As someone that has been coming to Las Vegas annually since 2022, The Modern Vegan has been one of my Vegas staples every time! Truly one of my favorite restaurants I have ever experienced. The food is some of the most boundary pushing plant-based cuisine I have ever had the pleasure of trying. Plus their extensive and creative menu will keep you interested for many repeat visits. As wonderful as the food is, one of TMV's true pillars to their business is how incredible their staff is. On our most recent visit, our server Carlos went above and beyond to make sure we had the best dining experience possible. I have had wonderful experiences over the years with all the serves I have had but Carlos was one that particularly stood out. He was wonderful to conversant with, gave great suggestions regarding the menu, and was very on top of everything with our table and experience. Vegan or not, good food is good food and I promise you will be blown away but what this incredible team is capable of!

The Pad Thai was a little wet and squishy. Tasted good, but wouldn't get this again.

My brother-in-law and his wife were in town visiting, and they wanted to meet for lunch at The Modern Vegan. They're both serious plant-based people, so it made sense to go to a veggie friendly restaurant. Hubby and I were pleasantly surprised at how much we enjoyed our meal here! First, the location isn't the most glamorous. The restaurant is tucked off Naples Drive in a kind of sketchy strip mall area that doesn't exactly scream "must-visit restaurant." If you're not paying attention, it's super easy to miss the parking entrance (like my husband did), which means you'll find yourself circling around a few times trying to figure out where to park. Once you actually make the correct turn, the restaurant has a large private parking lot that offers free parking. Inside, the restaurant is dark and sleek yet open and comfortable. The server (who seemed to also be serving as the hostess) greeted us warmly as we joined our brother and sis who had arrived a bit earlier. The menu was varied and had plenty of tasty sounding options. Everything here is vegan, and any "meats" listed are faux meats. There were plenty of classic comfort style food dishes (think waffles and breakfast burritos to overstuffed subs, veggie burgers, macaroni and cheese, and nachos). Some of the selections sounded more creative if you're feeling adventurous. We opted for Pad Thai at the server's suggestion and a creamy pasta dish. Both were very good, but not something I'd call crave worthy. I was taken aback at how huge the entree portions were. Everything on the table was a mountain of food that could feed two people (or one very hungry human). I'd consider sharing if you dine here and don't want leftovers and hate wasting food. I still can't get over the massive portion sizes. You will not go hungry here. Prices are in line with the quality and size of the entrees. My favorite thing we had were the cauliflower wings. If I go back here, I would get those as my main course. They're listed as a appetizer and the serving is more than enough for me for lunch! We got bbq and buffalo, and the buffalo "wings" were what I would call outstanding: crispy on the outside yet soft and tender on the inside. The sauce had a good kick that wasn't too overwhelming as well. These were really, really delicious. The Modern Vegan is a great choice if you are meat-free or are craving vegan comfort food. The rough-around-the-edges location gives the restaurant an undiscovered gem vibe as well. If you're expecting a fancy foodie destination, you'll want to temper those expectations. But if you just want to eat a lot of vegan food, this place won't disappoint.

The Modern Vegan - for the modern restaurant goer, foodie, explorer, cocktail lover, brunch aficionado, lunch lover, dinner in the University area and beyond. And yes it's all 100% plant-based and beyond delicious. The portions are crazy big so bring your appetite or be ready to split a meal with a friend. I'd seen The M.V. pop up for me as a suggestion so many times. And my friend Sid is an expert to most of their menu. Having brunch with him and our friend Todd while being served by the awesome Nicole was a true treat. While the food make take some time to come out, it's beyond worth the wait. The French Toast Bacon Grilled Cheese made me weak with delight. Never have I had such a decadent brunchy breakfast lunch in my life. The flavors, the structure, the sides or potatoes and fruit... I mean yes yes yaaaaas!!! My friends Todd and Sid had epic brunch items as well including the Blueberry Walnut Waffles and Biscuits and Gravy, not to mention more food to go! Yelp Reservation are available and may save you a little time, though The Modern V is open from 10am to 10pm 7 days a week, just off Naples/University City Drive. It's a full bar situation for all your beverage needs including classics like Mimosas (bottomless available also), Bloody Mary's and numerous others. The Modern Vegan also serves up great floats, shakes, smoothies and a plethora of non alcoholic beverages from lemonade to teas, soft drinks, coffee, water and others. From Appetizers to Desserts, Salads to Sandwiches, The M.V. has something for everyone to enjoy. All Time Favorites which include Wraps, Bowls, Entrees of the Mac & Cheese variety, Skillets and more. Breakfast Favorites where you'll discover the French Toasts, "Veggs," Scrambles, Pancakes and so forth. Waffles as well as Chicken & Waffles options are plentiful. Strawberry Banana, Chocolate Peanut Butter, Apple Pie... so many delish must haves. Stellar burgers, sides and a menu full of more than you could want or desire. The entire layout is modern chic, great during the day, but also an equally awesome night vibe. Open to all. Family friendly. Bar, booth or table seating, I prefer the taller tables which are along the bar. Clean space, trendy modern decor with some minimalist meets trendy chic touches. Love the sign to the restroom area... Literally what I told my dad the other day lol "Sorry Daddy... I'm in Vegas" and eating the best food as well as vegan food. Until we meet again Modern Vegan.

As someone who has been plant based for several years, I never get to eat food like this. The whole restaraunt is vegan, including the dairy products. I ordered the BBQ brisket mac and cheese and my husband (not plant based) ordered a chicken sandwich. He finished his burger, said that it felt like a chicken sandwich and didn't feel like he was missing out on anything. If you are a vegan, swing by and check this place out!

We were in a bit of a scramble, checking out of Bellagio at 11 and needing to be at the airport by 1:20, but still determined to squeeze in brunch. Tried Sadelle's at the hotel...line was insane. Luggage check? Even worse. So now we're dragging suitcases around and the last thing I wanted was to trek across another casino floor just to eat. Quick search led us off the Strip to The Modern Vegan, great reviews, on the way to the airport, done deal. Walked in and honestly, the menu alone caught me off guard in a good way. It's huge. Like, you'll need a minute. Tons of food options, tons of drinks, all of it sounding pretty tempting. We went with the lobster stuffed portobello and the skillet scrambler. The "lobster" is actually heart of palm which was super tender, really flavorful. The scrambler was solid too, maybe leaned a little heavy on the potatoes but still hit the spot. Overall, really solid find. They've even got bottomless mimosas for $25, which felt like a dangerous idea given our flight situation. If we weren't on a tight schedule, we definitely would've stayed longer and taken full advantage.

So excited to try out this eatery! Representing us Vegans, it has to be good right! They have several locations in Nevada. Food is delicious, comfort food at it's core. Must visit especially if you are Vegan!

I got the Sunday funday with vegan sausage because I was in the mood for buttered pancakes, and it was definitely fine. I've had this restaurant on my list for years, though, and it wasn't anything special. Maybe it's because I got something on the simpler side, rather than a vegan chicken and waffles dish, but the earth balance butter was the best part of my meal. I may go back, though. 3.5/5.

A vegan, a vegetarian and a carnivore walked into a restaurant and walked out in a food coma! What a treat... amazing vegan food, awesome service by Carlos and a friendly, clean and chill ambience. A must go restaurant. DO NOT MISS the fried banana bread dessert... it is truly a work of art .. Keep up the great work guys!!!

I'm saddened to have to update my review after this last visit. What has happened to TMV??? We stopped by on our drive from LA and were so excited to get our favs. We don't live in Vegas but I used to come often for work and stop by TMV. Sadly it seems to have gone downhill. It was completely empty on a weekend. The server was very nice. We ordered our usual favs: chick'n and waffles (comes with bacon/mashed potatoes/ asparagus) and chickn parm. We got them to go. I think they changed the menu because I didn't get the chunky mashed potatoes that I love. Instead they were breakfast potatoes that were dry. The protein was dry and flavorless along with 2 very sad looking limp waffles. My husband said the chick'n parm was not good either. I ate a little but threw the majority away. Very sad! We waster almost $60!

Our go to Vegan Spot in Vegas. Love the environment and the customer service. The food and desserts are delicious. We always bring our out of town family and friends here and TMV never disappoints.

We ordered :(Pasta Stroganoff) -$25 it tastes like the one we buy in cans in walmart but the presentations good. -(Thailand Salad With Tofu) - $21 Amazing i love it its perfect for me, and the presentations awesome - ( jalapeño popper) $13 Very good recommended for people who love spicy food. Place is decent, clean and staffs are nice.

    Clubhouse sandwich
    A'Lissa O.

Unassuming location in an old strip mall in Vegas with dark windows. Plenty of parking. Greeted warmly by the waiter/ host (he was the only worker we ever saw). Hip decor. Lively music. Not at all busy on a Friday night. Weeknight deals from 4-6pm. Two sides for $5! $2 off sandwiches. We were excited by the all vegan menu (even if it is not as extensive as it used to be). Knowing the portions are large, we decided to share. We tried the Clubhouse on sourdough which was large and nicely presented, but the guacamole and many flavors overpowered the "bacon ". Fries were perfect. The Side Salad was basic except for the TMV sauce he suggested for the dressing. Mashed potatoes were hearty and chunky, but too salty to finish. We didn't try one of the expensive and decadent desserts. Didn't quite live up to our expectations, but we might go back again. I like to support vegetarian establishments. The highlight was the friendly waiter who is the face of this establishment.

The Modern Vegan has garnered awards from the Best of Las Vegas for the past three years (2021, 2022, 2023). Congratulations! Parking is decent. The restaurant is spacious and can accommodate several large groups of people. House music and the vibe is modern casual. Several tvs available. Mostly in their bar area. *Chicken & Waffles - the waffles were soft and fluffy. I was hoping for that crunch, but these didn't have it. The mashed potatoes were creamy and sweet. They added some sweetness to them. The chicken was the star. Usually I cringe when I see breaded white meat. Though, I must say they did a great job brining the chicken and tenderizing it. Because it was soo tender. This dish was so good! *Side of Assorted Vegetables - a good portion and cooked perfectly. Our server was Meilina and she was personable, friendly, & attentive. She also recommended some of their popular dishes. Support your local business.

We always make a…read morestop in Vegas to stock up on groceries and grab brunch before heading to Zion for camping. The food here is incredibly fresh and absolutely delicious - but they really need to step up their dishwashing and make sure the food is served hot. There's nothing worse than ordering coffee and seeing purple lipstick on the rim of your cup. It makes you want to leave right away. Then comes the inner debate - do you say something and risk being that customer, or just wipe it off and move on? On top of that, getting food that's supposed to be hot but arrives cold is frustrating. You sit there wishing you were at home where you could just microwave it - because the food is that good and would taste even better at the right temperature. Our experience wasn't helped by our waiter, who seemed disinterested after the lipstick incident (same guy mentioned in previous reviews that comes off rude AF/ agreed!). We didn't feel like asking for much after that. On the bright side, one of the waitresses was amazing - she looked like she was carrying the whole place. The chef clearly knows what she's doing because the food coming out of the kitchen was fantastic. That said, attention needs to be paid to cleanliness and serving hot food. There's no excuse for that. Despite these issues, I gave it five stars because the problems are fixable and don't take away from how incredible the food is. For reference, we visited on Friday, January 3rd, in the morning. There was a nearby parking structure and no wait time. The decor is a mix of farm-to-table and modern bistro - nothing overly exciting or disappointing. We were just looking for a good brunch spot, and this place is truly a hidden gem. Hopefully, they address the concerns we mentioned because it's worth coming back for! __________ To the Chef, Your food is incredible - truly Michelin-worthy. However, the staff is serving it cold and sometimes on dirty dishes. This isn't the first review mentioning these issues. Also, the tall white guy with grey hair was incredibly condescending and rude. Hospitality doesn't seem to be the right fit for him. It's disappointing to see someone like that representing the amazing work and love you pour into your dishes. On the flip side, the waitress with long brown hair was picking up the slack and holding the place together. She deserves recognition - maybe even a promotion. I hope you see this because if the team can consistently serve food hot and on clean dishware, this place could easily become the top brunch spot around. We appreciate your talent and hope this feedback is helpful! - Vee & Mike

It has a rustic, darker ambiance and not your usual bright and sunny brunch spots. The menu not too big, but offered enough varieties that we decided to try the biscuit and gravy as well as the corned bee hash. We also got house coffee and they were from mother ship coffee. Food came out quickly, but they were lukewarm and felt like it was already made and just put under a food light to be kept warm. The biscuit was good and soft, but the gravy was a little too salty. The corned beef came in a smaller portion than I expected, and the beef was diced too thin that they didn't have great texture and flavor. Coffee was good, but overall food was not as good as we'd expect. Service was average, the waitress was nice but didn't offer much service besides bringing out initial water and coffee over. No one really checked in on us after the food was served. I'd most likely not be back as there are many other brunch places in the downtown area to explore.

We were enjoying the music and it was a vibe until it came to pay the bill. At 9:30 PM, a full 30 minutes before the posted closing time of 10:00 PM, the staff began rushing us out while my wife was still eating. When it came time to pay our bill, our bank cards were temporarily unavailable due to a system outage. We had the money. This was not a financial issue. It was a technical one we were actively working to resolve. Instead of being given a moment, security surrounded our table and treated us as though we were attempting to leave without paying. We were not. We never attempted to leave. I want to note that a couple of the security members were actually kind and professional throughout. A manager then approached with immediate hostility white male, tattoos, wearing a white crop shirt, and beige pants) no introduction, and no interest in hearing our explanation. He made demeaning remarks about our finances and specifically told us that if we didn't pay, he would call the police and trespass us, but if we paid, he would not. We paid. My brother sent $30 via Zelle directly to a security staff member to settle the bill. It was paid in full. He called the police anyway. And trespassed us anyway. I had offered to leave my ID as collateral, leave card information on file, or return the next morning. Every offer was refused before we even got to that point. The responding officers acknowledged his behavior was inappropriate. His own staff was visibly uncomfortable. Unless you are prepared to be treated as a suspect over something completely outside your control, I would think twice before dining here.

The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.

I sometimes mosey into the 'D' Casino for some gambling and nitrates because the thought of…read moreblackjack and bacon makes me grunt so happily. Bacon Nation slaps slices on just about everything but French toast, and even that can be topped with bacon butter and bacon-infused syrup. The build-your-own omelet is a worthy breakfast, stuffed with two veggies and two meats of your choice. Cheddar, diced onion, and two types of bacon inside three eggs was a winner. Be sure to get some thick bacon slices to go (mango habanero, maple glazed, honey-cured) - always nice to chew on during that nine hour Sunday evening drive back to SoCal. And unlike those anorexic slices that fast food places put on their burgers, you can actually taste this bacon. Open 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., they serve lunch too and if you're in 'growling stomach mode', try the Boarrito but be forewarned - this is a pork-fest of a monstrosity that's not designed for consumption by weight watchers or thoroughbred jockeys. A large tortilla filled with ham, sausage, bacon crumbles, pulled pork, guacamole, sour cream, and pico de gallo is then wrapped on the outside with countless slices of more bacon, smothered with cheese sauce and sour cream...now I need to take a nap just thinking about digesting it. It's a massive meal and I feel like the waitress could have positioned me on all fours in front of a feeding trough in order to graze on it. Bacon Nation is located on the D's second floor inside a very clean and bright dining room with lots of booths, a counter, and an ultra-pleasant hostess named Angel. In summary, a well-earned 5 oink review is deserving because their food is that darn good. "Everywhere there's lots of piggies, living piggy lives. You can see them out for dinner with their piggy wives, Clutching forks and knives...to...eat...their...bacon." Beatles, 1968

Bacon Nation was a must-stop on our Vegas trip--everything was absolutely delicious. The portions…read morewere huge, so big that half our group couldn't even finish their meals. It was super filling and exactly what we needed to recharge. Service was a bit slow, and our bride-to-be didn't receive her food until several minutes after everyone else. We also waited quite a while for the check and were met with a little sass, which felt off. Overall, the food was great, but the service could definitely use some improvement.

Enjoying…read morenew places and discovering amazing vibes and delicious food is why I enjoy going to concerts out of town. My cousin found out about Therapy from TikTok and so I made reservations for today at 2:30pm in advance. We made sure to be on time matter of fact we arrived 30 mins in advance since we had to catch a cab and traffic seemed heavier today. Once we entered we were greeted immediately however we were taken upstairs 20 mins later from arrival (no big deal still before our reservations) but there were no available tables. I spied a table getting ready to leave on the first floor and asked if we could wait for it and the hostess happily agreed (thank you)!! Unlimited mimosa 10/10, music 10/10, our personal service 10/10 (she tried and I don't even think she was a server but was very friendly and accommodating) however customer service/wait times/morale 2/10 because I'm typing this right now and it's 3:39pm 11/16/24 and I just got my wings still waiting on my fries. Reservation made for 2:30pm made it at 2:00pm just now have wings no fries and my cousin still doesn't have her food at 3:40....and to Christopher I've read your replies and you're disgusting!!! So let me help you with your response...I'm NOT broke, I DON'T need anyone to sponsor or fund my activities when I'm on vacation...DO BETTER!!! However the lemon pepper wings and fries (second request first were cold) tasted delicious. Therapy has potential if the customer service from Chris was better and food arrived in a timely manner. Also witnessed multiple tables abandon their orders due to excessive wait time however ALL the staff is amazing!! Update: actually met Chris after our food came and he is a complete jerk in person too. Drugs are bad people! Save your money and eat elsewhere I will never support this establishment again.
