Came in for dinner around 8:20; they close at 9 and we were told last call was in a few minutes. We placed our orders right away; I ordered the ox tail soup. Side dishes came out a few minutes after ordering - fish cake, kim chi, radishes, bean sprouts, and tofu. Our food came out very quickly as well, a few minutes after the side dishes. We were asked to pay the check when the food came, since they were closing in half an hour. We ended up speed-eating our food and finished in about 15-20 minutes; they started cleaning up all the tables so we felt quite rushed. The meal itself was a smaller portion. Some meat and a small handful of noodles. Not sure if it's always that small, or if it was because we came before closing. We made it out right before closing time, and there were still other customers sitting when we left. Overall, food was decent and service was quick. I had a very disappointing experience here today. I came in to pick up a takeout order, and everything seemed fine at first. I checked my food, paid, and signed the receipt. Since this was a takeout order, I did not leave a tip, which should not affect the level of basic customer service. However, after noticing that I did not add a tip, the staff member's attitude visibly changed. When handing me the food, they placed it down abruptly without saying a word and walked away with an obvious negative expression. The difference in behavior before and after seeing the receipt was very noticeable and unprofessional. Tipping for takeout is optional, not mandatory. Customers should not be treated poorly or made to feel uncomfortable simply because they chose not to tip on a takeout order. Professionalism and basic courtesy should be consistent regardless of tipping. This experience left a very bad impression, and I hope management takes this seriously and addresses how customers are treated. read more

I was craving something soupy so we ordered lunch here for takeout. I ordered the galbitang (beef short rib soup) which comes with glass noodle. The beef ribs were decent, though kind of wish they were easy melt off the bone. Flavor was decent, broth was pretty good. My hubby ordered the yukgae jang (spicy beef broth soup) which comes with glass noodle. The broth was flavorful, and there were plenty of veggies. My hubby liked that it wasn't too salty like other places. Overall, prices are decent. I was pleased to see that everything was packaged and boxed nicely, so you won't need to worry about soup "spilling." I only wish they had more variety of side dishes/ban chan besides just the daikon and kimchi. They accept credit cards and there's plenty of parking read more
