I used to eat here at least 3 times a week, but it seems in last year the food quality and service has been bad. Most of the employees never seem happy. Long wait times to get assistance with placing an order and over 10 minutes to get your order this location used to be my favorite place to eat. The quality of food at this Lake Stevens location has been on the decline. From cold tortillas and missing items to sloppy thrown together food that tastes off. Absolutely terrible!! Spent hours in Urgent care and was absolutely starving. Last thing in the world I wanted to eat was fast food...but didn't have the ability to get out of my car since I was in a knee brace and horrible pain. Went thru the drive thru and I'm always obnoxious about annunciating BEAN burrito so it's not to be confused with BEEF burrito, since I DO NOT eat meat. I waited a while in the drive thru, but since the food was streaming hot, I was fine with it. I was so hungry I wanted to eat it while I was driving, but it was just too hot. By the time I got to the house and ripped open the bag, I found 2 BEEF burritos in my bag. So no dinner for me and no way I was going back after a long night and pain. Thankfully I didn't eat it in the car.....if I would've bitten into a beef burrito in the dark while I was driving I would've REALLY been livid! read more

I was home in 4 minutes from the restaurant. Once I got home I opened up the soft taco, picked it up and it immediately fell apart, and mostly cold. This is not the first time this has happened. I like that the food is typical for the chain. The employees were nice but none were wearing hair-nets or hats and we found hair all over the tray that was brought out with our food. The person cooking the food had redial blonde curly hair, and again all of the people working are very friendly. I only hope that for future improvement they implement some hair protection. read more

I ordered the two baja shrimp taco combo for 8.99 and received two BURNT fish tacos (1 piece of fish each) that were covered in sticky sauce that had spread all over the wrapper. Stopped in today and had my usual Large Chicken soft taco combo with a cherry Dr.Pepper don't forget a large Mexi fry with melted cheese on top with 2 sides of ranch all made by the Taco Gods themselves. Lake Stevens Taco Time is messy!! Sloppy burritos that will be all over your lap in an instant. Got a burrito that looked like a dog got ahold of it! Claw looking marks on top of burrito at one end with cheese, sauce and beans smooched out on top and bottom. Went back to ask for another and let them know the quality was disappointing. The replacement was no better! I took it back and asked for a refund, but the look on the kids face told me that would probably waste more of my time. I have the burrito back and walked away. Very very disappointed with the quality of food and customer service. No one is checking what's being put out the window! I wish I took pictures! Never eating there again. Plus the last time I went they completely messed up the order. Didn't know until we got home. Do better Taco Time! read more

This is a pretty solid Taco Time. Generally friendly staff, decently cooked food, fairly clean interior. Nothing special, but a fine location overall. The one main downside to this TT is the location of the restaurant. It's in a great area with regards to Lake Stevens, but the location itself (inside a strip mall-type area) is difficult to get to. There are some oddly placed streets to get in and out of the area, which can cause an issue depending on which direction you are coming from. read more

Okay, I know. Five stars for a fast food place? Yes. Adjust your mental scale to the full fast food range, and you have here a five star fast food restaurant. This is the best. The staff here is consistently quick, competent, and amiable. I've eaten here many, many times (probably more than 100 over the years), and have never had a bad experience. The food is fresh and made right there behind the counter where you can clearly see what's going on. Put in your order and take a seat in the quiet restaurant, something rare in most fast food places. The food comes quickly. Need more of something? They'll fix it. Refills? Just pop the lid and ask at the counter. No problem. This is the best customer service anywhere. It *is* tricky to park. Go in right off the highway 9 intersection, turn left, and park in the Safeway lot at the far end. It's easier to leave this parking lot than the TacoTime lot. When you leave, go out the north end entrance (past the chiropractor's office and toward the gas pumps) and turn left. Another left at the 3-way stop brings you back to highway 9. read more

This must be a corporate store because the prices here are much higher than the other 3 locations I go to in the Portland/Vancouver area (which I love and frequent often). My $2.30 soft taco becomes $4.59 here! The food does not seem to be fresh here, either. And why is there no sour cream? This makes no sense to me at all. Instead they offer something called Baja sauce, which is just ranch dressing. Not good in a taco. The meat is minimal, which is okay because it is basically mush. Also, the service is slow. Poor customer service, was asked to leave the dining room right at 10 o clock as we were in the middle of eating our food. I love Taco Time. This restaurant is consistently delicious and their staff is great. My only complaint is how slow they have gotten in the drive thru since their remodel. The drive thru area is quite a bit offset from the food now, not sure if that's the issue or what. Give this place a whirl if you are in the area. I don't think you'll be disappointed! read more

For the price, this food is not worth it at all. It's fresh and not poisonous but that's about as good as I can say it is. Not poisonous.

Don't get me wrong I love Taco Time my favorite is the Chihuahua dog. But I doubt I'll be going back to this location because I sat in the drive thru for 5 minutes and never had my order taken. It was 1:30 in the afternoon there was one car ahead of me in the Drive-Thru line it took them 3 minutes to order I get up to the speaker box and waited for 2 minutes no one ever asked what I wanted. I decided that one Chihuahua dog was not worth 5 minutes of my time it's too bad because I really like taco time but I won't be coming here again. read more

I am not usually one to write reviews even if the place is disgusting. However, I also work in food service and have time and times again been treated poorly. Not to mention, the food is usually cold when I receive it. I usually don't get anything too complicated. I go for the smaller items such as the chicken tacos or just a kids bean burrito. Not hard to accomplish or so you'd think. The bean burritos are always cold when I get them and the tacos are cold as well. Usually with the kids burrito instead of the toy you can switch it out for the crustos.... when I asked if I could do that instead, the guy at the window sounded very irritated and told me they don't do that... they do it all the time... not sure why all of a sudden you can't. Between the cold food, and the rude customer service, not sure I'll be back to this location. read more

I think Taco Time is decent, but the food isn't quite Qdoba or Chipotle. Still decent. A bit pricey, but better quality than say, Taco Bell. But I think they are a little higher tgan Chipotle and Qdoba but not sure why. Staff is very helpful with questions about the menu, which is good. Went through drive thru today realized when I was across the parking lot in McDonald's agonizing 20 minute wait line that Taco time didn't give me my mexi fries. So afterwards had to go back.
