We came for the all you can eat lunch special. Every roll was made fresh. The service was quick and very nice. I plan to come back.

More like a 4.5 but I'll bump it up. Small restaurant with sticky floors but they get pretty crowded real quick and servers are nonstop running around trying to attend to everyone. It doesn't bother me that it's semi-dimmed and small. The food made up for it even though my back was to the main entrance door. Good parking spaces. There was a waitlist but we didn't wait for over 30 minutes. Best bang for your buck AYCE sushi at $29.99/person and their menu is THICK. Even for someone who is used to sushi, it was overwhelming at first. The tablet made it easier to order without feeling so needy to the already-so-busy servers. Cheaper at lunch time but menu has less options, mainly no sashimi and only ice-cream as desserts. My favorites are chicken karaage, kanpachi sashimi, yellowtail sashimi, salmon sashimi, Cajun albacore sashimi, spider roll, Starbucks roll, baked green mussels, and their mochi (I got strawberry and mango). I got a lot more but those are my favorite and highly recommend for you to try. Final destination sushi rolls are majority of the people's favorite, including my server's. Eel sashimi is on a grill, which was surprising and good. Wasabi was lacking the spice and I'm not a fan of pink ginger but it's an AYCE so not complaining. What I do suggest you to do is to stay away from hot cheesecake and ice cream tempura. Unfortunately, they most likely use the same batter batch with their meats/seafood and they fry it with their seafood/meat oil so all you taste is mainly seafood, which is quite disgusting when you want your desserts to be desserts. I love seafood but that was gross. I still ate the insides. Overall, a solid restaurant for AYCE sushi. I like that the majority of their sushi rolls are half and they don't kill you with so much rice. Plus, you have an option to not get AYCE if you're not too hungry.

I really enjoyed the food and the ambiance. The built in seating could use cushions as it was a bit uncomfortable however everything else made up for it. I loved the all-you-can-eat option for $29.99 per person it's a great value. It gave me the option to try many new to me option items on the menu. I just wish I had more time to try more items since we were in a bit of a time crunch. This place has been listed as one of the top spots in Katy, and I can definitely see why. The food was fresh and came out quickly. Portions are small, which is perfect for trying a variety of dishes. The staff was friendly and attentive throughout our visit. They offer a lot of options and a full menu, so there's something for everyone. I recommend and will I'll definitely be back soon!

The sushi was so good here! Especially the sashimi! I went for lunch but because it was a Good Friday, they said it was a holiday so they are doing dinner all day. I like that we can order from the iPad and don't have to flag down the staff to order things. I ordered something and they said they can't make it because they don't have avocado. Which was a lie cause all the rest of our things came with avocado. I have no idea why they gave that excuse, cause it was a pretty bad excuse to make the dish that I ordered.

Lunch $19.99!!! CHECK OUT VIDEO Hard to beat this AYCE! What a rhyme! Now it's review time! idk why I'm single. Food: Ok- so everything is amazing. Literally everything tastes fresh. Zero complaints on food. I don't typically like fried rolls but they're "what the hell" roll was packed with flavor and spice. It was surely a pleasant surprise. Service: everyone is always so kind and quick. It's perfect Ambiance: Your typical small shopping center sushi spot. Not too bright, small sushi bar. Great service and smells fresh! Thank me later!

I can't believe this was my first time trying Taizzi Sushi! This place is beyond amazing! A neighbor highly recommended it, and I'm so glad I finally gave it a try. From the moment I walked in, the service was exceptional, and the food???!!! Absolutely flawless! I went with the AYCE lunch menu, and let me tell you - every single item was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. Nothing and I do mean nothing, disappointed me. Every bite was SUPER packed with quality and taste, making this my top AYCE sushi spot! Trust me, that's a huge deal! A massive thank you to the Taizzi staff for an unforgettable dining experience. I'll definitely be back very soon!

We're regualrs here at Taizzi. They have the best sushi here in Katy in my opinion. Their salmon is very fresh and thickly sliced. The sushi selection is very tasty and their service is great! Susam has always been very pleasant and Nene, he's very friendly and warm! Their ambiance needs a bit of an update but their food surpasses it.

Great sushi spot. Came here for lunch with my sister. I love that they give out 4 piece half rolls. At most AYCE places you get the full 8 piece rolls, but then can't try as much. The 4 pieces were a great touch. Plus they have a ton of great appetizers and other dishes. The service is great, but also like that you can order straight from the tablet at the table. This is a must try if you're in the Katy area and live sushi! Small intimate little place with great offerings.

The all you can eat part of the menu is confusing. So if 2 adults wants AYCE during the M-F lunch hour, it says $21 per person. So does this mean unlimited sushi and sashimi, etc.?

Only what's included in the AYCE menu but yes, unlimited.

What is the latest pricing for AYCE for dinner? That includes Sashimi.

There's no separate price for sashimi like some other buffets. It' all-inclusive of one price for $35.99. Drinks are included, I'm not sure why the posted prices on the menu having 3 different levels but we've been here at least a dozen times and…

Is the 50% off still going on as of 5/19/2020?

    Yes.

I'm proud that they have servers of this caliber at Asian restaurants in Houston, TX. Usually you see professional servers at upscale restaurants. There was a busboy there towards the end, and even he was super professional. Whoever the manager is at this location, you guys are doing an outstanding job training the staff here. Keep up the good work! 2. Price - about $15/bowl. 3. Ambiance - The decor here is beautiful. There are natural lighting from the front, with wood panels everywhere, lanterns hung high. They did a nice job decorating the place and you definitely feel as if you're in Japan somewhere. 4. Food - This is where this place shines compare to all the ramen places in Houston. They have the option of low sodium broth. I took one sip, and it felt like home cooked Ramen. I'm not talking about instant ramen that you buy from the store, but the ramen made from scratch. I often go to ramen places in Houston and I dread going because I know how salty they taste. There are 2 other locations I have in mind in Houston that are also my favorites. But I would say this is not bad compared to the bowl of ramen I had in Narita, Japan. If you're wondering what I've ordered, it was the CHICKEN RICH RAMEN and make sure to request for low sodium. 5. Cleanliness - Dining area is well kept, clean, and the busboy is on top of things. The restroom is questionable. The personal restroom doors are hard to close and lock. For management, have a look at the restrooms and see if you can improve things. SUMMARY: I would definitely come back. It is just THAT GOOD!

I was so hungry I forgot to get a photo of the initial presentation, but the noodles were perfect and the broth was tasty. Other than that, it was pretty lackluster: the soft-boiled egg was hard and one of the grossest eggs I've had, and the chashu was cold. We also ordered some chicken karaage, but that never showed, and our waiter was too busy to stop by so I could tell him. I'm not familiar with the ramen scene in Houston, but Kizuki was a huge letdown, especially with their roots to Japan. ご馳走様でした

The selection is a bit more limited for lunch, but the price is lower than dinner as well. Being AYCE, I wouldn't expect the highest quality, type, and cut of fish, but what they had was pretty solid, tasted fresh, and was delicious. A minor complaint would be they had no sashimi option, even for the tamago which I personally believe is eaten best without rice, but that's just minor stuff considering the good value here. As much as I try to find a reason not to give this place an outstanding rating, if I compare it to the AYCE category of restaurants, it did everything right. They do have a regular a la carte menu, with a selection that looks like a treat in itself. As for me, I highly enjoyed their jalapeno bomb to start. I highly doubt they used snow crab, tasted like imitation crab, but I enjoyed it nevertheless and got another order at the end. I tried a few nigiri while I was here, with eel being my favorite (and thank goodness for no bones, which was lucky because it's eel). Their tacos were an unexpected standout and is worth a bite or two. Using sheets of nori and frying it to it holds up like a shell is pretty genius and more places need to do this. I had a good time with their Burning Alaska signature maki, which has salmon as the main star. The smokiness from torching was a killer! Their curry reminded me of S&B, which might very well be the mix they used. I was a bit disappointed to not see fish katsu as an option considered it's a sushi place, but I can see the katsu curry selection being a good option as a comfort dish. I wish I had the stomach space to try out new stuff, but maybe next time. Wish someone would post a photo of the salmon skin salad, because I'm a bit curious about that!
