Stumbling into this loud mariachi themed establishment and joining the equal minded drunks is part of the ambience here. Everybody here isn't sober, everybody here IS hungry. For what? Why, Mexican fare of course! Carne asada taco please, make that 6 with the salsa on the side (it is very spicy). This place has tasty tacos y burritos and their carne asada fries aren't bad at all. I do not enjoy loud mariachi music, but I do enjoy ordering in Spanish. I would probably never come here sober or within the hours of 6am to midnight, and I do believe the term 'taco shits' applies to this place quite boldly. A burrito with fries inside..I asked places like LBJ's to do it but they don't. I like the fact that it's close to work and it seems really authentic...my biggest problem is in the quality of their meats...I'm a carne asada kind of girl and their carne asada seems old and I'm use to fresh carne asada...it's really disappointing to bite into your burrito or taco and get a big hunk of grissle or a hard piece or chewy beef...sad sad sad...i like their rice and beans and even the heat on their hot sauce...but the meat quality is holding them back...and to me...the taco is all about the meat!!!! read more

this place is still good after all these years. best after a night of drinking but just as good for lunch. my favorite is the fish burrito and carne asada taco combo. its a lot of food and can't kill it like I used to. the green salsa is good here to compliment the tacos. its around the corner from work so this place gets visited quite a bit. there's a medical marijuana place that shares the same lot so parking is a bit more tough with a handful of questionable people loitering around. read more

Taco Sinoloa, for me is usually a last resort place I would go to during late night food runs. Most of the time there are places that are much better than this place in terms of the taste, but most of the places are all located about a 10 minute drive on the freeway away from my house, so if I'm REALLY fiending for some mexican food at late night, this is the place I go to. Honestly, I don't find anything unique about this place.... except that I remember the food always being bland? This place was a little scary. Granted, the neighborhood should have given me a clue as to what type of place this was, but man it was really divey. When I first walked in there, it looked like the place was just wrecked by a construction crew who just got off work for lunch. There was crap everywhere, they had one girl just cleaning up the place, sweeping food off the floor. I got 2 tacos of carnitas which had really good flavor, but I just couldn't get away from the fact that there was all this crap around on the tables. The carne asada is ok compared to King Taco, a bit dry, but the carnitas beat King Taco by a mile! Very juicy when I went, and not overly salty which is a big plus! Also the red sauce is nice and spicyyyy another very good comparison to king taco, it honestly tastes the same. The thing I love most about Taco Sinaloa is that there's a little stand that has the jalepenos and carrots, red sauce and green sauce, leaving it free to add or use as much as you want. I don't normal visit Mexican restaurants because they are practically everywhere and I like to eat at places that are good but uncommon. However, Tacos Sinola is a good spot for late night Mexican food. I walked in late Saturday night and the line was almost out the door. I wanted to eat there but the tables were dirty. It was just OK. I really think this place gets that extra (fourth) star cuz it's open 24 hours. If I were up at 3 am and inebriated, then fine, I might give up the 4th star. I had a carne asada torta and al pastor sopes. the torta was quite tasty. the portions were quite generous for $5. the bread was nicely toasted and was perfectly buttery. it was lacking in mayo but made it up with the guac. overall, however, the sandwich was made just sloppily. there were lettuce and piece of meat falling all over the place. my sopes should've done this. NOT my torta. the sopes was OK. the al pastor was pedestrian at best. And again, the sopes was sloppy. I know sopes are supposed to be but there were literally more ingredients spilling over than on my sopes/tortilla. read more

More like 4.5. After discovering this place a couple of months back, I'm going to have a very hard time going back to a La Salsa or Rubio's. Lengua, sesos, tripas, cabeza, pollo are all DEEELISH. The quesadilla has a nearly perfect cheese-to-meat-to-tortilla ratio. The California Burrito has this extremely yummy potato concoction inside (drool). Didn't think the al pastor or fried fish was all that good despite glowing reviews from others. Guacamole is green, rather tasteless droop, unfortunately. Carne asada fries are tasty, but could use a little more crunch. My friends from Mexico say that this place is pretty authentic, except for the tortilla. A weird, chemical taste, apparently...sorry, no abuelita in the back grinding cornmeal, making tortillas in a little makeshift hearth. read more

Even after trying countless "authentic" Mexican restaurants all over California, I still have to come back to Taco Sinaloa and give it to them. They have some of the best foods here, especially their hard tacos with all the extra stuff on top and that beef lengua tho!!! I still come here after long nights really hungry and looking for some comfort food. The only thing is that, no matter how intoxicated you are or out of your mind, it's still dirty. They don't have people to clean up so you usually have to clean up yourself. Other than that, the food is good. If you're lucky, you might come on a night where the lines aren't out the door! First, this is an authentic hole in the wall. Second, the Latin music is always loud. Third, the trash is always full because the employees are usually swamped with all the customers. Lastly, the lines are usually long because people love their food. So, if you can get past those flaws, this place is awesome.
