Back for soup on a Sunday! Got the Caldo 7 Mares this time. Great broth! Lots of different seafood (octopus, crab, fish, shrimp, mussel, clam) plus veggies galore. Delish and would get it again!

It had been ages since my last visit to this spot. Passing by, I couldn't resist stopping for the carne asada dorado tacos and some extra crispy tripas tacos. Not the best quality but paired with their spicy red salsa, they were quite enjoyable!

Been coming here for YEARS, and order the same thing. Literally the best "Camarones a la Diabla". You order your food and leave, or eat there lol This is not a fancy smancy restaurant, so don't be judgmental, it's literally that "hole in the wall" spot that's delicious. Employees just trying to keep the line moving, they're not being rude lol and not trying to be your friend either haha :D

    Burrito Mojado (al Pastor)

Taco Sinaloa (aka Taco Sinaloa #3, or Sinaloa Mexican Food) has the typical Mexican fare. Tacos are the main calling here, which are pretty good. Good quality, meats, onions, cilantro, hot sauce, and double corn tortillas. If you want more hot sauce, you can ask for some at the counter. The burritos are filling and another good choice, both the dry and wet choices. Be sure to request some extra hot sauce. Other items I've had, were more on the average side. Specifically, the Camarones a la Diabla which could have done with a lot more heat, and the Caldo de Res which was a chunky beef and vegetable soup but simplistic in taste. The restaurant is a getting on the old side. At most of my recent trips there was a homeless man who would open the door when you enter or exit, but he never asked for any money and didn't cause any problems. The sign out front says they're open 24 hours a day, but it's my understanding that is not case, with them closing at 9:00 or 10:00pm. NOTE: This restaurant is not physically in the City of Torrance. It is in an area of Los Angeles that has it's mail delivered by the Torrance post office, hence the Torrance mailing address.

Carne Asada fries...$15.40 for this. Barely any toppings, hardly any guac or meat.

Carne Asada fries...$15.40 for this. Barely any toppings, hardly any guac or meat and missing sour cream. No one else in line but took 12 mins. Meat was good though. Fries were fresh, though the skinny fries are better for carne asada super fries.

The food here is really good. They do a very good job of not only sourcing high quality ingredients, but preparing each dish with a very nice presentation. In terms of atmosphere, this is a large restaurant. They have numerous interior tables, as well as some exterior tables, as well. They also have a very nice bar area. Their seating is all very well spaced so you never feel like you're sitting too close to any other customer. This gives you the space to feel comfortable having conversations with whomever you're with. On certain night in the evening, they actually bring in a band. Not your traditional mariachi band or anything like that. But, a band that performs some really interesting takes on both traditional and modern Latin music. The staff here are all super nice. They're happy to help you out with whatever you need. And, they do a really good job doing their job. One thing to know about this restaurant is that they're currently offering Sunday brunch beginning at 9:00 AM. I know the sign outside says that the brunch doesn't begin till 11:00 AM. But, don't let that fool you. They actually are opening at 9:00 AM. Meaning, you can come in here on Sunday morning and have a really great breakfast. Overall, if you're in the Old Torrance area, and you want to have some great Latin inspired food, this may be your place to go.

Everything tasted incredibly fresh and perfectly seasoned. We ordered the carne asada and carnitas, and both were amazing. They bring out three different salsas with the chips, and each one had its own unique flavor. You can tell the chips are house-made because they're fresh, crisp, and just really good. Some Mexican restaurants can make things overly salty, but everything here tasted balanced and fresh. I also had a Paloma and it was made perfectly. Before we left we decided to try the churros and I'm so glad we did. They were filled with this amazing cream and came with a caramel sauce for dipping. I'm not usually a big dessert person, but these were seriously incredible. Great location, great service, amazing food, and everything tasted fresh and well made. We will definitely be back!

Got the fajitas that came with shrimp, chicken and beef and flour tortilla. It's a bit expensive but comes with a lot of food that you can split with 2 people. The salsa and guac didn't have much flavor. Might need to come back and try something different next time.

I've been here before, and the birria tacos were exactly what I needed for a late-night craving. Crispy on the outside with a good amount of filling and strong flavor - they really hit the spot. I ended up having four of them. The consomé on the side was really good too - rich and flavorful, almost something I could've just had on its own. The street tacos were solid. The carnitas had that tender, slightly crisp texture, and the al pastor added a bit more seasoning and contrast. Nothing overcomplicated, just straightforward and satisfying.
