Salsa bar is self serve and some were out when I came around 9pm. They did not refill it as it was late. 6/10 Carne Asada Tacos $1 - Tortillas are store bought and just heated up. They were not soft, kind of dry, and breaking apart even with the double wrap. Meat was about average. Not much seasoning so I used a lot of any sauces remaining from the salsa bar. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! HORRIBLE AMBIANCE! AND TO TOP IT OFF THE FOOD WAS BLAND! This used to be my go to spot when I used to live in San Jose. I drove up from FREMONT to eat at this spot. Placed my order and I had them charge me for extra meat on my super carne asada burrito. Now this is now a $20 burrito that I ordered. As you see the picture below my burrito barely had any meat on it. So I brought it up to the lady that took my order and told her that I paid for extra meat and this burrito barely has any meat. Then the cook rushed to me with anger and yelled at me and said that is extra meat that is extra meat. I asked him what was his problem and I will never come here again if that's how you treat your customers. I went with my burrito to sit down. I noticed that if you're not Hispanic then they won't treat you with respect and give you good customer service. Finally a different cook came out and grabbed my burrito and fixed it. This review is for their taco truck that's parked on Alum Rock Ave. I've only really looked on Tuesdays for Taco Tuesday and they're definitely there. Not sure if they're there any other days during the week. We ended up getting 6 al pastor tacos and a side of beans and rice. A side of beans and rice is a lot - like a whole round tray full. All of this was less than 20 bucks. I think they have a taco Tuesday special but they're not super promoting it. The tacos are the standard street tacos. Not that big and can definitely eat like can down like five and not blink an eye. Haha. The flavor of the pretty good. And I was satisfied. Tacos Los 3 Hermanos makes good burritos and tacos, although there's room for improvement. I ordered tacos with carnitas and a burrito with carne asada, and also used their green and orange salsas. First though, I have to talk about the price. $10 for a burrito from a truck is about $3 more than I expect. $3 for a taco is double what I expect. I'm not saying these prices are unprecedented, but if they are going to charge that much for food then I think it's fair to hold them to a high standard. First, the sauces. The green one has really meh, bland flavor, and it's too thick. It's more like guacamole consistency than a sauce, so you can't actually pour it on your burrito, which is sub-optimal. The orange one is definitely on point though, perfect consistency and a great taste. The tacos were very generously portioned with meat, but for $3 each I'd like the carnitas to be a little more flavorful. The texture was a little mushy and the pork was kind of bland. I know that cooking carnitas involves the use of many spices, so there's really no reason the pork shouldn't be explosively flavorful. Finally, the burrito, which was really the biggest letdown. The carne asada inside was so good, with some charred pieces, and some nice crunchy bits, it's just a shame that there wasn't much in there. For $10, I expect every single bite to have meat in it, this isn't a cheap burrito so they need to include at least 50% more for the value to be there. There were two other letdowns - first, the ingredients were not properly integrated, so some of the bites were just sour cream, some were just rice (which was a bit dried out), etc. Second, the inside of the burrito was mostly cold, which is a big no-no to me. Cold burritos are just sad, and it really doesn't take much effort to make sure everything is hot going on, and then to integrate it properly. Overall, I would be back for more because the place is convenient and the carne asada is really well made. I wouldn't go out of my way to come here though, the value proposition isn't good and they need to work on the assembly of their foods. read more

WORST BURRITO I've ever had. We paid nearly $30 for two SMALL ass burritos that were supposed to be Super. We ordered the Super because they are supposed to come with guacamole. I had their pupusas for the first time last night - and OMG - DELICIOUS! I would have ate that first if I knew how full I'd be after the tacos..but oh well! So they have a restaurant...but it seems like it they operate out of a truck with lots of outdoor seating surrounding the truck. I got the Mexican hot dog and the Torta Hawaiiana w/ Al pastor. I thought $5 for the hot dog was an ok price. It's basically a hot dog with jalapeño, onion, cheese, mustard. It was good, but you'll probably need 3 to be filling, at least for me. I think the torta was amazing. The al pastor with the pineapple give it a sweet and savory flavor. I definitely will be back to try the regular torta to taste the difference the regular torta is $11 and the $12 is for the torta hawaiina. You can also do take out. It took about 5minutes for my order to come out. They will charge a 3% charge if you use debit or credit card. So use cash. Super Burrito Al Pastor Mojado. The mojado part is the wet green salsa style loaded in ample goodness!!! Inside is filled with al pastor, beans, and moist rice. Drunken salsa is the best with real diced avocados! You can choose that at the salsa bar. Rice and beans are delicious too. It's definitely my favorite and go to place. Dinner hours you go to food trailer or food truck in the parking lot. Mixiote is good lamb and nicely done. Quesadilla can be done half and half meat. For quesadilla, we chose barbacoa (which is lamb) and al pastor. Cashier Facundo is friendly. There's a new girl there now and she's nice too. We love Cook Roberto. He's a cutie and makes such beautiful clean and loaded above amazing Super Burrito Al Pastor Mojado. Don't get the salad. It's a waste of money for what you get. I was at the office trying to eat somewhat healthy and avoid a drive. I looked out of the window and there was the Tacos Los 3 Hermanos food truck. I ordered a salad which consisted of a little cold hard iceberg lettuce, about a half cup of your choice of meat and about a teaspoon of Guac , sour cream, pico de gallo and jack cheese. This is a true 5-star in my opinion. Located at the intersection of Willow St. and Almaden Avenue directly across from Arteagas Food Center at the site of the old Willow Donuts and Coffee Shop. They operate out of the old Donut Shop building during the day and out of Taco Trailer at night. So what brings me here versus the zillion other taco truck competitors located in the area? The AL PASTOR... so tender and flavor filled, cut right off the machine before your eyes. I personally have not had it on a Taco yet, because I am a burrito man. I order it as such: Super Al Pastor Burrito Mojado with the green sauce, so many flavors and a kick of spice, and packed with all the right fillings. When you cut into the burrito, you will see the Al PASTOR is different than the orangish tinted AL PASTOR you see at Taco Mania and other taco trucks, next take a bite, and you will see why I recommend this taco joint. They also have a salsa bar that has a unique green salsa called drunken salsa in English, it has avocado chunks in it, so delicious I brought a bottle and had them fill it up (for a fee of course), the best salsa there :). Dont waist your time and money! We wanted to try out the Tijuana style tacos (handmade tortilla) so we went up to the guy he says order from the truck so we did when i notice he didn't s get a ticket with our order i ask turns out I ordered regular tacos (10+ tacos) so I let them know I wanted the Tijuana style they say those are more $ "okay I'll pay the difference" they denied my request. I honestly feel bad for the guy making the other tacos because he should honestly open up his own spot the taco truck is taking his business and he has no idea. My brother and husband told him hey we tried to order for your food but they took it as a regular order. The guy was nice enough to offer my husband a free taco so he can try one when all of a sudden the older lady from the taco truck comes yelling at him asking him where the ticket was for that taco. TLDR: My husband and I have both felt terrible since last night. The selection and staff are awesome though. Our complex tries to get food trucks for us twice a week which we greatly appreciate. We get to go down and have a fresh meal without having to leave home, order delivery or cook something ourselves. We like to support small businesses so this is a win/win. This is my newest fave taco place. Went here one afternoon to get a chicken, steak and pork taco. A bit on the small side in terms of size but quite filling. They were pretty yummy, well seasoned too. Did I mention the assorted freshly made drinks and salsa bar? They have avocado green sauce, the orange creamy sauce, red hot, and chili verde sauce. This place is close to home and they also have a variety of food choices, not alot but pretty much the basics and some. As for me, I am a taco girl. They also have plenty of dining space under a canvassed tent. There is also a parking lot adjacent to the truck. If you need to go shopping, Arceaga's supermarket is located across the street. Mexican food should be quick, fresh and delicious. A simple quesadilla took over twenty minutes to make when we visited at lunch one Sunday and the food when it finally arrived was mediocre. The kitchen in general seemed confused and overwhelmed by the orders but there were not a huge number of people there so I think the kitchen was just poorly organized or backed up. I checked in on our order after 15 minutes waiting and was told after some asking around that it would be a few more minutes. Finally (5 minutes later) the buzzer was called and I went to pick up our order, I had to wait while the front staff took further orders before interrupting to find out if the bag sitting on the counter was our long awaited order. We had Tacos Los 3 Hermanos cater our son's birthday party for about 55 people. They have an excellent setup with a tent and tables. We had an amazing spread they put together to include tacos with 4 meats, rice, beans, veggies, chips, guac, salsas, quesadillas, taco toppings, and 4 delicious agua frescos. OK this places on the corner has the taco Chuck and like a real brick and mortar place to. It's pretty hoppin here for sure. The food is good but hell no do NOT get that Mexican hot dog. Ordering that 1 day hella pissed me off, it's one of those Walmart hoffey brand hotdogs wrapped in bacon super week and it's $4. Are you kidding me with this? This place is super popular in this area, they have a outdoor seating area and a small little sauce a bar. Parking is kind of tight so be prepared for that business. I think if hes just stick with the cheaper items you would not be disappointed here However that dangled hot dog got me all riled up.
