Any time I've eaten here, the food has been amazing. Their service is always great at this restaurant as well. First time trying this place after seeing many times on Yelp. They don't have crispy tacos so I opted for the taquitos. The rice and beans were good. The rice however has a slightly lime-ey taste to them. Not a bad thing just different . I ordered two chicken one beef, but three chicken came out instead I didn't bother to say anything because the chicken was really good. White meat , not dry !& tasty. Next time I think I will ask for the Crema on the side because it is just a dribble over the lettuce and you don't get to taste it because I don't eat the lettuce. The Horchata was pretty good. With their own family recipes and with so many Mexican restaurants in the San Fernando Valley they set themselves apart from the rest. I love the shrimp steak combo burrito. Rotten meat more than once! The food truck isn't ok! This place is overpriced AF! one time I left my burrito in the refrigerator just for a couple of hours. I then took it out of the refrigerator and when I opened it I noticed a very light smell and I said no it's still good I mean I had got this burrito. Anyways nothing happened that time. But I did notice that it smelled a little off. I happen to be somebody that can like smell the milk go bad before everybody else. It didn't smell bad we're like you wouldn't eat it I just did stop and go hmm is this bad and then smelled it again and was like no I think it's still good. I shouldn't have done that. Anyways this happened to be my favorite Mexican food truck. And I ended up in the bathroom the entire next day with diarrhea. I just figured maybe I was stupid that day I don't know but like a month later and I got my burrito that I left to get again... And that same night although I didn't smell anything off I ended up getting diarrhea really bad and stomach pains for 2 or 3 days. I will not recommend this place to anyone and that was before the lady ran into the damn restaurant with her car. It did make me laugh when that happened because I was like yeah their food sucks anyways. Karma is a b. Your restaurant needs better pricing and fresh meat! We used to live next to this place and went often. Since we moved we've only been back a couple times. Today I decided pop in for their famous tacos. I remember that they put a super spicy sauce on the tacos automatically. So I asked for them to leave it off. What I didn't know is they they also add it to their burritos. So my son's bean and cheese burrito had it in there and I didn't even know. Poor guy was able to through about half of it before he told me it was too spicy. The chicken is seasoned really well. So I enjoyed my tacos. The quesadilla was fine. I ordered some beans which I didn't get, instead I was given a side of rice. I did check my order before I left but didn't think to actually open the container to make sure it was beans. FYI they only have one salsa that isn't spicy. Both the bright red and green are very spicy and I'm not a lightweight. They used to let you get your own salsa from the bar, but not anymore. They do still have veggies like carrots, radishes, pickled onion and limes in the self serve area. The menu doesn't have prices on it which is a little weird. So I'm including my receipt so you can see some pricing. They have a small parking lot in the front, and another off to the side. read more

We went for a quick dinner at Tacos Reyes on 4/16/2025 around 6pm. Right when we walked inside, we were greeted by employees right away. Food came out fast and was very delicious! Ambiance was like at home feeling. I forgot the names of the employees working the front counter. It was a female and a male employee. They gave the most excellent customer service I had ever experienced!! They treated each every costumer with such friendly, respectful and welcoming experience! The staff deserves way more recognition possible for how they provided service! They set the bar very high when it comes to costumer service and other places needs to learn from them how it's done! read more

Yes! This is my Go To Taco place now. The meat tastes fresh and the guacamole is really well made. The Al pastor, Shrimp and Carne Asada tacos are my favorite. I think only the rice needs some work as it tastes dry and lacks tomato flavor. read more

Been here many times already ever since I discovered this place! Their asada tacos are great! The taco combo with comes with 3 tacos (your choice of meat), rice, and beans is only about $10. If you dine in, you get chips and salsa. Their horchata is also good! not too sweet. The staff is very friendly and welcoming! Will come back to try their other foods. Absolutely horrible service! The guy who took my order got it wrong and when I returned to have my order corrected he flat out told me it was my fault as if I don't know what the hell I ordered. I had ordered asada fries and how the hell nachos came in to the mix makes and placed in my order makes no sense. Only response I got after I asked to have my order corrected was ! You should've checked it, it's your fault / no refunds and you can speak to my manager tomorrow morning! As if I have time to return on Monday when I have to be at work and this could've easily been resolved today! No wonder this place has disgruntled employees who come back to wreck the place with a car! If this is how you treat your customers you should be ashamed! Hi, we went to tacos Reyes yesterday, after a big event at ourgrandsons schools. We figured that most of the local restaurants would be crowded like chilies and Olive Garden. We of course, remember the tacos. Rios used to be very crowded. The service was excellent. We do not recommend the chicken tostadas as the chicken is just strings of chicken and the taste is very average. The tacos, burritos and guacamole are excellent. We will definitely go back as the crowds have seem to diminish and the service is very very very, very good. read more

Favorite burritos in the valley. Today Yohan helped us, and he was awesome. He greeted us when we entered, and his tone of voice is eager, positive, and welcoming. FOOD: Got the Carne Asada Burrito ($9) and BF got the Shrimp Quesadilla (~$11). Prices went up but I'm okay with it bc of the current world situation lol. Carne asada meat wasn't dry and it had the smoky char flavor which was bomb. First time with the shrimp quesadilla and ooooof that shrimp was FIRM and juicy. Yum. They include a bag of nachos, too. Don't forget to ask for the pickled vegetables (pre-packaged in baggies in the fridge) and extra salsa roja (usually super spicy, but today it wasn't that bad??). The food has gotten a bit pricier since years have passed, inflation? Their aguas frescas are decent, they're not the Bang estilo but they're not too sugary nor authentic. Their overall flavor hasn't changed so I still recommend their carne asada anything and carnitas tacos. There's a cashier who seems like he has attitude and eats while serving customers which I think is a big health code no no but there's this other bus boy with glasses who is the sweetest thing. This is a great, reliable taco spot. If you drive around the valley, you've definitely seen a Tacos Reyes truck or restaurant. Their tacos are classic and simple with some great flavors and good quality meat. This is exactly what you expect from a taco spot and definitely satisfies that craving. My one gripe is their prices, $2.50 a taco is pretty steep for what they are, and they don't have any taco Tuesday deals. But the tacos are packed with meat, so I can't complain too much. The quesadillas, mulitas, and burritos are good too. You can't go wrong! read more

I've loved Tacos Reyes ever since they had a truck outside the Rabbit Hole. I would walk from my house to grab tacos, burritos and quesadillas at all times of night when it was there and it always hit the spot! Then, the owner of the Rabbit Hole made the stupidest mistake of chasing the truck away but that didn't stop me from tracking down the actual restaurant because no way was I letting these tacos slip away that easily. The restaurant was luckily only a few blocks away and I've been a loyal customer even through Covid. Their burritos are huge and so delecious! Flavorful Carne asada, good rice and beans and they give you much bang for your buck. Definetly try their salsas as well. I am so happy this place has survived COVID so please be sure to support the wonderful local businesses that actually put flavor into their food. Carne Asada, Pastor & Carnitas have never dissapointed me! Nachos are good, you can get them with nacho cheese, mozzarella or queso fresco. Ide recommend mixing Mozerella and nacho cheese.
