I've been coming here since this place first opened. I went here 3 times this past week. It's hard to believe that the food got better, but they kept the same flavors. The asada is moist and red sauce more balance with the same spice. (FYI very spicy, but I love spicy). The feel of the restaurant is just an authentic taqueria. It's a great place to grab some food with your friends. I definitely recommend this place. read more

Do yourself a favor and ask them about pricing. These photos are old and need to be updated. Ordered Horchata, carnita tacos, and tripa tacos. Horchata tastes whatever for $2.99 each. Both carnitas and Tripa tasted so salty. Sauces are bland as well. Wont be coming back for the large $5 tacos read more

Tacos Reyes taco trucks are the bomb in the valley! When I found out they have an actual storefront in Canoga Park, I had to check it out. Times I've been here, there's never a crowd but I can see how sporty it might get during peak times (tables are close together and the parking lot is tiny). I've had the carne asada burrito - so delicious and packed with meat! For my money, the real standout is the carne asada nachos - so filling! I love that they're really generous with the meat here! Normally, this would never happen with Tacos Reyes. My wife and I have been going here for over 8 years. I definitely Will be going back because their other items are amazing however I will never order the enchiladas there ever again. My wife's favorite item there are the green enchiladas and what they gave tonight and try to pass off as what they normally do is absurd. My wife ordered simple green chicken enchiladas. They first acted as if this was not some thing normal but I let it go. Seven minutes into waiting for the order they came around and asked if green enchiladas was correct and I said yes and they said well it's a little spicy I said it's fine, because we have ordered these before many times and they said OK. The food comes out and I didn't think to check right when he gave me but I checked right before I left the store and was shocked at what I saw. The green enchiladas looked like flat tacos with very little chicken in them and covered in shredded lettuce sour cream and a bunch of what looked like Parmesan cheese sprinkled all over. When I asked what this was they said this is what we make and I said no it's not, because I have been coming here for years and we have ordered these many times. I told them the enchiladas are rolled up like a regular red enchilada, and these look like flat tacos. I lifted up the lettuce and I asked where is the green sauce even?? These are not what we order so he went back to the back and asked the cook and the cooks said yes this is how we make them. Now it was closing time so I assume that they had big orders before mine and just wanted to end the night however what they gave me was not accurate for what we have been receiving for years here pre-pandemic and post-pandemic. I'm sorry to have to give a low rating but this is the worst looking enchiladas I have ever seen. They literally look like flat tacos like it could be a mini quesadilla almost. So disappointing. I also ordered the three Carne Asada tacos and as always they are amazing but if you are looking for enchiladas this is not the place to get them. read more

Best quality street tacos I've had in the valley. I am always on the hunt for good street tacos and burritos and Tacos Reyes has the best I've had in the valley, carne asada tacos with red sauce and carne burrito with sour cream, avocado, onion, cilantro, Jack cheese and red sauce are my go to but the shrimp burrito and taquitos are fantastic too. read more

Awesome find. Got some gas across the street and saw this taco place. I was hungry for lunch so I yelped and realized this was one of my bookmarks. Busy as heck for lunch but fast lines. I ordered the chicharon tacos and also ordered all carne lingual burrito with no cheese, beans and rice. I got full with the taco so I will be eating the burrito for lunch and dinner. The chicharon taco was very good. Crispy pork and lots of meat. Good size portion. This comes with fresh chips. I will come back and order fish and shrimp taco next time. read more

The food is great, the service is pretty good and very fast too. The ambiance is the worst part, it's the definition of a hole in the wall. However, you can't beat the price and quality. Most annoying thing is they charge you a credit card fee and you can't charge under $10. read more

Parking is really easy here, there is a large free parking lot attached right in front. As mentioned service was extremely polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. One thing I love about this place is it's very long and there is a very big counter if you prefer to sit there or there's also a long row of booths. So it can host many different sized groups. It has a true retro diner aesthetic to it, which I really love. For this visit, I chose the Turkey Chili and Cheese Omelette and thought it was absolutely fantastic. Everything about it was just great and I would highly recommend to anyone. I also want to point out that their coffee is especially tasty and strong and was another highlight of the meal. I will definitely be back next time I am up in the valley.

Since it was going to be a long wait, my wife and daughter waited in the car and I asked the hostess if it was cool if I sat down by the bar area and order a coffee which I plan to pay for. I was told by the hosts that that area is first come first serve so she didn't see a problem with it so I sat there. One of the gentleman that works there asked if I wanted anything to drink so I ordered a coffee. Moments later, while drinking my coffee the lady that's assigned to that section asked if I wanted to order anything or if I needed a menu which then I informed her that I was waiting for a table and was told it was cool if I sat there while I drank a coffee. She then rudely stated in Spanish. "I DON'T MAKE MONEY THAT WAY" then storms off. The lady starts complaining to her coworkers and they start looking my way. They then inform the guy that always wears a black shirt and slick back hair who I believe is a manager and he comes over and explains that this section is for walk ins that plan to sit and eat here and am welcomed to wait outside or in the waiting area.I informed him it wasn't a problem but thats the reason I asked from the beginning. I also mentioned we drove from Simi Valley to come here and there were many other restaurant options but I told him how the waitress treated me and he said he would talk to her. I told him I would pay for the coffee and I would leave. He said don't worry about the coffee. I didn't even finish my coffee I set it down and left. After coming here for years with family, friends, even referring this place to others I WILL NEVER COMEBACK AGAIN. We made our way to the Country Café in Chatsworth and of course got great hospitality and food.

We were on the fence if we should leave or not because it looked like they were having an important, impromptu meeting because you can see mostly everyone wearing a denim shirt in the kitchen corner. The timing for someone to ask if we wanted drinks or had questions of the menu was off putting. Once we finally had service, the food came promptly and it was delicious but it took awhile for our drinks to come because we had already finished our apps and halfway through our entrees. I have always enjoyed their happy hours here and the hours are: M-F 3-6PM, at the bar and high bar top tables. I like their garlic soup extra hot, the spicy rigatoni vodka pasta with Italian sausage, squid ink pasta with calamari and shrimp, and I don't remember which one I liked more or if I like both as well: the bolognese or the braised short rib. I'm sure you cannot go wrong trying both though. I also enjoy coming for their DineLA, so this one experience is probably just a one off.

My mom rarely cooked it and kids are always afraid of different stuff so i missed out. I realize alot of ancient cultures sacrifice lambs . Could that be bc it truly is food for the gods. This is a good spot if you are interested in trying out some middle eastern style food. Falafels are not bad, they can be a bit crispier and cooked thoroughly inside. Flavors are simple. The sauce can improve as the mayonnaise is strong in it. I ordered with double the meat and got the same amount as usual. Maybe they forgot but at $8.99 as a charge I think it's rather unfair. That's why I dinged them one star. Service is fast. Haven't ever sat inside but looks casual and chill. Hopefully next time they don't forget.

Well, Well, Well…read more... It appears that my 23&Me ancestry composition has been recently updated and as of today, you are now looking at a 7.1%, Pure, Italian Stallion. Yeah, I too always thought I looked like a young Joe Pesci... Ha! Hey, Fugheddaboudit!!!! Hey, hate me for my ways, but blood is blood and I'm going to run with this Italian thing for as long as I can. And just as my "old Italian Nonna" might have said, had I actually had one... "O mangi la minestra o salti la finestra" But being that I am less than 10% actual Italian blooded, and me not actually having a Nonna who would probably just yell crazy things at me in Italian, I'll just stick to the little Italian that I actually know..... The Food!!!! Yeah give me.... A little meatballs slathered in marinara covered in melted provolone... Or Some thinly sliced prosciutto, mortadella, capicola on some crusty Italian bread... Or even... A square of lasagna with Italian sausage, mozzarella, ricotta, Romano cheese served with a chilled San Pellegrino to wash it all down... And you'd be 100%, not 7.1% correct, that I would enthusiastically rep my Italian heritage and proudly wave the colors of my National flag... The Red, The White & The Bl.... Errr, I mean Green! ;) Yes, I can admittedly get behind Italian food any day of the week and I know my "Nonna" would be proud. Well thankfully, you don't have to go all the way back to the Motherland to visit your Nonna and experience the old world eats of a little place called Italia! Cause Cavaretta's Italian Deli has all your Deli needs and wants covered. Yep, a San Fernando Valley staple since 1959, this spot has been and continues to be the place to grab the Best Italian sandwich (according to the Daily News) this side of the Colosseum (according to me, Lance L.). But the cocoa powder on top of the Tiramisu (aka the cherry on top)... This deli has an Italian Grocery shop with everything you need to make your real or made up Nonna proud back in your kitchen. So, forget about waiting around for your 23&Me results to come back and just get your little pasticcino buns over to Cavaretta's and live like the Italiano's do! Ciao Bella!

This is a pickup-and-go location for a number of kitchens, so don't expect to sit down and eat there. The pizza itself was wonderful. Delightfully chewy crusts and the toppings were delicious. We got a plain cheese, Valley Queen, and a Mike's. All were good but the Valley Queen's Peruvian sauce sprinkled on top was amazing. Pizza was ready when I arrived. Definitely worth a try.
