I rarely go out of my way to leave reviews, but my experience at Taco Jalisco was so unacceptable that I feel obligated to warn others before they make the same mistake I did. From the moment I walked in, something felt off, but I chose to give the place a chance anyway. That turned out to be a decision I deeply regret.
First, let's talk about cleanliness or the complete lack of it. The dining area itself looked neglected, with dirty tables, sticky surfaces, and an overall unkempt appearance that immediately raised concerns. The floors didn't look like they had been properly cleaned in a long time, and there was a noticeable odor that made the environment even more uncomfortable. A restaurant's cleanliness is the bare minimum expectation, and Taco Jalisco failed that standard entirely.
Unfortunately, things only got worse when I received my food. What I experienced next was beyond disgusting it was alarming. After taking a closer look at my meal, I discovered mold on the food. Mold. That is not just a minor issue or a simple mistake; that is a serious health hazard. There is absolutely no excuse for serving food in that condition. It shows a complete disregard for food safety, proper storage, and basic hygiene practices. I was immediately concerned for my health and could not believe that something like this was allowed to happen.
As if that wasn't enough, I also noticed roaches inside the establishment. Seeing pests in a restaurant is already unacceptable, but witnessing roaches in the same place where food is prepared and served is beyond disturbing. It made it painfully clear that this is not a one-time issue, but rather an ongoing problem that has not been addressed. A business that allows that kind of environment to exist should not be serving food to the public.
The condition of the restaurant makes you question everything happening behind the scenes. If the front area the part customers can see is this unsanitary, it raises serious concerns about the kitchen, food preparation areas, and overall health standards. It's hard not to imagine even worse conditions out of sight, and that thought alone is enough to turn anyone away for good.
What made the situation even more frustrating was the behavior of the staff. When I brought these issues to their attention, expecting at the very least some level of concern or accountability, I was met with unprofessionalism and a dismissive attitude. Instead of apologizing or attempting to resolve the issue, they acted as though it was not a big deal. There was no urgency, no empathy, and no effort to make things right. That kind of response only makes an already terrible situation worse.
Customer service is a huge part of any dining experience, and Taco Jalisco completely failed in that area as well. A situation involving contaminated food and pests should have been handled immediately and seriously. Instead, it felt like my concerns were brushed aside, which is incredibly disrespectful and concerning.
This experience was not just disappointing it was genuinely concerning from a health and safety standpoint. Restaurants have a responsibility to maintain proper sanitation, ensure food quality, and create a safe environment for their customers. Taco Jalisco did none of those things. What I encountered was a complete breakdown of those basic responsibilities.
I strongly urge anyone considering eating here to think twice. There are plenty of other restaurants that prioritize cleanliness, food safety, and customer care this is clearly not one of them. No one should have to worry about mold in their food or pests in the dining area when they go out to eat.
Overall, this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had. Between the unsanitary conditions, contaminated food, presence of roaches, and unprofessional staff, there is absolutely nothing positive I can say about this place. I will never return, and I would not recommend it to anyone under any circumstances. Save yourself the time, money, and potential health risk, and choose somewhere else. read more
