My lunch adventure that eventually led to Tam's was quite eventful. First, we stopped at at Greek place down the road but we left as soon as we saw the pricing on the menu. $12 for one stick of chicken or beef with salad and rice?! No thanks! Then, we went further down Yucaipa Boulevard to a Philly cheese steak place. Cash only with an ATM machine in front of the cash register? Nope, I don't like to eat ATM fees for lunch. Back into the car again with Tam's in our sight. Hurray, Tam's-- you take ATM cards, have a good selection of fast food, and at a great price! Highlights: The Philly cheese steaks are huge and pretty tasty. The combo size is big enough to feed two people. The fries are piping hot. Great selection at the beverage bar including horchata, pink lemonade, and pina. I had my eye on the pineapple shake (medium size is only $1.39!!!) but was too full from lunch. Lastly, the place is super squeaky clean, especially the restrooms. Yay! read more

I asked if I could have zucchi and onion rings on our combos instead of the fries and the guy said sure, no problem, whatever you want. There was NO mention of an extra charge that I discovered once I got my receipt in hand. We also ordered an avocado burger that you needed a microscope to see the avocado on it. First time for me- I had a double cheeseburger combo, no tomato no pickle, nice and big size. Comparable of Farmer Bois ™ size. French fries were MORE than enough. I'm a big dude, trust me. The Ranch dressing - for all you other connoisseurs out there - was barely enough for the massive fries. Not too runny. Was mixed with a name brand mix for sure. Still good. Food is always great. I love that they still have the 1/4 lb meat not the 1/3 lb thick crap. The cheeseburgers are always good and fresh. The Philly cheesesteak is my favorite i usually get it with extra cheese so it's oozing cheese and I order a grilled jalapeño on the side . Delicious! Marc Has always been awesome! We live in Yucaipa and have eaten here many times and always enjoyed. Tonight however we had them deliver our food to the house so we could take advantage of their free delivery and support local small businesses because of the covid-19 scare. The food arrived which impressed every but when I paid I didn't realize I had given the young lady an extra $20 more than what I owed. She came back to my house and returned my $20 on her own before I realized that I had given her too much. Needless to say I was happy to see that there is good people still being raised in this world. I called the restaurant to let them know what had just happened and it was the owners daughter who had just delivered my food. I would give zero stars if I could. My sister went to pick up an online order and they had her waiting almost an hour. Besides the fact of that I am disgusted at their lack of humanity and compassion during this time for the homeless and those who are hungry. Went in last night. Had to wait 15 minutes just to order. Waited 20 minutes for the food it still wasn't ready. 40 minutes later they gave us our food and the order was crap we'd ordered french fries for orders they charged us we got nothing not one french fry. Everything was made so haphazardly and crappy I couldn't believe I was in Tams. We asked to speak with a manager they said sorry we have no manager here just an owner who comes in once a week he'll be here tomorrow. Have you ever heard of such crap!?! We spent $50 in there on dinner and dessert and it was all a hot mess. Next morning I spoke with the owner and he said he would replace the order. We always get the best food in there it's really unusual not to get great service and great food. This is our home away from home when it comes to eating out in our town. I went here tonight (Christmas) with my parents. The ladies working tonight were AMAZING! Super attentive and just the sweetest! Excellent customer service, I thank you for working on the holiday. I had the Philly cheese steak with fries...so tasty...nearly perfect! The fries were seasoned well. My mom had the bbq chicken sandwich...what a delightful surprise, sort of chopped and shredded, the bbq sauce was tangy and a hint of kick. Moist and not messy. My dad had the cheeseburger, he is picky...not enough onions for him, BUT, I believe if he had asked for more onions the server would have gladly gotten him some more.
