I cannot stress enough how nice it is when you're greeted by staff that are genuinely appreciative to have your business. That's how it was for us. Door opened for us and we were welcomed and seated immediately. Service 10/10 the whole visit I'm a very picky pizza person and I thoroughly enjoyed the pizza here. The crust and quality of the toppings were spot on. The vibe of the place is definitely one of what could be a "hangout" spot to have some good pizza/wings, a cold beer and just chill. Looking forward to visiting again in the future

Black owned pizza restaurant located on the east side of San Antonio. Great seating located inside and outside for patrons to enjoy the meal. They have a nice open bar to order drinks. Food comes out on time, fresh and hot. Great music and vibes playing in the background. Definitely can watch all the different sports. They have TVs located inside and outside. Definitely centrally located on N. New Braunfels Ave. on the east side. Delicious pizza and great wings. You can't beat that.

We ordered a medium pepperoni pizza, which was absolutely amazing. The pizza was very yummy and tasty. The only downside was that it wasn't as crunchy as I would have liked, but the flavor made up for it. We also had a side of buffalo wings. They only offer bone-in wings, which I thought were very good. Overall, I was really pleased with the meal and would definitely recommend Tank's Pizza for its delicious food Service wasn't the best but it wasn't bad. We went around 1pm and it wasn't as lively as it probably would've been around 5pm. We noticed they have an outside area for those who like you eat outside.

Locally owned and supports our military and veterans... Lovely! Especially knowing the background - The location of the establishment is not the best nor would it attract your attention to stop. It's on the corner of a busy street and the outside looks questionable. THOUGH, don't be fooled by its appearance. The moment you walk in, you are greeted. Immediately after sitting, the server came to get our beverage order. The owner's wife came to take our order. She was courteous and professional. Our order didn't take long. The Caesar salad was delicious. Our wings crispy as requested- YUM! Pizza tasted just like you make it at home. My kids loved it. I highly recommend you give it a shot.

Came here on a Friday night after coming from Elsewhere and was heading back home for the night. This place was located right near our air bnb, so we gave it a shot. It's very much a neighborhood pizza spot.... so no frills. There were a few people seated and seemed to be celebrating a birthday. We ordered a large pizza, half cheese, half pepperoni, small fries and a full Cajon wings. The gentleman behind the register was super pilot, friendly, outgoing and courteous. Due to someone there asking for a picture, I can assume he is the owner. Our food took 15 minutes to come our and we headed home to eat. Food- nothing really special to mention. When we got the large box, it looked like a medium.sized box. When we ooened the pizza box, the slices were cut small. The pizza crust was soft and the taste was okay. I'm not from the area and used to pizza in NY and NJ so I dint know how Texas pizza compares. But from the pizza I've had, it was average. Fries were okay and not crispy. The wings seemed to be fried and then seasoned. It was too salty for our palette. Came with a ranch sauce that was good. Service was goid.

This establishment has a really cool vibe. As the only black owned pizza shop in San Antonio (so says their brochure) it feels like it serves as a community hub for the locals, with comedy shows put on what seems like every week. The service was casual but the employees were friendly and attentive. I got a medium pepperoni and mushroom (I wanted some leftovers) and my partner got a personal cheese which was actually a really good portion. Crust was crisp yet chewy and the cheese blend worked really well. Would recommend a visit on one of the nights with a show.

Great Food and service with Live Entertainment. What else can you ask for? Our server was great, polite, and made great suggestions for the menu items. Had the meat pizza and 2 flavors of the wings. All were really good. Surprised this place wasn't packed! My new go-to spot for Pizza and Wings! The price was decent too!! Please don't increase your prices!!

    Cheese pizza with pepperoni's.

I typically don't leave a review, but this needs it. I ordered a cheese pizza with pepperoni along with mozzarella sticks. I showed up and the parking was insane as I was unaware there was a full bar and outside area. When I walked in, it was super busy. I waited in line to be attended, I was told pizza wasn't ready. I got a text saying my order was ready so I went back to the counter. The girl was attending someone else when she was done I thought she would ask how she could help, but didn't. She kept walking so I flagged her and asked about my order. She said it wasn't ready despite the text I received. Shortly after that she called my name cause the order was finally ready. I drove home, got there and opened the box and the pizza looked decent. I finally take a bite and the cheese tasted old. I took my mozzarella stick and dipped to marinara sauce and the sauce tasted old as well. This was my second time trying it and was not impressed. I was trying to support a local business, but I definitely will not be back. Wishing this business plenty success and hope they can make it better for future customers.

This pizza is good!!! Really enjoyed every bite down to the crust. We went simple and ordered the large stone cheese pizza. It's crazy how regular cheese pizza is but can taste different at different places. This cheese pizza is certainly top tier. Also what's top tier is the service, very welcoming and friendly. This is a nice local black owned spot that looks to support the community with good food and fun. Thank you for being a great asset for San Antonio!! Large stone cheese pizza Pepsi products

The food feels like the chefs were given good quality materials, but had no idea what to do with them. We ordered a funghi pizza to share then a cinghiale, a costine (short ribs), and a dentice (bass). Funghi pizza was the only dish that made coming worth it at all. It had a nice flavor, but if you're expecting the notes of an earthy mushroom flavor, don't. It's just a nicer version of a standard cheese pizza topped with some onions and mushroom. The cinghiale was just stunningly mediocre. The meat was flavorful, but the pasta itself was shockingly bland. It was just so... ok. The dentice was the best of the 3 individual dishes, but it is just what you would expect some average short ribs with random sauce to taste. The costine was just terrible. Salty on the outside, yet flavorless on the inside. Avoid at all costs. The service was passable, but they clearly overwork their servers as one server just handles an entire section and is too overwhelmed to be timely. I came to cheer myself up, but honestly it only made dinner comically worse. I seriously can't imagine what would cause someone to rate this as 5 stars. Maybe if they thought Olive Garden was 4.5, then I guess this would barely be a 5 in comparison? Either way, if you're looking for good food for your dinner, keep looking. You won't find it here.

Truly every person at the table seemed to love what they ordered -- we had a lot of "you have to try this!" moments being passed around the table. One thing I especially appreciated was the Caesar salad. I noticed another review mentioning the anchovy flavor in the dressing as a negative, but in my opinion, that's exactly what made it great. Now the food real Italian food. Not the kind that just throws red sauce at you and hopes for the best. This is layered. Garlic that actually means something. The restaurant itself is along a quiet area of the River Walk in an old stone building with tons of charm. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting, perfect for a group dinner. As for the food, it was good but not exceptional. I was excited for the Goat Cheese Pizza with balsamic onion, pistachio, and saba. The thin crust, however, was almost too crunchy and a bit tough to eat. The toppings didn't stand out as much as I had hoped, likely because they were overbaked together. It was about 60 degrees outside and we kindly asked to turn off the outside fans which were on full blast. Once. Then again, and again, and again. After 5 attempts asking various people we gave up and the waitress let us know she couldnt turn them off because their iPad control died. We werent upset at this we were just upset we kept getting different answers and no explanation for our entire 2+ hr meal. We finished the entree and were waiting for the dessert for about 15 minutes until we finally just flagged down a waittress and asked to get the check and desert to go because we were ready to leave. We waited another 10 minutes before someone else brought us our desert but no check. We asked them for the check and then the original waitress came back with our check and another set of deserts. At some point I saw another server who seemed like the manager or supervisor telling another worker to straighten the tables outside so the corners were aligned... needless to say the table alignment was not the issue. Overall just seemed like the restaurant was overwhelmed and there wasn't alot of communication between tables and the staff. It seems the staff was trying their best but the management wasn't handling it well. Would have appreciated more effort into making sure we were taken care of considering the meal for 2 totaled almost 300$. The only reason this isn't a one star is because of the kind waiting staff.

It was extremely salty and completely inedible, so we had to send it back. The waitstaff was very accommodating and agreed that the salt level was way off, so we replaced it with the carbonara. I'm not sure if that's what authentic carbonara is supposed to taste like, but I did not enjoy it. It tasted burnt to me and had too much pepper. I also didn't care for the shape of the noodles.
