The Waffles Benedict, which came with ham and poached eggs, was my personal favorite (the eggs were the perfect runniness; compliments to the chef!). There is also plenty of seating including chairs and booth options, so larger parties, families with kids, or couples can have a comfortable place to dine. As for the prices, the food ranges within the $20s range (any extra add-ons like eggs, ham, etc. cost a few dollars more). I would say this is pretty typical for an LA restaurant, although it may come off as a bit "pricey" for non-locals or travelers. However, they do offer a very diverse menu, so there is definitely something that everyone could enjoy.

There are two seats on the very far left end of the bar that are lower than the regular bar seating. The hostess gave us menus promptly. There is a tall waitress working there who wears large glasses. Her hair was pulled back tightly. I'm not sure if she's is Asian or Hispanic. I'm not saying that to throw any shade at her ethnicity whatever it is I'm just saying that to try to describe who this person is. I have never in my life, been looked at so sourly and exasperatedly by a waitress as I have when this waitress saw my boyfriend and I sitting at the bar. No smile. Maybe she was upset because I had to flag her down because we had been sitting there waiting for someone to ask us if we wanted anything to drink. I asked for two coffees and two waters. She brought us the waters, and I never spoke to her again. Another waitress was kind enough to bring us our coffees after that. We waited a little while to order and yes, it was busy, but there were at least two or three people behind the bar at all times and I know they have other customers in the restaurant to serve so that doesn't bother me at all. So there was a third woman who took our order. We waited and waited and waited for our food. They did refill our coffee. After a while, I finally asked is our food coming? I was told let me go check by a fourth person. That fourth person returned and said that our food would be up soon. 10 minutes later I asked again if our food was coming. I understand certain things that take a long time like any of the pancake soufflés, but we did not order any soufflé pancakes. When I asked the second time when our food was coming, again, that person went to the kitchen to ask. When that person came back, they said oh it's not ready because you ordered the steak. The exact same thing they told me the last time we were here five years ago as to why our food was taking so long. I order my steak, medium rare every time it does not take that long to make a medium rare steak. Regardless, when I got my food, it was delicious. They forgot the side order of potatoes (because God forbid steak and eggs comes with potatoes) but I told them not to worry about it because I didn't wanna have to wait another 30 minutes to get them. My entree also came with a crêpe, and when they asked me what kind of crêpe I wanted, I asked for a Nutella crêpe. You know what they give you? A bone dry crêpe with whipped cream and a few drops of Nutella. I'm pretty sure that Nutella is supposed to go inside the crêpe not just a couple drops on top of it with a big giant dollop of whipped cream. And just because I feel like it, you know what's really low rent for a place with these prices? Tossing a to-go plastic disposable container of A1 on the plate with the steak and eggs. Seriously? You don't have a small little ceramic ramekin that you could at least put the A1in? I feel like that was put there just to fill up the plate because they don't give you any potatoes. Kind of a classless move. So like I said before, the food was very good and I'm sure it always will be. But when the waitress looks at you like you ruined her day, it reminds me why I haven't come back for years. Then when I really WANT to support that local business again, history of repeats itself. I don't like being blamed for my food taking forever because it's what I ordered. That is completely ridiculous and not the customers fault. So just be prepared for dirty looks and even if it's not that busy you're still gonna wait a long time for your food and maybe it'll be worth it but that's up to you.

I had a blast at this Mexican bar! The prices are reasonable and speak for themselves. At first, it may seem like a small space, but once you venture to the back, it opens up into a fantastic bar area. Jasmine, our bartender, was a star. She was attentive, made excellent recommendations, and ensured all our needs were met. Her speed and helpfulness truly made the experience perfect. The drinks were not only strong but came with fun and unique garnishes that added to the excitement. While the flavor could have been even better with a tad less alcohol, I can't really complain. And let's not forget the food - the burritos were amazing! The only minor hiccup was the steak being a bit chewy and having some gristle, but otherwise, it was perfection. The only downside is the iffy parking lot, but once inside, it feels like a home away from home. The decor is on point and adds to the overall fun atmosphere. I came here last night to party at the bar section it was lit they played good music and we had a beer and stayed till 2am or maybe a little before like 1:50 and went to the food section to get tacos, we came on April 22, 2023 and this was around 1:50 am - 2 something am and we just wanted to order some tacos but we didn't because we were very much insulted by the cashier lady I didn't get her name but I didn't appreciate her tone and how rude she was for no reason! We just wanted some food! Like if you don't like your job please leave and don't insult customers and be rude to them when they just looking to order. She was rude to my friend first and that already threw me off. My friend had told her what she wanted and the lady said in a very rude tone of voice that she cannot hear her. Extremely disappointed with the type of service and quality of food that I have received the last 2 times I've been there, it seems if the owner isn't there than the kitchen and the servers only do a mediocre job. I have an extreme allergy to onions and I had to return my food not once but twice after the third time I just told the waitress not to even bother anymore. the tacos here were pretty good, but not the best i've ever had. I had the savory al-pastor option. The meat was tender and juicy and satisfied my hunger. It was a bit salty for my taste buds though. I'm not sure if I'm just sensitive to salt or what. But overall the food was satisfactory. The other reviews seems to reflect this same sentiment. If I had to try it again, I'd rather receive some sort of free taco deal. I'd take this place over taco bell any day though. read more

I'm giving it 2 stars only for the simple reason that our waitress was great, we went to eat dinner yesterday and I'm sorry to have to say this specially because I liked tacos way but the agua chiles were if not the worst, some of the worst we've tried in a very long time. They smelled so bad. And tastes even worst. The shrimp wasn't even clean. I'm sorry to say but even the tacos were questionable yesterday. And the residential parking was pretty much packed. As I had my little pup with me, we needed a table outside. It's been a while since I was seated outside. Usually it's been in the bar area. They have a back gate at the patio but it was locked. First off, the place was packed. It's been a while since it's been like that. Or maybe I've only been coming during happy hour. Also, it's somewhat seems to be a thing where you have to ask for the happy hour menus. Anyways, their items are pretty decent for prices. Drinks specials and some of the food items are worth it. We alway get a pitcher of beer for the table to share. Food wise, a couple of the ceviche. Either fish or shrimp and that's served with a tostada chip. For 12.00, it's pretty decent in size and quite tasty. Between the fish or shrimp, I prefer shrimp better. Also, two street tacos for 5.00 with many choices of protein. Lastly, the loaded fried nachos for 12.00. Let's say when they mean loaded, it was loaded. That too comes with your choice of protein which I went with the al pastor. The food was great. Reasonable price and well portioned. Plus the chips and bean dip to start off. They also accommodate some salsas with chips which is nice. Before it would alway be the bean dips and you would have to ask for the salsa. If you want fresh guacamole, they have someone that will prepare it table side to your liking. This visit, there was also the mariachi band walking around asking people if that wanted any requests. The service was great, the staffs all are amazing and friendly. Some familiar faces which is nice.

They agreed, i gave a deposit, and then said they couldnt come on the day of the event. The reason was a car accident, but i was assured that i would receive my deposit back. I've reached out to them multiple times, but no answer. If they replied and asked for time, I wouldve been okay. However, they just completely stopped replying and pretty much ghosted me. Owner is unethical, a scam, and left us scrambling to order food for 30 people just a few hours before the party. Food is good, but the people don't have values and will take advantage of you. I get it, times are tough, but you don't do that to people.

Regular Taco (4/5) Going to any taco establishment, it's a must to try their original taco. I got it with carne asada. The tortilla is corn-based and it comes with onions, cilantro, fresh tomato salsa. Overall, not a bad taco, just not the best, best. The overall flavor profile was pretty solid though - you get the beefy flavor from the shredded beef, the refreshing-ness of the cilantro, salsa and freshly squeezed lemon juice. 2. Birria Tacos (5/5) Corn tortilla lightly fried in birria broth; this version is between the regular taco and the dorados. It gets soggy quickly from the juicy, flavor-packed broth, so eat this first and fasssttt! The beef was flavorful and tender. Onions and cilantro were fresh. It not only looked good, it tasted great! 3. Dorados (5/5) This is their "crunchy" taco, which I got with shredded beef (default, but can change to other protein options). That crunchy shell was just sooo satisfying with each bite. Flavor wise, it's pretty similar to the Birria taco described above. I love the fresh radish slices they offer on the side. It's crunchy and a nice palate cleanser in between each taco.
