. For food, we chose the Vegan Jackfruit Taquitos Trio and the Fresh Corn Tamale Platter, which came with a side of squash. The drinks were excellent, with the Mangopeno being my favorite. But the real star of the meal was the tamale platter. Oh my goodness it was absolutely delicious! Everyone at the table kept digging in and couldn't get enough. Even the squash side was so flavorful that we ordered an extra serving. The vegan jackfruit taquitos were a bit too deep-fried for our liking and didn't quite compare to the incredible tamales. To finish, we shared a caramel flan, which was the perfect sweet ending to the meal. The pricing was very reasonable, the service was exceptional, and the food was memorable. They offer booth and table seating, and the tables aren't packed too close together. With party members who have different mobility challenges, the spacing was great and made everything comfortable. The food was delicious. The complimentary bottomless chips and salsa were fresh and generous. If you order the horchata, it comes with free refills too, which is such a nice touch. My husband ordered 2 birria tacos with caldo and loved them. My father in law ordered 2 ground beef enchiladas with red sauce, and my mother in law ordered 2 plain ground beef tacos. I shared the ceviche with my dad, which was fresh and flavorful, and we each ordered one Quesabirria. It was so good! Dessert was perfect. We tried the flan and the chocolate flan. The chocolate flan was a moist Bundt-style chocolate cake with flan on top. Both were creamy, delicious, and enjoyed by all of us. Great service, great food, and Alexa truly made our first visit special. We'll definitely be back!

We asked a few times for water refills but eventually gave up when it didn't come. The plus side - the FOOD. The mole sauce was really good, best I've had! The chicken mole was my favorite dish but the beef with chile was also spectacular. Both corn and flour tortillas were so good here. It was really delicious and I would come back for the food, but not for the service.

It was missing that rich, spicy, slightly acidic, earthy flavor that usually sets birria apart from barbacoa or traditional shredded beef dishes. The bowl was just okay and had lots of lettuce. It felt more like a salad with a bit of meat, rice, and beans. Honestly, Chipotle does bowls better, and that says a lot considering the price. The nachos were good, but I've had better. Seis Kitchen has amazing nachos to share. That said, it's definitely a place I'd come back to mainly out of convenience, not because one particular item on the menu won my heart. I really do hope they continue refining the menu because the flavors are there and this place could easily become a standout spot. Personally I just think at the total price of my ticket other restaurants should not even have room in my mind during my meal. If you're in the area and looking for a safe bet where everyone will probably find something they like, it's worth giving them a try.

It had a nice finish and was very smooth, but I wouldn't have been able to guess it being flavored if I hadn't known. Both items were made from high quality matcha, so expect the steep price tag associated. Combined with the baristas being unable to differentiate between drink orders at the end of their bar, I wasn't really amazed given the reputation Brucha has. Maybe I didn't even receive my drink, and the above is all unfounded, but I won't be figuring that out anytime soon.

A sense of humor and tasty tacos! Taco Rico, a food truck/wagon stationed in the parking lot of an "adult products" store. In Marana. I found Taco Rico while searching Tucson for quesabirria tacos, which I encountered on the internet and wanted to see what the excitement was about. Taco Rico sells birria on Saturday and Sunday, including the aforementioned quesabirria. Delicious. But it's the everyday (except Monday) tacos and burritos that have kept us coming back as often as possible. Plus, the really sweet folks operating the place. The menu is short and simple, with tacos, burritos, and quesadillas available with a choice of meat -- carne asada, chorizo, tripa, chicken, pork al pastor, suadero (yeah, I had to look it up too), cabeza. Vegetables come alongside: cucumbers, radishes, grilled onions and a hot-hot pepper. The $2.50 tacos are chubby with meat, and the burrito makes two meals for me. Try their homemade horchata if that's your thing. read more

We only have positive things to say about Taco Rico! The suadero, tripas, and cabezas tacos are so, so good - my absolute favorites. Both the high quality food and customer service are consistent. Very generous portion and sides for the price :) We are happy to support this local business and hope they stay on this side of town forever.
