Tacotarian is one of my favorite restaurants in the arts district! It's 100% vegan which has made taking my vegan and vegetarian friends out so much easier!! The service there is amazing!! I am allergic to quite a few things on the menu and they are always so accommodating to my allergies to the best that they can and really take the time to check their ingredients for me. Everyone who works there is just so incredibly nice, I've only ever had good experiences with their staff! And the food is absolutely fantastic!! Their barabacoa tacos are out of this world!! The plantain con mole tacos *screams with joy* Their veggie taco *chefs kiss* Like I am so genuinely happy when I eat at this restaurant! And it is very filling!! And don't get me started on their Horchata coffee!!! 2000000/10! Every single friend that I have ever brought to Tacotarian has absolutely loved it!! The aesthetic is very clean and modern, very chill vibe. They have a mixture of medium/large tables, and couches with coffee tables, indoor and outdoor seating, they have a Doggy patio, and the bathrooms are always super clean! So if you're looking to just grab a Horchata coffee and catch up with a friend they have the space there for you! If you and your friends are starving and ready to devour some absolutely delicious vegan tacos they have the space for you! As a carnivore, I'm not usually in the mood for vegetarian fare but a coworker convinced me to try this place while we were visiting Las Vegas. I loved the decor, with just the right amount of green plants to complement the light brown wood accents. It was slightly after lunchtime so we must have missed the rush, as there were few customers in the restaurant. We were quickly taken care of and within a short wait, our food was brought to our table. The birria platter was very flavorful. It came with three tacos, with your choice of "meat". I opted for the chicken. However, the "cheese" had a weird mouth feel that I didn't enjoy. It felt greasy and seemed to coat my tongue. Following the lead of my coworker, I also ordered the Crunchwrap. This is NOT a Taco Bell menu item. This is what Taco Bell aspires to be. Thick with flavorful "beef" and crunchy tortilla shell with other fresh ingredients, it was so large I couldn't finish it. To wash it all down, I ordered horchata. It was very rich and tasty, albeit a little sweeter than I'm accustomed to. Overall, a great experience and I would definitely return when accompanying vegetarians. read more

My little sister and her husband took my cousin and I to eat here as they are both Vegan. Me being a meatarian I must say it was pretty good. I had the enchilada "carne asada" mole. OH EM GEE. I finally got to try brunch after yearssss of dining here!! The French toast could've been made to be a little more fun. It was super basic BUT very good. But the chilaquiles ...DELICIOUS!!!! We got two different drinks. The orange one was definitely better. Love all the windows that look outside. This place will forever be a go to! Holy mole'. I was in the area so stopped in to grab some food to go. I had never been I. This area of town and found that this location has a nice vibe with plenty of places to sit and enjoy. The staff were friendly and helpful and my order came out quickly. I had to order the Mexican Pizza as it's a limited offering. It is giant. I have enough left for another meal. My friend Mat and I decided to stop at Tacotarian, which is a Vegan location for tacos, nachos, etc. They use the diet cheese to make their nacho sauce and they have a non-egg and non-dairy sour cream as well. I decided to get two tacos that were $3.50 each the Barbacoa plant-based tacos and then I also got a full plate of nachos with vegan nacho cheese and vegan sour cream along with the vegan plant based meat and guacamole as well. I am so excited to dig in. I went to the bathroom right after I ordered and they do have bathroom codes that changed daily so you do have to ask the gentleman at the check encounter for that code. After I returned from the bathroom, I had my food ASAP. The jackfruit on these tacos, do not taste like jackfruit it taste like meat, and that is so hard to come by ! This is my first time eating at Tacotarian and it is a definite must hit. If you are in the area they have oodles of options for honestly anybody eating and that is so amazing to me. The ambience on the inside, reminds me of a couple of the breweries that we stopped at where it's very industrial yet very Homie-y at the same time. I thought it was a taqueria. I was wrong. It's better than that. It's all vegetarian and the whole vibe of this place with hip music playing is very cool. The server was helpful, explaining the menu. I got the taco platter: carne asada made with seitan, al pastor made with seitan, and barbacoa made with jackfruit. All tasted like real tacos. My bookclub met here for an early dinner. I am not vegan but I am always willing to try vegan food. The man at the register was so nice and knowledgeable of the menu. I chose 4 tacos because I wanted a variety of choices. I chose the plantain con mole which was quite delicious. It was a bit spicy but the mole was tasty and the plantain was cooked very well. Next, was the mushroom asada and it was tasty. I love mushrooms so this was right ip my alley. Then, I got the gabacho which tasted like meat and I really enjoyed this one. Lastly, I got the baja taco which is a deep fried avocado with slaw. This one was my favorite. It was creamy and tasty. Back to my bookclub. We wanted to meet somewhere where we can sit comfortable for a few hours and chat about our book and future books. I love the seating here. I was staying nearby for business and saw through Yelp that Tacotarian was not too far. I hopped into an Uber and off I went. I really like this location in the up and coming arts district in Las Vegas. The restaurant has outside and inside seating which looked nice and clean. I was warmly welcomed when I arrived and I ordered at the counter. I got a burrito and a few bean and cheese tacos as a mushroom asada taco to have the next day. I grabbed a drink as well and sat at the counter while I waited for my to go order to be ready. I really like the interior here, it's bright, colorful and gives off a vibe that they care about their food and their customers. My order was out in about 10 minutes. I got some sauces to go (the really hot one is delicious by the way) and back to my hotel. I was surprised at how much my order weighed. It seemed the burrito (comes with rice, beans, salad) was about 2 pounds. Huge burrito. I soon ate that massive, delicious burrito and enjoyed every bite. Everything was fresh, tasty and really filled me up. I'd say it was one of the best burritos I've had in a long time. The next morning I ate the tacos and man were they good. So much flavor and goodness in every bite. I really enjoyed the food from the downtown location. I've been to the one in the miracle mile shops which was good as well, but something seemed different here. To me you can't go wrong with Tacotarian Downtown. So many options, with an emphasis on various different proteins (from mushrooms, to jackfruit, to meatless chicken and meatless beef) Loved all of them, especially the carne asada and the barbacoa. The tacos came with medium green salsa and hot red salsa. The soup was also good, not spicy, more on the sweet tangy side. Loved the chunks of fresh avocado in the soup! It was really hot outside, so they allowed us to sit inside with our little dog as long as he was well-behaved. Plenty of paid street parking and paid lots nearby. They also have a dog patio. I really really needed this. There aren't many vegan locations on the Vegas strip, so I was lacking a really good meal on my trip. My boyfriend surprised me by coming here! I was looking at the menu and thought I could only get one or two items until I realized The ENTIRE MENU is vegan!!! I was shocked! I got an elote, 1 barbacoa taco, and 1 bistek taco. I thought they were great! I have never had barbacoa or bistek in my life so I can't compare it to the real thing, but I loved it! This was a mistake on my part as it also happened to be first Friday, so the streets were packed and parking was virtually non-existent. Luckily, I was able to find a spot at the front door. Came to Tacotarian with a couple of girlfriends for lunch, was super excited, knowing that they always recommend great places! Upon entering, the restaurant was quite decently sized with good parking close to the building. There is a bright and quaint atmosphere inside that can be used either to enjoy lunch with your friends or even go for lunch and to study by yourself. It is a walk up and order restaurant, not a server who comes to you. I attempted to order the lunch taco trio and was told that I could not order fish tacos with this item and could only order those separately. I did not notice that a lot of of the options were vegan meat. So a couple of my tacos I did not realize we're not meat, and they were vegetables. I think it's really awesome that they offer vegan options! I think them and you could make it a little more obvious- the food was served in a decent time, and they also have a few alcohol options! Before they opened in Henderson this was my go-to Tacotarian. As with all the locations I have been to, the food is consistently delicious and the service is great. I always say I want to try something new, but I usually end up with the Birria tacos and the coconut cake (I don't have much of a sweet tooth, but this cake is incredible).
