The taqueria has a fairly small footprint with roughly a half-dozen tables, but is very clean and well-maintained. Like Caramelo, there are three taco lines, each specializing in a particular filling. Besides tacos, one can also order quesadillas, mulitos and vampiros. Everything is made to order and garnished with salsas, cilantro and onion. They also have some tasty homemade agua frescas and Mexican sodas for sale. Prices are reasonable---expect to pay $2.50/taco. It's easier to order if you know some Spanish, but you can get by easily even if you don't. I have scoured SLC for the best tacos and this past weekend, I finally found them. To say that the tacos here are the best is the understatement of the century. The flavor, the texture, the tortilla, everything, it all comes together in the best way. I tried the al pastor and carne asada and both were amazing. Such a great taco spot here in West Jordan! The meat has excellent flavor! Tortillas are made from scratch fresh! Such and awesome authentic Mexican vibe! I love the Carme asada and Al pastor tacos! Quesadillas also a great option as well. Horchata is fresh and homemade and I get it every time. Which fine but if that customer hadn't been there wouldn't been able to order. Ordered the Asada tacos. They were delicious. But if you get the green sauce it is extremely hot. This might not be to everyone's taste or style but I thought it was quite good. It's authentic so you'll benefit if you can order in Spanish but we survived in English. As some have noted the tacos are small so you will want to order multiple. I had four and felt that was a reasonably healthy dinner sized portion but I could have eaten a couple more and was tempted. I tried 4 different meats and plan to try the rest, but my favorite was the Al Pastor and I liked the soft Triga. They have 4 different styles of taco/quesadillas using their great homemade tortillas to choose from with my favorite being the mulita. I'd recommend generally planning on getting it to go as the place was very busy (at 5 on a Monday) and there is somewhat limited seating. read more
