This is the third time at this location and I ordered al pastor and fajita (beef) tacos and chicken tortilla soup. I know its hard to have things always fresh but still it wasn't good. This Taco Y Mas is good. This location actually has really decent tasting food. Presentation was awesome, the people were friendly, the flavor was good. I would stop going to the one on Forest near 75 and make the extra trip and take a few extra minutes to go to this location on Coit near Beltline in Richardson. read more

Great for after work a bit on the pricey side but that is okay they have a salsa bar you can choose from mild to very spicy I recommend the carnitas or the steak. read more

We love Tacos Y Mas... but tonight was frustrating. A few weeks ago, they forgot our kids meal in a delivery. I called to ask for a refund, and the gentleman said they would write down my name and I could come in later to claim. Tonight, I called for a couple of platters and asked if I could get the kids meal. The younger man on the phone told me there's no way to know if I was being truthful. When we picked up our order, we asked for a second bag of chips to go with our queso, and we were also told no. I ordered through door dash and had it delivered, I had the chicken and pastor street tacos. The chicken were good I added extra green sauce and it lives up to my street taco expectations, now the pastor I have most definitely had better, I'm not picky when it comes to food .. i was raised to eat everything and appreciate what I have never waste. Unfortunately though... I could not finish the pastor for some reason there was this odd smell and I could not get past it no matter how much I tried. . Overall food was okay. Showed up nearly 30 minutes after I placed my order. When I said I came for a pickup order, the service employee stated she needed to double check because she didn't see my order come through. I physically saw her go check the printer, where my order was sitting. She came back and said I needed to wait an additional 10 minutes because they needed to make the order of the customer in front of me who had just placed his order. When I said that I ordered 30 minutes beforehand, all she said was "Well your order just came through." Will not be ordering online again or going to this location. Not what one would expect from a company that has a surcharge to order online. On top of this, tacos were run of the mill. Very convenient location, the street tacos were "okay" per my husband. We both went in hoping for Menudo as it says Sat & Sun and no menudo today on a Saturday. I ordered the guacamole tostada without beans. I got a tostada with just spread avocado on it (not guacamole). We also ordered the chips and queso. The queso was good but we couldn't eat all of it due to the chips tasting like cardboard. We took the queso to go and threw the chips out. We will not be returning. I'm eating my huevos rancheros and La Gringa taco as I type this and I can tell you, Torch's Tacos USED to be my favorite taco place. This my new spot from now on for tacos. Hold on while I take another bite...Damn that's good! I've been here earlier this week and had some more of their tacos I forgot which one though I just know they were good. So recently moved here from Socal. I've been trying to find authentic mexican food. Let me start off by saying this place is so far from it, the meat had no flavor. Extremely bland, the pastor is an absolute joke to say the least. The burrito was an embarrassment. I was very disappointed and felt like driving back to ask for my money back to be honest, i have been to other restaurants and i can tell you texas so far is a huge disappointment as far as the authenticity of mexican food is involved. Now the customer service was alright no complaints, but the food was an absolute disappointment. Food was okay, but I hadn't been in a while, and on my most recent visit I found out about a convenience fee for credit/debit cards. If you want the prices listed on the menu, you have to pay with cash. Otherwise you will pay extra for using plastic. That's no bueno. I rarely have cash so I probably won't be visiting any more. Great, authentic tacos. It's more Mex than it is Tex. Has great horchata and agua de jamaica. They have a wide variety of salsas (about 7) and they all taste pretty good! They not only have street tacos, but they have breakfast tacos, tortas, menudo, and burritos. Quick, efficient service. They speak both English and Spanish. Would definitely recommend. read more
