Upon entering I see the clientele is mostly Paisas which is a good sign. Ordered few different tacos to try the meats: Asada, Carnitas, Cabeza. The Cabeza stood out as it was super tender with bits o fatty chunks in there! You get chips n salsa as you get seated along with menus from the waitstaff in uniform. Today I came into the restaurant to eat and accidentally left my wallet on my chair. I didn't realize it was missing until about two hours later. I was very nervous because I couldn't find it in my car, so I called the restaurant and spoke with the same kind lady who had originally helped me. She was able to locate my wallet, and when I returned to pick it up, she handed it back to me exactly as I had left it. This speaks volumes about the honesty and character of the staff. Had a beef super burrito and it was meh... here what not good- !. One end filled with refried beans only. First 1/4 i ate was all refried beans. 2. The beef was dry 3. The rice was mushy 4. You get one salaa that was somewhat spucy and it was ok, but you definitely need some salsa to be able to eat this burrito. Akso, Any addutonal sauce will coat you 0.25 cents more. This place is like going into grandma's house. They're so friendly. It feels like family. I've been visiting since 2013, though I haven't been for a while since I don't have a car normally. The dear lady who took my order has been there almost 30 years. Isn't that amazing? I ordered agua de piña and two tacos de pescado. She asked me if I wanted everything and mentioned that mayonesa was an ingredient and we went over the sauces that other places have and I ended up with green salsa, and rice. They arrived in a reasonable amount of time, and everything was as perfect as possible. Everything is always clean. The only drawback is that they only accept cash, but they have an available ATM. In my opinion it was a good option and nice to give them a try at least once but there is so much competition out there in the taco world that I would just give them 3 stars. Stumbled upon this place after going next door for some banh mi. While on my way to my original destination, I heard a couple saying this was their go to place for some good Mexican food and it was their comfort food, and I was intrigued. Fast forward I was ordering other food and waiting in line right outside when the smells from this restaurant were enticing me to just try some. I'm so glad I finally got to try this restaurant! My friends and I were trying to find a good Mexican food spot in the area, but there were so many that it was hard to choose. We chose our table, and she brought chips with salsa. She gave us ample time to look over the menu since it was our first time there. She also checked on us multiple times while we were there. Now the food was honestly so so good. The portions were HUGE. My friend got a burrito mojado de lengua which she thoroughly enjoyed. She was only able to eat half because it was so big. So my girlfriend and I stopped by to get a couple tacos one night while we were waiting for some bahn mi from the sandwich shop next door. Man I am so happy we did. We decided to return after loving the Al pastor in the tacos. This time I got a wet super burrito with the Al pastor and geezzz. I think this place might be my favorite Mexican food spot in town now. I can't believe I've never made a review for one of my favorite places ever. I have been coming here for years since moving for college. I was very critical of the food here in the Bay because the mexican food just was not up to par with the rest of California. This place proved me wrong. They had and still have the best burrito I've ever had. Their wet burrito, or super burritos have more flavor than anything else I've had. The price is fantastic and the size of the burrito is crazy for the price. The green sauce in the burrito is the way to go. Asada and Al pastor are both amazing. I wasn't a fan of the tacos, but the burrito is so good that I don't care to eat anything else on the menu. read more

First time trying this place when I was visiting folks in the area. I ordered pickup via DoorDash and the food was ready when we arrived - pickup was perfect. I was craving caldo de res but I was also curious to try their al pastor (because I'm always on the lookout for a good al pastor) so I ordered an al pastor taco. Everything was still super-hot and fresh when I brought the food home. The toppings were put on the side so everything would stay fresh, which was perfect because I hate raw onions and it was nice to not have to pick them out. Their al pastor was nice, juicy, and flavorful. Super-generous portion for my little taco. The caldo de res hit the spot and lasted me for another 2 meals. I loved the corn in it - wished that there was more since it was such a small segment of it and I had that soup 2 more times. The flavor was good, they were very generous with the meat for the soup - I am excited to get it again. I usually for the banh mi sandwiches next door. This is only for the flan, without extra caramel sauce. Most Mexican places have flan that is too dense, hard, and is too sweet. I prefer the smoother and creamier flan style, a tad more like the Asian style flan. It was really good and not overly sweet. I had really high hopes for this place. I ordered 2 pastor, 2 carne asada tacos and of course I had to order the tacos when the name has the word tacos in it... I thought this was their speciality. It missed the mark for me. I've had some amazing tacos in the Bay Area and this just isn't a place I would be back to for tacos when there's so many more better options nearby in this neighborhood. The corn tortilla is too thick for my liking and therefore it's not a good balance of the meat and tortilla. Carne asada meat wasn't crisp on the ends like other places. As we sat down to get situated waiter came over and ask for our drinks. As we were looking at the menu and decided the waiter came by and ask what we wanted to eat then the waiter had a very bad attitude the way she addressed me was pretty rude just simply because I order my son a shrimp burrito and didn't know there was different shrimp flavors she began bieng rude and just her demeanor was uncalled for. And when I showed the email the website sent me showing pretty much a receipt of my order and that I paid , they refused to give me my money back. Claiming the manager won't allow it and he's not there, but when asked for a number they refused that. Then proceeded to ask to see my bank statement to make sure I wasn't lying and when I showed it to them they still said that and the email confirmation and receipt didn't matter.
