It came out to around $13+. All three tacos came out relatively quickly, topped with guac, diced onions, and other delights. If you don't get the sauces, I do suggest them. I think it helps add some saucy-ness back into the tacos (otherwise could be dry-ish?). Nonetheless, I still thought they were satisfying. And! I did appreciate the thicker taco shell, too. I tried the tacos al pastor and they were full of flavor. The tacos are in small corn tortillas but are packed full of meat, so they might equate to "normal" sized tacos with rationed portions of meat. Counter service was excellent and my tacos were brought to my table before I finished getting my water, limes and carrots. I have no complaints. Its quiet and comfortable at 3:30 on a Tuesday. Stumbled on this place for lunch on our way to brew tea and it was delish! It's a great alternative to Tacos El Gordo without the chaos and lines. Tables were clean and service was quick. Always searching for new places to get street tacos. Stumbled across Taco y Taco. Restaurant was very nice inside. Nicely decorated and very clean. Huge kitchen and a bar which I wasn't expecting, but I'm sure most enjoy it. Food came out extremely quick (extremely fresh) which was great! My boyfriend came home with our DoorDash pick-up order and mentioned that the restaurant had given him a hard time over the tiny sauce cups for the food. We had ordered two grand tacos, nacho, and a burrito. Both the tacos and the nachos come with guacamole, but when we opened the food, the guacamole was a caca-brown color. It looked spoiled, like a moldy avocado, and we didn't feel comfortable eating it. Since we're regular customers who usually love this spot, my boyfriend called the restaurant to address the issue. He explained that the guacamole on the tacos and nacho was bad. To our surprise, the staff member on the phone insisted that neither the tacos nor the nachos came with guacamole. What were we looking at, then? She later clarified that it was avocado, not guacamole, but regardless of how it's prepared, it was clearly bad. At that point, I had to take the phone because it felt like she wasn't addressing the issue properly, and it was frustrating to listen to. I asked if they could remake the food or provide a refund. She said I would need to request a refund through the DoorDash app, which didn't make sense to me because the problem was with the food, not the delivery. Eventually, I spoke with someone I assume was the manager. She was polite and agreed to remake the food. She asked if I wanted the avocado (or guacamole) on the side, and I told her no--I wanted it on the food. She also asked if they should remake it now or when I arrived, and I said to make it now since my boyfriend would be picking it up. When my boyfriend brought the remade food home, they had still put the avocado/guacamole on the side in two small sauce cups, and once again, it was brown. At that point, we were both frustrated and decided to leave it alone. My boyfriend even felt like he was being treated as a burden or "difficult" for raising a valid concern, which added to our disappointment. While I appreciated the manager's kindness and willingness to remake the food, the overall experience--from the poor food quality to the frustrating interaction with the staff--left us very upset. We were looking for somewhere to have a quick late lunch, I spotted this place then pulled in. For me, the Inside and outside of this restaurant give off an Irish Pub feeling which I thought was interesting for a Taco joint. As we walked in, the line had about 10-12 people ahead of us. My spouse ordered the Burrito with Chicken, and I ordered the Gran Taco with Soyrizo. We were given a number to place on our table and a couple of disposable ramekins for salsa. We were told we could choose our salsa at the salsa bar. Our food arrived at our table under 10 minutes. Everything was hot, fresh, and tasted great. My taco was great, but my only wish was that the portion size was larger and included two tacos. I would've been very happy if they had an option of 2 tacos at a higher price point. Taco y Taco is one of our favorite places. The ONLY place to get keto style tacos (queso tacos). The food is phenominal, but today we suffered a tragedy, we had to order with one of the bitchiest cashiers I've ever met. Graciela was super rude and has a permanent RBF. When I ordered, it was as if we were a bother. She needs to appreciate that she has a job, not all of us do at this time of the year. My son went to order an extra taco and came back saying she looked frustrated and unhappy. When he went to order again, yes, the tacos are that good that he wanted a fourth. He didn't want to order from her, so he stood in the longer line to order from the guy only to have him look past him to take the order of the people beside him instead. In my first ever visit to this location, I was prepared to compare both Taco y Taco to Tacos El Gordo, but there is no comparison. Both locations are completely different, despite their authentic offerings. The short and sweet: If you want a good Carne Asada and Al Pastor Taco, go to Tacos El Gordo. If you want an AMAZING lengua taco, a very good chicken taco, good horchata/jamacia/pina agua frescas, and mexican street corn(Elote), come to Taco y Taco. Taco Y Taco is located off the 215 and eastern in a very busy shopping center. Upon entering, you realize this location gives more of a happy run down vibe, with some Latin/Mexican music blasting in the background. Definitely a different experience than going into a Tacos El Gordo, which seems more gloomy, yet somehow charming. Their offerings are all listed on 3 TV screens above their meat carving stations. Atop the stations say where to order the meat you want, similar to Tacos El Gordo, but that is not the case. The cashier actually waved us over and took our orders for whatever we wanted. After ordering, we had the option to grab salsa and limes from the condiment bar. The condiment bar at Taco y Taco seems alot more limited than Tacos El Gordos assortment of green onions, salsa, limes, Zanahorias(picked carrots and peppers), as here they only offer green/red salsa, limes, and radish slices. We ordered some carne asada tacos, al pastor without pineapple, chicken tacos, a chicken sopes, lengua(tounge), tripa(intestine), a mexican street corn, and two drinks. For drinks we selected the Horchata and Pina(Pineapple). The Horchata was nice and creamy, and the Pina was fruity but not overpowering. Definitely recommend their drinks here. The carne asada tacos were....just ok. The tacos themselves had the flavor, but was quite dry. The carne asada also didnt have that nice char you get from fresh carne asada either. I wouldnt get these again here unfortunately. The Al Pastor tacos were also disappointing, especially compared to Tacos El Gordo. The Al Pastor was thick and dry somehow. There wasnt much flavor to the pork itself either. The only semi saving grace was the avocado sauce on the tacos. If youre looking for good Al Pastor tacos, go to Tacos El Gordo. The lengua though, AMAZING. Even though many places offer lengua nowadays, its usually mediocre at best. Yet, at Taco y Taco, they did it. They were able to make a juicy, flavorful lengua taco. One bite, and you wonder where it went. A few more bites and you wish you ordered more, and yes, these lengua tacos were better than Tacos El Gordo lengua tacos. The tripas were ok, not much to say other than they were crispy. This is another taco I would throw into the go to Tacos El Gordo wagon. The chicken tacos were also pretty good. Most taco joints that have chicken are usually shredded chicken, or terribly dry chicken. Here at Taco y Taco, the grilled chicken was juicy and flavorful, very well seasoned chicken. Of course, the salsa helped, but the salsa itself can only do so much. The chicken sopes was not bad, especially the sopes itself. Be aware that the cheese on the sopes has been fried previously. Do get the sopes, but get a different meat ontop. Finally, the mexican corn here is fantastic. It looks like they use a white corn, and lather it in delicious cheese, mayo and spices. Very fresh tasting and one of the best Ive had in a very long time. Overall, Taco y Taco would satisfy your palette for some lengua, chicken, and street corn. Otherwise, the carne asada and al pastor, not very impressive. Tacos El Gordo would satisfy your palette for carne asada and al pastor better in general for beef. read more

I ordered one of each street taco off the vegetarian menu; however, my mushroom taco order was never placed. The cactus taco was refreshing, but I would have liked a little more flavor to it. The soyrizo taco was probably my favorite. The vegetable taco was good, but a little cold when it arrived. The cheese taco was just that; cheese, guacamole, and a tortilla. Although I feel there are better vegetarian tacos in Vegas, I would come back here and order their fries. My partner got the carne fries, and they were MASSIVE. For my son, I got him a Chicken & Rice bowl but I ate almost all of it myself (he's 4). Le me just say, the Al Pastor Tacos are INSANE! Honestly Top 3 Al Pastor in Vegas. The sauce and the texture on the Al Pastor Tacos was perfect. As for the burrito, I think the Asada was just alright, I wish I would have gotten Al Pastor for that too. The chicken and rice bowl was really good too but I definitely recommend the Al Pastor over everything else. We enjoy trying different Taco bars and restaurants and Taco y Taco fit nicely into our list of places to go back to. This place is a middle of the road between Fast food and a restaurant Nicely done. At first the menu seemed a bit overwhelming but with the help of Gabe the bartender and a couple of margaritas we were able order a good variety of tacos. The good fresh corn tortillas made a great base for the carne asada, Al pastor, barbacoa, carnitas, lengua, and chicken tacos. All perfectly paired with specific toppings. Ordering from the Happy Hour, 5-7 menu was a good start. Salsa bar had a good selection, just wish they had spicer choices. Ambiance Was very clean and plenty of seating to choose from.
